Anyone else SHOCKED we didn't make another move at WR yet whether it be a trade, FA, or PS call up? We only have 4 WR's active right now and 1 of them has only been on the team for a few days. What if somebody get's banged up in the game Sunday?  We're going to play the game with 3 WR's and nobody can ever take a breather? Makes no sense to me.

I feel like Ozzie has been on the horn trying to get another trade done for somebody like Alshon/Roddy/Tate and the other GM's know we're desperate so they're trying to rob us blind, but as we all know Ozzie doesn't just unload picks recklessly, even if we are desperate. My guess is Ozzie wants to see how this Browns game goes and if we have a good showing he'll be more likely to trade a high draft pick if it means saving a potential playoff season. If we lose Ozzie will essentially look to retain our assets and not make a big trade if the season is going downhill fast. I know it's a gamble if he tests FA but Alshon is just such a homerun with Trestman/Flacco... fingers really crossed we win this game and we see that trade next week.

If we want to trade, sign, or bring up somebody, somebody needs to get cut from the active roster. Guys like Steve Smith and Perriman still count towards the 53 unless they are placed on IR.

Drafted 2008

Missed two full years

30 yrs old

until this year had never cracked 200 yds for a season.

Looks like McCowns bail out guy.

Don't think the TE will beat us. Much more worried about the quick dinks to their backs.

Plays with a lot of grit. Very fundamentally sound. Deceptive speed

A real lunch pail type of guy

Not shocked at all. Sr isn't done for the year and neither is Perriman. So it's not like the Ravens are really hurting at WR. At the end of the day these guys need the chance to prove themselves. As for only having 4WRs active, the Ravens have only used 4 WRs in every game and the top 3 have dominated the snaps. Camp played more against the Steelers but in the 3 games prior he nor Waller were used much. So i really don't see the need for a 5th WR especially when you have to cut someone to get it.

Aiken and Brown will play a ton and i expect to seebthe TEs and Juice used a lot as well.

In a battle of FGs, Ravens will win by a score of 26-23 and without receivers SSS, Campanero, Gillmore and Perriman. This game is all about the Jimmy and Joes, not the Xs and the Os.

we're not gonna use 3 WRs set all game, remember it's 1 ball, we have 3 good TE's, 3 RBs, & juice, that can catch the ball too. and plus jeffery is injured, if ozzie gonna trade he will wait until late october/ early nov. that's when teams will know for sure if they can still make to the playoffs or start unloading some players off their roster, then ozzie will hit the sale. for now i dont think we trade for anyone.

This game will most will be won by the running game. O line will have to do their job. Same for our d line. No pressure means Benjamin goes off. Something that hasn't been mentioned much, is the job our guys are doing against TEs. Been locking them down.

Unfortunately I think we lose...not one to get too excited about that Steelers win bc I feel they did more to lose then we did to win...the Steelers game also showed what the first 3 games showed...we are struggling to move the ball and the defense can't be trusted...

This is a winnable game...and going 2-3 would really make me start buying in to the "maybe we're back" mentality but these holes we have aren't just inconsistencies they're big freaking problems..

If the Browns stop the run I have NO IDEA how we're moving the ball on Sunday.i hope I'm wrong cause I'll be there at the game.

Good thing McCown is starting. We need to keep Travis Benjiman in check. Manziel would buy time to get him the ball. I'm scared Benjiman is going to torch our secondary

So you don't think that those 2 fourth quarter stops by the defense did what needed to be done to win?  We'd have lost had it not been for that.  With 2:20 left, we give the ball back to the Steelers, and stop them leaving 1:36 on the clock for us to get back downfield... Yeah, their kicker missed two FG, but I'm not taking that away from our guys stepping up.

The Browns have the worst run D in the league.  So, I'm thinking you just may be.

Have Faith....  and Believe....

how did the steelers game show the defense can't be trusted? I mean they made several huge stops and basically shut Antonio brown down. Yes they were without Ben -but containing mike Vick is no small task and we did a pretty darn good job doing it.

Offense:

- Lean heavily on the run game

- Joe needs to take care of the football. No careless interceptions

Defense:

- Pin your ears back and attack McCown! Blitzes galore.

- Limit penalties

I'm calling it now, Marlon Brown is going to have a good game vs the Browns!!

Last time he played them with this big a role, he scored twice. Unfortunately, that's the only game we've lost to the Browns the past seven seasons. Hopefully, he does well again and it spurs the team to a win this time around.

Our D-line is our best unit imho but can Not Give josh mcown time because he will shred the secondary.

Will be tough to get pressure against that line.

I'd like to see Jernigan come out strong. He seems to love putting a whooping on QBs but hasn't really gotten one this year... yet.

Vick is done and let's not sugar coat it. If Ben was playing we'd have been down 30-7 by half-time.

Those 2 big stops? At least one was a poor play call going to the pass for one yard instead of relying on Bell.

The defense at least looked like they cared, they weren't slugging around like zombies out there. That at least is something to build on.

Under normal circumstances, predicting a Ravens dominant win is a curse. But that doesn't count against the Browns, because they're the Browns. From Cleveland. They'll do Browns things.

We could play our most horrible football, but they'll be the Browns which gives us a chance to win.

So yes, I expect a solid game.

Ravens - 31

Browns - 15 ((I'm being realistic about our defense, we'll give them yards, but they'll get 5 field goals))

My dream scenario would be Flacco breaking Manning's TD record with "no name" receivers.

Time to wake up, dude.

Or at least let me use one of those shares dreaming devices from Inception to take part in this glorious fantasy.

I wonder how often a team has played an NFL game with zero active wide receivers who have a number in the 80s.

I thought Vick looked good.  He faded a bit at the end, but played well overall.

The d was the least of our problems last game. People seem to keep forgetting how awful the offense was. If Haden is playing, this could be a long game if the run game doesn't get going.

I know a way we can take the browns off guard, i say we come out swinging. Lets see if chris givens has what it takes to really burn them, they wouldnt see it coming i think. Lets utilize what could be the biggest dark horse coming into this game.

not a Terrible idea. The Browns will be expecting us to ground and pound without Steve and co. So we may be able to catch them sleeping if we take some shots early.

Basic verticle aint that hard to execute, even though we finally have a deep threat. We need to make them respect it first.

I'm more pumped for this weekends game than I've been for a regular season game in a long time.

Going with my wife, brother and sister-in-law... And ready to see the start of our turn around.

Blackout with the breast cancer accessories is going to look badddddddd.... Something about the all black just makes us more scary.

Can't wait. Go Ravens!
