Really hope Browns don't ruin Hue ...

Hoping for NYG

The Giants and 49ers both make sense for him, but the Giants especially. The Browns will be stuck with like their sixth choice once again. Edited by Inqui

Thing is, Marvin Lewis' contract could have ended on Sat Night.  2015 was Marvin's last year of the deal but before the 2015 season Mike Brown gave him a one year extension through 2016. In July 2012, Mike Brown gave Lewis a 2 year extension. They have had chances to part with him, but Brown keeps giving him extensions.

Its usually never a good idea to have a lame duck coach so that's why he's probally getting extensions. Maybe he is too cheap to get rid of him cuz he's got a contract and he'll be stuck with him for life. lol.

The Browns will be stuck with like their sixth choice once again.

This would be funny if it wasn't true. Now its just plain sad.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with Lewis in the offseason. I said in the game thread that his comeback will have kept his stock alive, but the loss would very possibly burn all remaining patience with him if he goes one and done next year. So if he doesn't get an extension, that could be a sign that next season would be his final shot.

The Browns need to make themselves better employers. They've got no one to blame but themselves.

Totally agree with the 1st paragraph.

Truck stop Jimmy still gonna be the final decision maker so prospects don't look very good.

LMAO!

I know, it hurt to say that, but Hue is an innovative offensive coach. And keep in mind, this team was a kick six away from sweeping us this year.

Browns could actually be a competent team under Hue and one of the top QBs in the draft.

They would fire Hue just as he got them to be a competent team then start all over again lol.

Bengals DB coach Vance Joseph finally confirmed as the new Dolphins DC. He brings Bengals LB coach Matt Burke with him to do the same role.

Two Bengals coaches down. Let's see what happens to Paul Guenther and Hue Jackson.

Hue had a second interview with the Browns, and a deal may be close. The 49ers dropped out of the Hue Jackson race today meaning a deal has to be close for Hue to being the Browns next Head Coach

Sounds like that guy saying he's heard it's a done deal for Jackson as the next Browns HC may be true. I read that on a Bengals forum while looking for info on the status of Lewis.

Not a done deal. Hue Jackson left his second interview with Cleveland WITHOUT a job offer.

It'll be interesting to see what happens. I think no matter what happens, Jackson is out the door & taking someone with them. It looks like the Bengals coaching staff is finally getting raided for once. Please leave us & ours alone. Ted was enough. Lol

Who's Jackson taking? Or rather, Hue's Jackson taking? ;)

I know they've just lost two good defensive coaches (as well as a popular in-house candidate to rise to DC or even HC after Lewis), so hopefully that pillaging continues. It's nice to be on the outside looking in on that happening to a side for once.

Oh, just a guess--or maybe an optimistic wish.

I just hope they don't try to take CB. I've been nervous about him going to CIN as a DC, honestly.

The 49ers are expected to decide between Chip Kelly and Mike Shannan as their next Head Coach.

Joe Philbin has resurfaced in New York, Giants are expected to hire him as their Offensive Coordinator.

Speaking of the Giants, Tom Coughlin has withdrawn himself from the Eagles Head Coach search.

yes, that throws a wrench in a trade back partner, chip sucks

Maybe he will give us NaVorro Bowman and Joe Staley for our 5th and 7th rounders lol. Chip is going to clean house again

Baalke has the roster on lock. Kelly has no say so on the Roster

here is my problem with this pick,

Didn't they get rid of a good coach due to personality conflicts, Harb had a special personality and this is the same as kelly,

so why go down that road again. seems a little redundant.

Plus he screwed up the draft. he will keep KAEP.
