[News] Late For Work 9/30: Don't Get Hopes Up For Alshon Jeffery, Matt Forte Trades

It maybe time for Ozzie to step down and go out on a high note before it's too late. I think Decosta can handle his job. Just saying.

Decosta could handle his job but don't forget who is the Mentor and who is the Protege. It's in Ozzie we trust

This season is going down with these watabee players whether the fans or Stephen B likes it or not. This is finally Johns model of a NFL team.No more Ray, Edd or Suggs.

"Perriman strangest injury of year" ... it's a dead heat between Perriman and Monroe .... Dammit we really gotta win this weekend.

I don't understand Harbs saying "I have no idea what you're talking about," when asked about Perriman's injury. It is obvious the guy isn't playing. I think the fans have a right to know what's going on.

When Flacco throws off his back foot and 'floats' the ball into the end zone we're done. All the defenses know he throws the ball up for grabs and we have no receivers that can go up for the ball. Easy pick opportunity. His performance against Cincy was good enough to win that game and Cincy knows it but we had the ball at the end and should have put it away.

Who is Perriman? Never saw him and never heard of him... Does anyone know who Perriman is? Maybe Ozzie knows...

I 100% agree with Bedard's assessment on flacco- this is why he's not elite (no offense, Joe).

When you're paid as much as Joe gets paid, you're expected to NOT end each of the last four games with an INT.

don't remember him ending the game with an interception last week? I remember him throwing 2 4th quarter tds and giving us the lead within the last 4 minutes requiring only one defensive stop to win the game. ( which was eerily similar to the week before). He also started to drive the ball down the field and converted a 4th down on the final drive only to be pushed back by another dumb penalty that made the down pretty much out of reach.and STILL gave us a chance and put the ball 50 yards downfield in maxxs hands only to be dropped. I'd say joe has done his part. He has put us in the position to win every single game so far.

Ya, I'm starting to get a bit perturbed that not only is Perriman not playing but Harbs has these ridiculous answers to it all. Harbs seems to have this "Us against them" mentality and "Them", are Ravens fans. Since we pay all of their salaries, I believe we should be treated a little better than 2 yr olds wanting a cookie before dinner.

Now, we bring in Babin and Mums the word on him too???

You're not going to garner a lot of support with that attitude towards the fan base.

You live by the sword.......

Umm no. They care about PR on issues that require PR.

Giving fans daily updates about an injured player has absolutely nothing to do with Public Relations. Its why team websites rarely post the information online... its typically beat writers who attend practice and tweet or write about what players were "limited" (which nobody even knows what this means), and when they say something wrong or speculate about it, most teams completely ignore this and don't bother to correct them, because they simply don't care.

If NFL teams weren't required to divulge injury information to the NFL, there's a pretty good chance fans would know nothing about who's injured or who's not.

Once again you're wrong. This is not about daily updates and this is not about your garden variety injury. The way the Ravens (Harbaugh) have handled this from day one is a PR stunt gone awry. Harbaugh likes to think he can say what he wants in the manner in which he wants and that's that. Well, for some it's unacceptable and it's a pathetic way in which to handle this specific situation. This equates to bad PR and they (Harbaugh) need to strongly consider their next PR move and how they handle future PR situations, topics and events. PR is not simply about Damage Control as you seem to suggest. I could be wrong on that one but regardless, this is all about PR. Not quite sure how that's lost on you as you seem to be a relatively intelligent person. If it's for the sake of debate, then I get it. lol

I'm thinking that if we lose tonight that Ozzie will pretty much see this season as a wash and won't attempt to salvage anything. If we win, especially considering it looks like perriman won't be returning anytime soon, I think Ozzie goes and gets us a playmaker , probably an offensive weapon (wide receiver ) and that may give us a boost to get back above .500. Just a theory of mine.
