I can't say undeserved. Ugly sure. Made their mistakes. Took advantage of Steeler mistakes, failed to at times. But didn't show zero effort at the end - kept fighting and pulled it out.

Yea not undeserved. We made mistakes so did the Steelers. It was ugly on both sides. We made the final play. That's all.

Ok so now we've lost 3 games while playing the worst possible football. Now we've won one in the same fashion.

The next 2 are very winnable if we can play even slightly better and then were right back in this thing.

That'd be 3-3, 2-1 in the division with the tie breaker over Pitt.

If you had given me that preseason id have put that right in the bank.

I think Scobee and my unending inebriated optimism won us this game.

It was inebriation by committee! I believe me pausing my TV at crucial times actually won this game for us!

He has a lot of good qualities but time management in the final two minutes and closing out close games has never been his strong suit. Season saver for you guys. Have to admit, from where i sit it was more about our failure to execute than anything.

Successful franchises and fan bases don't get "embarrassed" or "ashamed". Thats more about your feelings of over identifying with the team.

Tucker would have kicked that another 10 yards, easily. When I saw it was 52 yards. I was actually sure he would make it. Ugly win but hey, it's a hard fought win. Wasn't pretty, hats off to the defense for getting 2 stops in a row.

The defense made the necessary stops. The run game got going. That's 2 big pieces that looked better.

You're right that if SSS misses any time we need to pull a trade for Alshon or something similar. But if he's ok, and Joe can play mistake free football we can definitely win the next 2.

Once you've got 3 wins (assuming the next 2 come in slightly better fashion) then we get on a roll.

If you saw better than 4-3 after the first 7 games you were kidding yourself. If we get to 3-4 or 4-3 it won't be a confident 4-3, but we'll at least be in good shape if we can play even marginally better.
