All I needed was 1.1 points from John Brown in a PPR league. Not happy about that one

That is painful. You'd think it'd be a guarantee.

Yeah, rough deal. Like I said in the other thread, I thought you had that one in the bag long ago.

You win some, you lose some. I guess I can't say I am lucky and I can't say I am unlucky as I am now 2-2 in these close games lol. I do get to face my other close loss though next week, we tied the game but apparently Flea Flicker doesn't do those and gave him the win as he had more bench points. Yeah may get a little payback there and then hopefully I can win against my main rival in my divison the next week.

In my other league I've been in first place for six or seven weeks (first in scoring, there's another guy who's probably going to overtake me this week but it's daylight after that), but the guy I've been tied with is a division rival who's only sixth in scoring (12-team league). I've been waiting for his luck to finally run out and give me the clear top spot, but he's still been barnacling his way to wins every week because he's had the fewest points scored against him by some way.

Instead this week I get both my starting RBs on a bye while Dez and Orange Julius do nothing for me so I've posted my worst score since probably week one (where I face said division rival...).

At least I get my second shot at him next week and the matchups look far kinder for me.

Frustrating is a good word. Our three-time champion (also a division rival) started making his run a few weeks ago, and managed to get the #1 pick on the waiver wire to get both Charcandrick West and James Starks. Ozzie help us all.

Looking at making a trade. I think I'm probably giving too much, but I'm trading with my dad and his record is lackluster so trying to help him out as well. lol

At HB, I have TJ Yeldon, Forsett, Gurley. Nice trio.

At WR, I have Antonio Brown, D. Hopkins, Allen Hurns/Robinson, Marshall

I was looking at trading Forsett, Robinson, and Brandon Marshall for Devonta Freeman and Antonio Gates.

I figure Gates will be a big target for Rivers moving forward with all the injuries.

I get an awesome combo of Freeman and Gurley. And a solid TE alongside Gilmore. He gets a HB in return and two starting WR's.

I feel like giving up Forsett isn't much of a risk considering the Ravens O.

I'm trying to help him out at receiver.

His starters this week; Brandon Coleman, Fitzy, James Jones. Yikes. lol

Where the Mark Ingram Owners at? Dude rips off a 70 yard run finishes the game with like 5/77 with 2/13 receiving. I know the Saints were getting torched but to me he is 1B to Drew Bree's 1A on offense and he could have made a difference with more touches.

At this point I hope Sean Peyton does leave the Saints bc they need someone who will feed their top RB and quit it with all the rotational nonsense, Cj Spiller and Khiry Robinson aint no Darren Sproles. Ingram can catch the ball out of the backfield just fine too. He could be a top 10 RB if they would just give him the damn ball.

Ingram has delivered for me more often than not, but it is frustrating when they're doing a running back by committee and you know Ingram can dominate a game on his own. He could be putting up the types of numbers Dion Lewis was.

Forgive me guys but I need to gloat a bit - some tough matchups coming, this may be my only opportunity. First time this week I chalked W in all 4 leagues I'm playing. Leading at the moment in two, tied for 1st in one and even have the outside chance of making a playoff in the league that looked all but done for me just couple weeks ago. Hope I'll do better than Bungles come playoff time.

On the other hand, I'm a total failure in both pick 'em leagues. Can't pick to save my life.

Well, starting Hurns this week was a bad call. I should have known it would be. He's been dealing with nagging injuries all year, but he usually got a week to rest up with limited practice before the next game. However, this week they had a Thursday game and that kinda ruined things.

If it makes you feel any better, I was also burned this Thursday, though it was by Dorial Green-Beckham. Figured he'd be in line for a better night with two receivers missing and a shaky secondary to take advantage of.

Yea even with his carries and snaps taken away he has been pretty consistent for nearly every game this season, if he doesn't get a TD he gets 80-100 total yards....but dude could be a top 5 RB with an uptick in usage.

Was hoping A-Rob would have a bigger game last night...but he came through again and has been ULTRA CONSISTENT this season. Dude made 5 catches and all of em were head turners.

I remember when he was in 60-70% of mock drafts onn these boards when he was taken in the 2nd round in '14, couldn't imagine having him on our squad.

Yea I was CLOSE to starting him but I feel like he is a little banged up, thought he wouldn't play against us last week due to injury but he did and he took several big hits and even took a few more crushing hits last night, I feel like he is probably hurtin.

All week the experts were saying that Derek Carr would be the best start you can possible make due to the matchup. Like an idiot for the second week in a row I benched Palmer for Carr thinking he'd really take advantage of dealing with a weaker defense. Instead Carr got less than 10 points in my standard league.

Jordan Reed also turned out to be a bust.

I benched Alfred Blue because I figured he'd run into a brick wall against the Jets. Instead he almost tripled the scores of Devonta Freeman and Frank Gore. My highest-scoring RB this week is Antonio Andrews. Thankfully Russell Wilson and the Seahawks defence are taking command atm.

I don't want to celebrate this much, because it comes with horrible circumstances all around, but since this league I'm in is a keeper league I thought I'd pick up Buck Allen a couple of weeks ago as a value starter when we move on from Forsett. I'd drop him if it meant we could have Forsett and Flacco healthy for the rest of the year, but that decision paid off at least.

I started Flacco this week and Forsett...Forsett was well on his way to a big game but instead combined with Flacco for about 10pts

Charcandrick West is plodding it up against a typically soft SD run D too, my 10 game win streak is unfortunately coming to an end on a week we lose 2 great Ravens too

Benched Doug Martin after he crapped the bed the last 3 weeks. Started Danny Woodhead instead... 35 points vs. 1 point
