Since Zadarius look good in the pass rush department last night it may mean Babin will be inactive again if the other three players you mention are ready to play. I find it hard to believe Babin isn't up to speed by now especially since Will Davis played last night and I like to think players in the secondary have more responsibilities than linebackers.

Babin may have been signed for depth as a backup and not as a starter or perhaps hasn't proven to be better than those used. Anyway, the team made a good choice to start Will Davis at cb.

We have extra days to rest up and have a home game. That is definitely to our advantage now that a brutal part of our schedule is behind us as far as travel and rest is concerned. Get healthy guys! Hopefully, we can now go on a winning streak while we try to improve in areas and start to gain a litlle confidence in the mean time. The team's stress level during that must-win game last night at Pittsburgh had to be at an all-time high.

10 days rest means we probably get back

Monroe(thank god)

SSR(thank god)

Crockett(thank god)

Babin should be more up to speed

Hurst has been playing well given the situation. I don't see Monroe as a better player maybe more athletic

WE WILL DEFEND THIS HOUSE! Elvis and The Purple Gang will triumph over the Brownies and Johnny The Man Seal. A statistician would predict the final score would be a 26-23 victory for Cleveland. I will predict the outcome will be 26-23 in favor of Edgar Allan Poe's Ravens. I would predict a more lop-sided for us were it not for our erratic play on both sides of the ball at times.

A bit of last century wisdom: Never count your chickens before they hatch.

We were suppose to be .500 going into the Bengals game...

I think Smith's sacks had more to do with the secondary than his pass rush. Happy for him, but Vic had time back there. 1 might have been coverage and the other on his ability.

How did you even post this? Aren't threads locked during games? WARLOCK!!

They open this thread at the 2 min warning. He was so sure we were going to lose.

edit: Nevermind. That is the other thread. Hmmm....I concur! Warlock! His negativity is a curse on the team! It's all his fault! :P

Except they were ACTUAL fans of the team they were watching.

I've never been one to guess what the season record will be nor the score of a game before it is played. Probably just my mentality but it seems like such a pointless endeavor. I'll just wait and see and hope for the best.

To each his own!

According to PFF going into last nights game Wagner and Hurst were the two worst tackles in the league.

-2.8 for Wager and -2.3 for Hurst

Stil pretty terrible. Doesn't take much beyond an eye test.

I heard on football today podcast, that last year we were number one in yards before contact for offensive line, this year we were 2nd to last I believe

The Browns play the Chargers a 4:05 Sunday. Hopefully the network airs the game here so we can have a look before the Ravens play them.

Surprisingly, WJZ in the Baltimore area will be showing this game. Not sure why they wouldn't show KC/Cincy in the 1pm window, but I've got the Ticket so I don't really watch network games much anymore.

Nothing in the 1pm window, but you get to watch Dolphins/Jets in the AM.

They were clearly over matched against Denver's Duo, Oakland wasn't much better, then the Bengals put another hurting on them. Hopefully, they will come out of this as much better players with more experience and ability.

Going into last night they were -20.0 and -25.7 respectively

even Eugene struggles against James Harrison so no big surprise Flacco got destroyed last night. We should be able to run on the Browns, they tend to struggle stopping the run.

Lets hope.  They do have a good secondary, but I do believe we beat the Browns.

It perplexes me that the NFL/TV stations haven't caught on to the fact that they should play all of our division rivals games when we're playing at a different time.  I would watch all of them.

Stood up the whole 4th and OT

Not sure what happened with Hurst.  Lis Franc injuries are no joke.  Same with Jimmy, they're still on the mend
