Being realistic would be celebrating the win and acknowledging NO game against PIT is ever beautiful or graceful or impressive.

True, but there's always room for improvement, we still gotta ways to go. This was the 1st step in any possibility of a come back and sometimes you need a little luck to get the ball rolling. 

 

Also sometimes wins over Pit are beautiful, graceful and impressive like that one opening game in 2011.

Got the Browns and 49ers coming up.  If we play decently, we can be 3 - 2 going into the Cardinals game, that we'll probably get crushed in.  Cards is followed by 3 home games and a bye in the middle.

 

Going to be in interesting couple of months ahead of us.

If Ben was playing then most likely defense would have had  a different game plan. It's really no telling how good they would have played if Ben was there.

They are complaining about winning against a back up qb, who was a starter for the better part of his career. We traditionally suck against back ups already. We won with 2 Undrafted young guys and a 6th round rookie at receiver. Get over it, every team has there problems.

They didn't dial up anything more aggressive than prior games....the players and coaches did their job. Players at least tried to make some effort this time. Their technique and effort was there.

Exactly. Theres still a issue in the secondary. He didn't change much and the problems are still there. Just hoping they improve as the season progresses.

I'm just disappointed that we didn't improve in this game. We REALLY looked awful in this game. Would rather lose a game clean than win with luck, the opponents best player out, and their kicker missing 5 field goals straight. Just saying, we didn't prove anything.

 

Our run game looked drastically improved as did our pass defense.

 

Flacco still looked awful out there.

Campanero played well and I'm glad to see Waller out there getting chances.

The good - We got our 1st win! 

The bad - I absolutely hate the Ravens sluggish and lethargic offense!  It takes them too long to heat up!  I hate it!

 

The ugly - The win itself!  2 turnovers by Joe, 2 missed FG's by Scobee.  What are the "odds" that a kicker will miss 2 FG's in O.T. leaving the door open for the offense to score?  But, I'll take the ugly win over a pretty loss any day!
