The same way most teams win on Thursday night games, we played less poorly than our opponents.

Camp is going to IR.

(Multiple reports on Twitter) .

We going to have some serious WR issues to solve this offseason

it's funny bc going into the season most ppl thought we were absolutely stacked at wide receiver. Edited by January J

Sorry if this is old news, but I just learned that apparently Justin Tucker is the only kicker to have made two field goals of over 50 yards in Heinz Field.

It makes PFT's ridiculous statement a little more understandable.

The Steelers would be wise to call G.M. Ozzie Newsome and say “name your price”

Lol probably the only people who thought that were the Ravens wide receivers.

The GOOD: Boyle, playing with Heart, Talent, and Skill-give this guy more Playing Time

The Bad : Marlon Brown dropping another pass, looking disinterested, give this guy Less Playing time

The Ugly: Taking 3 points off the board with that Horrible fake Fg call

I know. I don't remember what I said, but I do recall believing the WR corps was pretty solid. Man do I feel stupid now.

Yeah I was really hyped about Aiken. Damn was I wrong. Not saying he's was bad but even I envisioned him as the starter. Like the next Boldin.

Because we got in the endzone and kicked the ball through the uprights more.

Didn't they do that too?

We won. That's good. Who cares if it was ugly? We've played ugly every game and been in a position to win each one.

Also good - the defense made stop after stop. Forced FG's instead of TDs.

Will Davis - a very good start. Only allowed one reception in his 30 snaps. Looked pretty good in coverage. He really helps the rotation in keeping Arrington away from the outside.

And then there's Forsett and the run game. We needed to get on track here. It's the key to everything. We're going to be in close games so hopefully we can now lean on the run game to grind out 1st downs and keep possession of close out a game in the 4th qtr. Keeps the defense fresh when need to make stops in the 4th quarter.

The bad - Flacco turning the ball over. The interception and fumble were both bad, easily avoidable mistakes.

Also bad... Injuries to SSS and Camp.

Decision making by the coaches was awful, but thankfully not as bad as Tomlin's. If we would've just taken the FG instead of that stupid trick play we probably would've won in regulation. The offense finally had some momentum, and that play seemed to kill it.

We still don't know what this team is. We could easily be anywhere from 4-0 to 0-4 and everything in between.

Good news is this could be a building block for the defense and run game. If we can establish any semblance of a passing game we can make a run. Luckily we have a stretch of games that are well set up to do it.

I can see a 9-3 finish to end the season 10-6. If we can grind out 3 of the next 4 we might then have all of SSS, Perriman, Gillmore, maybe Pitta and Urban coming back.

If were in the conversation at that point I think we become the hottest team in football going into the playoffs.

I thought the fake field goal was a good idea. There was plenty of running room if the tackler doesn't make the outstanding play. However, the missed points nearly cost the game. Lucky for Harbs, because I wouldn't want to see this board had the Ravens lost, lol.

I think we all felt that way.

But we believed what we saw - them playing well against what we thought was a much improved secondary.

We didn't know that even Michael Crabtree could abuse this secondary (oddly Anonio Brown couldn't) and that it was a poor metric to use.

and to be honest, I don't think the WR's are AS bad as we think. They're bad, but I think Joe only had trust in SSS and continually locked in on him and never looked elsewhere.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the game SSS leaves hurt that Aiken finally plays like we were expecting. I think it's a trend that continues now.

You weren't wrong. What other team in the league would be comfortable after losing #1, #2 and one backup?

Yeah, but I think I was. Granted, injuries have taken a toll on the corps, but I just thought Aiken and Brown would do so much better.

Brown's been very disappointing but Aiken showed up few times and made plays. My hope is they both improve with extra snaps they are going to get. If Givens can stretch secondaries few times, we might just survive until senior is back.

Pittsburgh's inability to kick a FG. We should be 0-4.

But Flacco and the offense's inability to score TDs and Tucker's ability to kick FGs helped secure the W. smh

Now with SSS out, the real story on Aiken and Brown will become known.

I still say that the fumble wasn't recovered. The dude's right foot wasn't down from the camera angles I saw.

AL the ones during the game showed both feet down.

I don't think anyone thought we were stacked. I think most agreed we'd be alright, but if someone went down, mainly SSS, there could be huge concerns and that was if Perriman was playing. Depth has always been a problem and many acknowledged that.

no kiddin, I was already envisioning all the "fire harbs" post bc surely if we lost it would've been blamed on that call.
