Hurricane coming to NC MD PA NJ DE

I am making this thread to alert people S&S Storm chasing as well as NWS and the NHC are predicting between a Category 3 and 4 landfall  October 4th or 5th for the mid Atlantic and upper southern states . Please take caution and keep alert to the news  and your weather app . This storm could pack quite a punch.   This thread is made so that we can all keep each other informed as the storm progresses and makes landfall. Lets all hope the euro model is what it follows but I got a gut feeling it wont be...

Folks need to take this one really seriously up there...

It's supposed to be a CAT 3 when it passes us here in FL....  PLEASE PREPARE....  PLEASE BE SAFE!

It is a category 3 right now, looks like they have it weakening a good amount before a possible landfall but should definitely keep an eye on this one as a lot of different things can happen.

Ha, its gonna stay out in the Atlantic. We'll get some rain and that's about it. Typical weathermen making the locals go crazy!

Folks here poo poo'ed Charley....  Then came Daniel, then came Frances, when it was time for Jeanne, people started listening.  That about sums up our Summer of 2004....

Forget the path of the hurricane for now. In NC we're supposed to have flash floods this weekend even before the potential for the hurricane hitting. If the hurricane comes on top of the 8 solid days of rain we've already had - even if we don't take a direct hit and just get heavy bands of rain - we could be looking at some pretty significant issues with flooding.

Never forget it, that's for sure.

Yeah when Charley turned and intensified, it caught a lot of people off guard. Too early to tell where this goes(could go from hitting North Carolina to staying out at sea, very wide area that this could go) but just gotta pay attention over the next couple days.

Bahamas getting hit by it now

I've had several inches of rain the last couple of days and the Weather Channel is saying another 3-5 for tomorrow. Put a hurricane on top of that I expect a flooded basement.

While it has intensified to a category 4, it is starting to look like it is going to stay out at sea or brush Nova Scotia/Newfoundland as a strong TS.

I hope it doesn't reach up here near Harrissburg. I have a home ultimate frisbee tournament. Wind makes those games really rough as you can imagine.
