Well, that was quick. Givens has had some good seasons, he can play WR and Kick returner for us. Sucks that Campanaro is on IR but it's a herniated disk, those aren't easy to deal with. Sucks to see him gone for the season honestly. It would be nice if we can get him for a full 16, can't imagine how frustrated he is. Wish for a speedy recovery for him. 

Camp with the leg problem and now this.  Stinks.  Looks like Mgmt has him on the back burner now.  I honestly don't know why they would keep him since this news came out.

 Speculation ??? Hey..........  Is Wes Welker out there in one piece?? Maybe Dallas Clark will get a phone call.  Randy Moss???

Lol, he just doesn't play up to his size. We really need a guy to step up. Aiken is good but he's not a #1 option truthfully.

Not dead yet.   I'd take early injuries over late season.   We won a Superbowl similar to the season we are having right now.

I like the move too. Givens isn't a do it all guy by any means. But like others have said he can stretch the field and has had success.

He wasn't ever really given a chance in Fisher's offense. Plus they've had very erratic QB play and a stagnant offense (much worse than ours).

There is definitely some promise here.

because two weeks = a month

 

tell me which proven player is 1) on the market and 2) for a reasonable price. Teams don't just shop around proven receivers unless they want way more than they are worth or the player has other issues. No thanks.

If we can go 3-3, and trade deadline looms for dead teams.   You can expect another move by Ozzie.   Before that, acquiring a pro receiver is probably out of question for us.   

Ozzie made a very small gamble for 1-3 team.   He would need to see something bigger and a better record to put his chips into the table.

Suggs,Perriman, Gilmore,Monroe Camp, and now our only viable weapon on offense is most likely out for at least a few weeks if not worse unless it's not as bad as it sounds. Hopefully we also kick the tires on a few free agent workouts for safety measures too.

I agree to an extent. But the FO could have killed two birds with one stone. We know the basic makeup of our wrs for next year, we won't have anyone proven. Why not pull off a better trade to bring on someone that could make a difference right away and for the future.
