In the National Football League, I'm just not so sure that's possible.... Unless you're putting up a 50-burger on a team. then how does that feel... ehhhh... I like the squeakers a little better. Games like last night??? That's Ravens Football. You know, we never do it the easy way.

It's true that most games in the NFL are close and decided by 7 points or less. This isn't really Raven football it is every team. If would be nice to occasionally be able to relax because the off def and special teams are destroying (like that 50 burger) the opposing team.

Go Ravens.

Was just commenting to a friend about the stress of being a ravens fan, that last part of your comment sums it up well

Joe is not only elite, but a first ballot Hall of Famer.

I like what you are doing trying to get as many NEGs as possible or you are just plain crazy lol.

Campanaro was looking a little like Julian Edelman out there.

He has the Welker / Edelman ability but he needs to stay on the field. If he can't stay on the field we can not have w place for him on the team.

The four throw and out at the end of the fourth quarter when Aiken had the ball Jarred loose, they should have called thessafety for hit to a defenseless receiver. If you go back and look he hit Aiken in the head with his shoulder and Aiken looked possibly concussed. That was a serious problem on that blown call. Yes that wrestling tackle from behind by the neck on the Bell not called was terrible and should have never allowed the TD but Aiken had the ball and both the ref and the concussion spotter missed that one. That is unacceptable.

Not sure complaining about the officiating last night is really the route we want to go down... more than a couple calls went our way.

If you all haven't watched the WIRED segment from the locker room after the game last night I encourage you to see it. Seeing the admiration, love and respect the players and Harbaugh have for Coach Brooks brought a tear to my eye. Let's go!!!

1. The entire team deserved this win. all 3 phases and the coaches earned it for bending but not breaking, and deserved a little luck to go our way. 2. Zadarius Smith was big up front, and look for him to be a contributor. 3. Finally, A run game. That was key to this win. Keep pounding O line and Justin. BTW, KO was a huge force up front last night, not only with his play, but he was motivating and leading from the O line, encouraging the RB's all night. 4. J Tuck is our MVP 5. Joe has got to tighten up is game, and make opposing Defenses Job harder. Can't give away the ball each week on our half of the field. He did make some big throws, which were huge, but he really needs to Elevate to another level to get us to Bye week at 4-3.

Side note, If anyone saw Harbs reaction on the sidelines, you can tell how much this win meant to those guys...Good for Ravenation

@ bmoraven I agree, especially the comment about Joe. Joe's footwork has been terrible and his decisions at times have been questionable, do the Ravens have a QB coach this year on staff? Happy for the win, Justin Tucker you the MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh by the way a special thanks should go to Mike Tomlin for all the bad decisions he made. Go Ravens!!!

They always gotta make it so close and damn near give me a heart attack.

But it was so awesome beating them for the second time in a row at Heinz and ruining there little Jerome Bettis celebration.

- refreshing to see the running game get going.

- Aiken came up pretty big with not only the td but the catch that put us in field goal range with less than 20 seconds left. Looked eerily similar to the one in the San Diego game last year, except this time he got out of bounds.

- can't remember who it was but the guy who chased down the Pittsburgh player after the interception saved a touchdown, and they ended up not scoring that drive, little plays like that often get overlooked but are huge.

- pay Justin tucker. One of the only kickers in history that has box office appeal.

- nice rebound game for the secondary. Albeit they were facing a washed up mike Vick, but still much needed and will definitely help their confidence going forward. And either way Antonio brown is no cake walk.

- shame to see the defensive streak of not allowing a 100 yard rusher end- but il trade that for a win against Pittsburgh any day of the week.

lets be real. if big ben was playing, he woulda torched our secondary. their receivers were still wide open. vick is just bad. we got lucky and if we dont improve our coverages, were still looking at a top ten pick in the draft.

Five Thoughts: 1. Difference of the game Justin Tucker vs. Scobee Doo Doo 2. Young guys stepped up Z Smith, Aiken, Waller. 3. Flacco has to stop turning over the football. If we lost. The conversations today would be very different 4. Both coaches tries to make the game about them. Poor decision to get away from letting the players like Tucker or Bell determine the outcome. Just keck the darn ball Harbs. 5. When Ravens have an effective running game, they almost always win. The winning formula in Baltimore never changes.

I'm extremely happy for the win last night, but I think we all know that the Ravens need to send flowers, chocolates and some Itunes gift cards to the St. Louis Rams defense.

1. Hard faught game by both the offense and defense. Thank the Lord the defense showed up ALL GAME because offensively they were struggling. Blitz protection needs to get better immediately!

2. Marlon Brown needs to spend the next week on the juggs machine and learn how to catch.

3. Aiken stepped up big in this game, happy to see!

4. Will Davis for a 7th round pick made some HUGE plays!!

5. Glad it was Vick at QB because Ben wouldn't have missed quite a few of those open receivers.

John do you even watch the game? That interception wasn't a pressure throw. You imply that it was with how you describe it above. That pocket was clean. Unbelievably one of the cleanest because this offensive line has stink, stank, and stunk it up on the field since the first game this season. Joe knew he was going to Steve the whole way. The Steeler's DB sat on the route. In fact a better throw would have been to Marlon Brown who was wide the open down the left side line. Why was he wide open, because the Steeler's DB released him to sit on the SSS route. C'mon Man!

