If you're going to give up draft picks for a WR in an attempt to make a run, why Givens? Why not make a play for Alshon Jeffery? If Ozzie wanted to pick at the Rams' bones, why not Brian Quick over this guy?

Is that what it is a 2017 pick? We've already traded away a couple later round picks for 2016, another one would be out of character for Ozzie. But a 2017 pick, 7th or 6th round is not bad as long as he can contribute.

Steve Smith with 4 Broken bones is his back. Smh. If I'm Ozzie I'm on the phone with the Bears right now because at this point we are pretty desperate. Brown, Givens, Waller and Aiken are #5 only options

Seems like he could be a clone of Campanaro, hopefully he will turn out to be a good returner, slot guy, and maybe pretty good on a go route.

I feel sorry for Camp but I knew he wasn't major league material, but a least he got to be on the field with the legends of the game for a while. Can't be productive if your always on the side lines with injuries, time to move on. Next man up Relentless!!!!!!!!!!!

*Sigh... First I almost had a heart attack when I read an article talking about Camp being able to get out of his wheelchair the day after the game( wheelchair being the trigger word). I then was optimistic he would be back sooner than later but now I here its a herniated disk which ain't no joke.

On the plus side Ozzie does it again I mean a conditional 2017 7th round pick for a desperately needed speedster who was a fourth rounder in 2012, can play returner and who was a track star in high school and college too I believe. Look I know before the Steelers game and maybe even after many lost faith in Ozzie( I don't really get why he cant prevent injuries) of all people but to me the man will always be a genius. He keeps on finding ways and deals to get guys on this squad and for that I'm thankful.

Get well soon Camp, welcome to Charm City Chris Givens, and thank you Ozzie and Ravens management for making some moves, adding some vital life blood to the team, and shaking things up.

I can't beleive Steve would be standing and talking to reporters after the game about putting a guy on his lifetime hit list with 4 broken bones in his back. I broke one bone in my back and I could barely stand and was in a lot of pain. That just does not sound right to me.

We do not have the cap space and we would be giving up more than a first round pick for AJ, because the Bears said he is NOT on the trading block. The Bears said he is the one guy they want to rebuild around. I do not see how Ozzie could make that happen.

First, Campanero seems to be Mr. Glass. He can't play 60 minutes in a backup role without getting hurt. I don't understand this move. Why not bring up Ross from the practice squad who also has some return ability? Giving up a pick for a guy with only catch this season may not be the right move. I also agree with previous post. With 4 broken bones in Smith Sr back, its time to call the Bears.

Is it true Steve Smith has 4 broken bones in his back??? Lil Camp out and possibly Smith, we going to need a real threat on the field if Smith is out.

Per Adam Schefter on Espn:

The Bears are not fielding trade offers for Alshon Jeffries. They added that they "don't understand why trading away old defensive players all the sudden means we're open to shipping away key building blocks for our future for someone's old pair of gym socks."

*just an experiment here

Many fans here seem to refuse to believe we don't have the cap space or that he ain't on the trade block

Btw for all the people saying why don't we or why didn't we get Alshon Jeffery, its simple he has less than a year left on his contract and the kid is about to get paid where ever he decides to go.

Seriously why trade draft picks for a guy who will probably be on this team as long as Steve Smith Sr will be. Ozzie has enough contracts to worry about resigning next year.

He's in all honesty not going to get in a bidding war with teams who want to make it rain on this kid.

They are now saying (whoever THEY are) its his ribs not his back.

Our fans really need to read more about our team and stop asking nonsensical questions.Ashon would need a new contract next year and the Ravens could still lose him with draft picks.

Lil Camp played his butt off Thursday and helped big time in getting us that win, why we mad he doesn't stay healthy, you have to appreciate that he left his spleen on the field for us and his team-mates

Darn it! Camp is such a tease. He looked so good vs. PIT in his limited touches. That TD was all him. He was dead to rights and burned not 1, but 2 defenders to get to the end zone. When I'd see him do things like that, I think, man, this guy can be a real weapon for us. I've been rooting hard for him.

Unfortunately, plays end with a tackle and he's apparently not capable of being tackled without being injured ... sometimes seriously. I feel for him, but I can't help but think that, while he's physically gifted, he's not physically sturdy enough to play on Sundays. I think we need to realize we can't count him among our WR group next year because of his frailty.  What a shame.

Yeah but Chris Givens is also in the last year of his rookie deal so losing picks for guys that are gone next year in and of itself isn't the problem. I don't think Ozzie would ever ship more than a 5th round pick in this scenario.

Also, if we're holding out hope that we can make some big free agent WR signing with that chunk of cash that frees up against the cash next year, just google nfl free agents 2016 and sort by WRs on Spotrac. It's slim pickings.
