Yeah the big tournaments are tough. One or two changes are the difference from $3 and $3000. 50/50 and head to head are a better bet to win but obviously lower prize.

Which would you recommend if you're looking for the big score?

Ive been holding onto desean Jackson for awhile now but he's starting to look like trade bait to me. Should I hold onto him in hopes he returns soon and lights it up or try to salvage something for an already weak wr corps for this week? Got Emmanuel sanders but he's on a bye week. Also just picked up tavon Austin but I'm looking for somebody to pair with him this week. Willie sneed and Riley cooper are available on the waiver wire but not too sure about them either.

I'd prefer Snead as far as the waiver wire goes. He's been very solid thus far and relatively consistent. I'd wait until Jackson plays until dangling him on the hook, unless you've already received offers for him.

Well I'm no expert and have never hit one of the big scores though I've been maddeningly close with some lineups. I did hear some expert advice this week that it could be a good bet to try the Thursday/England game because less people will enter it and it might not reach the entry limit giving you a better chance to place. I have one a go but I must say I'm not too confident in the lineup.

I agree on Sneed. Especially in ppr he's the best Saint to own.

What is it with 25 yard receptions this week? LeSean McCoy fumbles at the 1 after a 25 yard gain. Ben Watson is tackled at the 1 twice after his 25 yard gains. Wow! Great job. I pulled Lamar Miller from two line ups today. Terrible move. Keenan Allen and DeAndre Hopkins did me in.

I screwed myself and dropped Rishard Mathews and added Brandon Lafell at the last possible minute, who was just activated from the pup and it ended up costing me a 12 point swing. Lafell played god awful and had like 5 drops. That's what I get for going with a player from the patriots. But it's all good bc I still have a chance to salvage the win all I need is flacco to throw ONE touchdown pass tonight. That's not too much to ask for is it? Well ..

That's about as brutal of a performance from a WR that I can recall. It could be a shoot out tonight so I'd be surprised if he doesn't come away with a score.

I was a bit surprised when Palmer wasn't my highest scoring fantasy player this week. Figured he'd have amazing stats from this game. But instead that honor went to the Rams' Defense and Gurley was a close second.

lol yep I got pretty lucky on that one. I needed 7 points so I haven't checked if I still would've won without the td but it would have been extremely close without it, esp after the interception at the end. Thought I had it on that pass to givens that he barely missed- started to get a little worried after that and thought it wasn't gonna be in the cards. How bad would it have sucked if we scored a td on that last drive though and then failed to get the two point conversion? That woulda been typical Ravens right there.

Ah, you certainly would've still won then. True, that one hurt for variety of reasons. Definitely, but sadly it wouldn't have hurt too much more considering how close we were to the TD.

Yeah, I had to play against Brady and Gronk this week. Dion Lewis basically cancelled out Gronk (damn near the exact same score between the two) but Brady gave the other guy a fairly big advantage. I'm hoping Palmer has a hell of a game in Cleveland to counter that.

I have to hope all 3 my RBs, Senior and Flacco do really well and most of the rest of the opposing team bombs. This is my last tiny chance to make playoffs in that league.

 

I feel like I'm going to hate NE even more after this week is done.

Left Dion Lewis on the bench, it was either him or Chris Johnson for the FlEX and CJ has the better matchup...feeling like this ones gonna come back to haunt me, CJ gonna endup getting vultured by Ellington and have a midrange type of day.

I started Palmer over Brees this week. While Palmer got 28 points, Brees racked up 46. I'll be gutted if it costs me. I also started Dalton over Palmer in one league (forgot to change it before the game started) but thankfully I look to have one that match up anyway.

This week could potentially suck for me. The other guy had Brady and Gronk. Thankfully Dion Lewis and and Palmer got basically the same number of points as those two. I would probably be in good position to win if my TE actually did alright. Bennet only got 39 yards. And now I'm behind by a couple of points.

 

I still have Thomas left to play, and they have Sanders and Jonathan Stewart. Right now my only real chance of for Thomas to snap out of his funk and be the guy that scores touchdowns for the Broncos tonight. Worst part is, it looks like I'll be the second highest scoring team this week in my league, but I'll end up losing to the team with the highest score.