Tucker Automatic is special is all I want to say to honor this first victory. He and he alone was responsible for all of us feeling special the day after.

I keep getting neg'ed for saying our WRs aren't a problem. Let me point out something. Kamar showed up last night. A lot of fans were bad mouthing his ability. In my opinion he showed up because the ball was thrown his way with Smith being out. These guys can get open. Heck with NFL talent it can't be that hard to find a whole in the zone, and with near perfect timing between you and the QB, have a ball thrown your way which you catch. Timing and rapport are problem between Joe and the WRs.

Joe has a tendency to lock on to receiver and constantly throw to him to death, he's done that with Mason, Boldin, Pitta, and now SSS. I realize that these receivers consistently get open but Joe focusing on one target is becoming a liability for interception. The passing game has to become more diverse when it comes down to throwing the ball to our receivers.

With the season on the line the team did not come out with a sense of urgency. Even facing an old back up QB the only reason we won the game was Pitts bad coaching decisions and horrible kicker. Trestman has to learn that he needs to have a run 1st offense, Joe is not Manning or Brady he needs a strong running game. As for Pees...he needs to jump off a tall bridge (just joking) but he has got to go.

Bell rushed for over 100 yards breaking our streak, but it took overtime to do it. After regulation he had 96 yards. But it should have been less, there was a missed holding call on Bells TD run. How do yo miss a guy being tackled and dragged to the ground? When someone rushes for 100 yards in regulation, then they will have broken our record in my eyes. An extra quarter is a lot of time to work with. Anyone can rush for 100 yards given 5 quarters. That's only 20 yards a quarter.

What about Darren Waller showing he could get behind that defense and get open for that 17 yard strike. he looked great on both attempts.

Don't forget Will Davis (here only for a week) showing Arington and Melvin how it's done.

Let me preface this by saying I love Steve Smith. If he's out however it may be a blessing in disguise. Just like on that pick when they basically let Aiken go to swoop around and double Smith everyone knows where the ball is going. After Smith left the game Joe was forced to get the other guys involved and for the most part they stepped up. Instead of the progression always being Smith to checkdown to Forsett. Let's see what these young bucks can do. They'll need the experience come next year. Especially since our assumed future #1 (Maybe getting ahead of myself) may not see the field this year.

Especially when it happens directly in front of the ball carrier ...

I try not to get too caught up in the incompetence of the officials, but I was absolutely livid on that play. At that point in time, we were doing enough self-inflicted harm ... we didn't need any additional help!

Just want to say that we gave the Steelers plenty of "gifts" too, so to say that they gave us the game on their mistakes ( coaching and play calling) is not accurate. The blown 4th down attempts by the Ravens alone were worth 6 points. Not to mention the interception and its return, when we were in Steeler territory. We earned that win with guts, and couldn't be happier for the team and Baltimore.

1. I wouldn't be asking to get guys that didn't play at all back, because the Steelers can ask for them same thing. Two completely healthy teams = we probably lose that game by a couple of TDs.

2. Losing Steve and Campanaro mid-game hurt, but its not like our passing game was dominating anyway.

You reach way too far sometimes trying to play devil's advocate. Our passing game has been dominating when we run the spread offense, even without any speed. Did you watch the game last night? Our backups were getting no separation other than a few plays. Add Perriman, SSS, Gilmore, Camp, Pitta, and we could have torched their secondary, which is horrible. I think we would have beaten them by a couple TDs, even if Roethlisberger was playing, just like we did the last time we played them. We were also playing without our best defensive player. I would gladly take all the players I mentioned and give them their injured players back any day.

I am so glad the Ravens won! It was gratifying to hear the silence in Heinz Stadium after Tucker kicked that final field goal. However, and I sincerely hope I'm wrong about this, but let's face it--the Ravens are in trouble. This was a game in which Tomlin made bad decisions and in which several Steeler drives failed because of mistakes or badly thrown passes by Michael Vick. If Roethlisberger had been the QB--and he will be the next time the two teams play--the game would have never made it to overtime. Bottom line: The Ravens will have to play better than they are right now to finish 8-8.

While I will agree that we are in trouble due to the injuries and lack of depth at WR, I simply will not agree that Big Ben being on the field would have meant an automatic win for the Steelers.  You just never know how these games will turn out.  I for one thought after our defense made Derek Carr look like Tom Brady in week 2 that we were gonna be eaten alive for sure the following week by a much more lethal (regular season) Dalton and co.  Thankfully, it wasn't the slaughterfest of our defense that I feared it would be - although Dalton and AJ Green eventually got the best of us (again) and won the game on an improbable long-range TD pass.  That said, we were still right up there with Cincy to the end and could have won that game.  In fact, all of our losses have been pretty close, and even Oakland is turning out to be a much better opponent than what we thought they were going in.
