Good to hear.  This thread is going to be hijacked though.

Nahhh...  won't let it...  We have to let the negative Nelly's come in, but it won't get hijacked.

Great news to help ease the Sunday hangover.
I said he'd debut between week 4-8 a long time ago, it looks like it might be in the early portion of that window - week 4-5.

Let's get it Perriman!

A couple of weeks ago I saw a clip of Perriman walking and his gait looked awkward or tentative to me. If Perriman has started running recently, that's very encouraging indeed. Let's hope Perriman has solid progression physically from here on out. Looking forward to the day when Perriman can take the field after getting back in his comfort zone with the plays.

Very good news. We need someone dynamic on this offenses his speed will give us that. Just hoping he's actually good.

I've said all along the Cleveland game. If he's starting to run, he'll need at least a full week of practice before playing and the Steelers game will be on a short week, so i'm not sure he plays in that one. The team will have 10 days between Pit and Cle to get Perriman up to speed with the offense enough to trust him in game situations.

Oh wow! Now we have a WR that has started running! How pleasing! Come on guys, Perriman is not a guy we can depend on considering he's not had much practice with the team. It'll take him at least 4-6 games to get up to speed!

Good point, totally forget the game against the Steelers is on Thursday. Yeah man, he might not make it there, Cleveland is where my bet is at. Thankfully Cleveland is not formidable.

I don't think thats the case. If he can play well in practice and show out then why can't he play? Babin will be taking the field after merely three practices. Besides, he played in a Pro Style offense in college, playing in a system like this shouldn't be too tough on him. Obviously he needs to get up to speed but having the presence of a burner there just helps the offense a ton.

Edit:Looks like Babin won't play today, but he was close.

They are better than us right now. Man it hurts to say that is this true. I think I'm going to be sick

Get on the field soon Perriman. We need you badly!

Even if we're 0-4 at the time, you and Flacco can get some good chemistry down for next season!

I cant remember where i posted something about BP but i will again.  Before this game i think most of us thought we would be ok until BP came back and viewed his production as just a bonus once he did get on the field, with no real hurry to develope.  After watching today, i think its the exact opposite now, we have absolutely no one that scares defenses.  Now when BP gets back we will be relying on him, he will have to step up right away instead of us being patient...

This season and our absolute demand for a playmaker/game changer is going to do 1 of 2 things to BP.

Make him rise to occasion and beast it!

OR

Put too much pressure on him and his play takes a hit. Ultimately, hurting him and us long term.

I honestly think he contributes immediately. I just hope that they are letting him fully heal before putting him back on the field.

His play on the field... They just need to go shotgun and send him deep. Even if he doesn't catch it at least the defense will respect his speed after that, it's a win win

I'm wondering if when he does return do we throw him into the fire and start him immediately as the #2 over kamar Aiken? Or do we gradually ease him in? Kinda torn on this 1

I'd gradually work him onto the field.  He hasn't been available for practice since the 1st day of training camp.
