[News] Game Highlights: Ravens vs. Steelers

Joe got out played by a guy who was sitting at home. Joe should buy the defense lunch except the defense gave the last game up.

When the Ravens got the ball before the 2 minute warning with a chance to win the game, was by far the worst series and  choice of play calling I've ever seen by the Ravens.  It was 1st and 10 and they had four chances to get ten yards.  On every play they threw the ball trying to get all of it at once.  Why not take a short pass and set up 2nd/3rd and short, giving them a much easier and better percentage chance at getting the first down.  Long passes aren't going to work when Steve Smith was out and no other receivers have good ability to get open. They had plenty of time and a time out remaining.  Made no sense not to dink and dunk down the field and at least get in field goal range to tie or possibly get a TD to win.  This game wouldn't of went to overtime with smarter play calling and situation coaching.  Harbaugh is a great coach but what was he thinking!

Great win way to go Ravens. You all displayed true grit out there on the field. No please go out and sign an available wide receiver for some veteran depth. Give Reggie Wayne a call Ozzie.

Joe didn't get outplayed. The offensive line allowed Joe to be hit and sacked all night long. Not to mention wide receivers having trouble getting open. What game is this guy below commenting on.

Some fans are just not paying attention to the entire game. After Joe turned the ball over, our play calling was scary conservative. They kept running on 1st down. The steelers knew we were going to run it on first down so they stuffed it the majority of the time which forced us into obvious passing situations. The play calling made it extra tough on Flacco.

Another thing. It still feels like they hold Flacco back in this offense. If Flacco were in an offense like Green Bay's or Denver's people would really see just how good we have it in Baltimore.

last time my heart was beating this hard and fast was the last drive against the 49iners on our super bowl run. even against the patriots last year it wasn't as bad, i didn't think flacco would get picked off i thought for sure we had the game. Anyway, Marlon Brown with the drops, Aiken too had one or two but he came up big for us to setup the field goal. my thoughts are, we NEED a RELIABLE target along side SSS. Are the fans the only ones to see that he won't make it to the end of the season in one piece???? Lastly, GOOD JOB ON THE DEFENSIVE SIDE! Flacco twice put the team in awful positions but the defense kept us right there

@HrdCoreRaven,  Robert Meachem if Lloyd isn't available, he's on the list too and he's second to Lloyd stats wise

Honestly we could use them both. Who knows how long we will be without Camp and Smith. Hopefully the ravens take a deep look at both players, they would stretch the field big time. Our running game is suffering because teams are playing 8 man in the box.
