Watch them draft another DL player and the analysts will rave about it only for them to be mediocre again

Absolutely. They'll beat the Seahawks once and next thing you know, the media will be asking if they're for real.

Then when they miss the playoffs, the media will be asking what went wrong while everyone else will be like... Jeff Fisher is what's wrong with them!

I mean, yes and no. Fisher is about as overrated a coach as they come, but the Rams haven't been relevant at all since 2004, and Fisher didn't show up until 2012. Like most teams that have been irrelevant for that long, they've spent a decade looking for a respectable QB.

Media will be analyzing that their offense was subpar which probably means that their OC will get fired. Their secondary will remain questionable and the front-7's talent will be wasted yet again. Same ole same ole.

Yeah I think most people realize the Rams won't be anything until the get a QB and an O-line. The O-line has some younger talent now so it could be on it's way to getting better but they really need to hit on a QB.

Lovie Smith's firing from Tampa has brought him full circle returning to the state of Illinois. Lovie is leaving the NFL and returning to College Football for the first time since 1995 where he was a DB Coach for Ohio State. He will become the new Head Coach of Illinois, after new Athletic Director Josh Whitman fired Bill Cubit.

After no playoff victories and a 0-7 playoff record, it does seem Mike Brown has finally grown impatient with Marvin Lewis.

Took long enough.

Well never mind the above. Though the Bengals will be winless in the playoffs for another two years minimum, unless another extension keeps him past 2017.

I'm seriously wondering what does Lewis have on Mike Brown to keep getting extension after extension despite his 0-7 playoff record.

Well if the Bengals kept him throughout the down years, it's not really shocking that they are going to stick with him when they are regularly getting to the playoffs.

I would make myself cry (figuratively and maybe literally) if we gave them their first playoff victory in this millennium.
