If you all haven't watched the WIRED segment from the locker room after the game last night I encourage you to see it. Seeing the admiration, love and respect the players and Harbaugh have for Coach Brooks brought a tear to my eye. Let's go!!!

yes we finally won game even though it was hard game and defense finally showed up. Sign tucker to long term now ozzie because he proved he is $$$ in the clutch situation. Also, we need WR help since smith and Camp got injured.

I feel like this win could really turn the tide for this team. Are we a good football team? Yes. Are we the best in the AFC North? No. But that doesn't matter. We win 2 of the next 2 (VERY do-able) and we are right back in this thing. Let's go baby!

Great Win we still have a life left in the season! I know Ozzie does not read any of the these, but Please Ozzie go out and make the trade with Bears and get Alshon Jeffrey from the Bears. I don't care if you have to give up a first round pick to do it. Get Joe another weapon!

On the Bell run its hard to believe that there was not a flag thrown. The offense actually tackled the defensive guy. All the yellow that has been thrown so far and they miss that. SMH

I read that Chicago is not going to get rid of Jeffrey. They are supposed to keep him as a building block. Forte on the other hand is another story. Looks like they are cleaning house, and they get Oakland this week.

Smith being okay is huge for us. Bad news is Campanaro doesn't sound good. A lot of small receivers like Wes Welker and Randall Cobb always have injuries and Campanaro feels the same way. It makes me wonder how Steve Smith hasn't missed more time over his 13 or whatever seasons he has had. Really tough guy I wouldn't count him out of the Browns game. Luckily there is a couple extra days for it to heal up.

1. What a debut for Will Davis. From what I saw he helped balance the secondary out and made some huge plays. Definitely a #3 corner from what I saw from him.

2. Justin Tucker is so clutch and kicks with so much confidence. Please pay him and don't let him leave.

3. Flacco needs to be smarter with his decision making and protect the ball. However, Nobody got open for the most part and its starting to show that Flacco needs play making Wrs.

4. Big time players make big time plays, yes I'm talking to you Will hill.

Overall, the defense held their own and finally got 4th quarter stops. The offense still needs some work but the run game bailed us out on certain situations. It still feels weird being 1-3 but the team has to build on it. GO RAVENS!

Yeah there really was never much to that whole "lets trade for Jeffery" thing anyway. Fans jump on some beatwriters tweet about what somebody should do and they're convinced its going to happen.

Other teams have weapons that we don't and let's not deny it. Quarterback is the most overrated position in the game. Most quarterbacks out of college can throw the ball 9/10 times on the spot the receiver needs it. The difference from pros and college is pros can read defenses better to make adjustments. Flacco has very little to work with on offense over his 8 year span here. Think about it. Peyton Manning came into the league with Harrison playing at a hall of fame level and Reggie Wayne came in and he was a marvelous talent, and add in Dallas Clark. The reason he went to Denver was because of their amazing O-line and receivers that had TIM TEBOW take them to the divisional round of the play offs the year before. Aaron Rodgers goes down and Matt Flynn still takes the Packers to the play offs with Jordy Nelson and company. Tom Brady has sometimes had to work with nothing, but the Patriot's scheme even made Matt Cassel take them 11-5. Quarterback position is overrated, what makes a quarterback's career is their offensive line and weapons getting open and our offensive line has been off and on the last 4 games and the receivers are struggling to get open. That is why we are 1-3. Call Flacco mediocre all you want but you saw what happened when he had good protection and receivers that were able to get separation in 2012.

A WR as a building block that will look for 9-10 Million a year with a pathetic excuse for a QB, a defensive minded coach with a D like a sieve...sure.

Yeah, not buying it...

1. I assume you meant 2012, because the 2013 season Joe had no protection and receivers who couldn't buy their way open.

2. The biggest knock on guys like Pitta and Boldin was that they COULDN'T get separation. Its why they had so many contested catches while they were here. Derrick Mason is actually a much better example of a WR who actually got open via route running and could get separation... we haven't had anybody like that since.

3. There's a long list of quality QBs in this league who seem to do quite well with a pretty bad offensive line. Andrew Luck kind of jumps off the page at you in that regard.

Thrilling win. Ugly but still thrilling. Yesterday reminded me again why I love Ravens football.

Campanaro is a star if he is healthy. I get excited every time he catches/runs the ball. Too bad he consistently gets hurt. He also had a decent return.

I take back what I said about Aiken. Perhaps we should stop sending him deep and use him in the intermediate routes. He delivered big yesterday.

Too bad the same thing cannot be said about Marlon "T-Rex" Brown. Huge guy but bad hands. Sad to see him regress so much. Flacco has a really bad day especially the fumble. Don't they teach it to hold the ball in the outside hand while running. That is really inexcusable. The Miami CB pickup was huge. Perhaps Ozzie can trade for a deep threat now. If Smith/Campanaro are banged up we have no choice at all.

Basically yes. Can't think of a single other player on that roster that would deserve to be more of a building block than he would. You just said it yourself... not much defensive talent to speak of, and you probably don't have the QB either.

Would be pretty awesome to get a new QB in the draft and he walks in day 1 and has an established playmaking WR to throw to...

It is a shame that we gave up the 100 yard rushing streak last night on defense, but I rather have the win so I guess it is all good. I like the way the two Will's played last night on defense.

Also it was bad discipline by #50 (McClellan) in chasing down Bell.

I meant 2012 I said 2013 because I was thinking of the Super Bowl year on accident. Boldin still got open on occasion and I was mainly talking about Torrey Smith and Jacoby Jones. Speedsters aren't necessary to have a successful offense but it helped them get open. Steve Smith isn't that fast anymore but he is tough and gets open all the time for us but he is the only one. Andrew Luck's offensive line was alright until this season and look where the Colts are at... 1-2. That didn't help the argument.

If it makes you feel better we snapped Antonio Brown's streak for 5 receptions for 50 yards which lasted 35 games :) I'll take that trade off especially when I believe Bell is the best running back in the league.

That Leveon TD run just proves how inept the refs are. I remember seeing it live and I saw 3 different occasions where they could have called holding on the play and didn't. Tucker is the most important free agent and needs to get paid. He is vastly underrated. We finally got our underdog back which this team thrives on. Let's get healthy for Cleveland. Go Ravens!

1. Andrew Luck's offensive line was never alright... its been annually amongst the worst in the league for several years now, and generally the defense and running game has been as well.

2. Speed is great when you know how to use it, and when your Oline can block long enough for the QB to deliver down field. That hasn't really happened that well so far this year, guys like Torrey and Jacoby were mostly known for speed, not just getting open.

There are plenty of receivers in this league with "mediocre" speed by NFL standards that can consistently create separation. We don't have any of those guys, and we haven't for quite some time. Steve Smith has actually been better at it this year than last year.

There is a pretty good list of QBs who make bad offensive lines and really bad WRs look really, really, really good.

The Ravens showed out last night, the defense showed up finally and that's a good thing, the offense dropped to many passes that Flacco threw straight to their hands, but Akens showed he could be that other Wide out that we need. Flacco needs to cut out the turnovers all together and tuck the ball when running, for he almost gave the game away if it wasn't for the defense stopping the Steelers. Forsett, I mean what can I say 150 yards and we needed all of that, the guy can flat out run, but we still have a long way to go but this was a smokin start because we beat the Steelers in their house. Injuries took there toll last night with Steve and Camp, hopefully they can be ready to play against the Browns so we can beat them and make this move to the playoffs and ultimately the Superbowl, for I always think the Ravens should be in the Superbowl, I'm just saying!!! GO RAVENS!!!
