Lol to all who want them to play Perriman when he is clearly not ready so he can injure his knee even more and be on IR.

It's time this team takes a chance and give up some draft picks for a proven WR. Our drafts havent been stellar to say the least. FO has ignored this position too long and we are paying for it.

it's not the offense that's losing the games. Great Ravens now score 45 the other team scores 46.

Its time we make a trade to get a wide receiver now! Hell why not give up a 5th or 6th to SF and bring  Anquan Boldin back. Even at his age he is better than Brown and Aiken.

Haha.

Do you think they'd take Schaub for Q, I hear their QB sucks big time.

Honestly, what I wouldn't give to have both Boldin and Torrey back, what a total waste those guys playing with Krappernick.

Two softest guys on the team in this picture. I find that more concerning than lack of talent at WR. What happened to "Playing Like a Raven" ? Are we still trying to draft those kind of guys? Carl Davis and Jernigan fit the bill, but not many of our other recent picks do. Both those guys are D-line so if you're playing like a diva you are not going to make it to the league at that position.

Cmon Perriman... even a dozen plays could make a difference. Lets just get him on the field even if he is only 80 pct.... I think Perriman at 80% has to be more of a threat then Marlon and Kamar at 100%

Bad idea. I don't want them to even Think about putting him on the field until HE is 100%. You put him out there before that and you just Greatly increase the chances of an even Much more serious injury. This is bad enough. Whatever you do, do NOT compound the problem. We want the situation to improve, not get worse, no matter how long it takes. That's just not fair to Perriman OR the team, and I certainly wouldn't want to be the guy who made that call.

SSS is fried people so don't get on his case if he has a bad game this Thursday. Ravens as whole are mentally week and emotional drained right now. I figured they win against Bengals and lose to steelers.

SSS is the only option outside of our TE's Joe has to rely upon. You think Aaron Rogers or any other top flight QB would deal with the lack lackluster performance aiken has given this and previous years. Marlon Brown is a #4 WR for special packages and we still dont know what we have in Waller and Camp because we dont play them as much as our current starters. We need to start trying to move Waller and Camp up the depth chart or start looking for a trade or FA because Flacco need help now!

Is there any films to watch or practice you can do to stop making penalties???

I doubt that, but if the CBA allows it, instituting fines on the players for these dumb, stupid, non thinking, idiotic penalties they're committing might help.

Although our WR's haven't shown much, except of course, SSS, I feel it's more a combination of Flacco's inability to move around, poor coaching and playcalling and just not having anyone to light a fire under their collective butts. How many times have we all seen good QB's (Flacco is not now or ever been included in that group in my opinion) take WR's no one ever heard of, and make them into stars? Manning, Rodgers, Brady, etc. If you even remotely disagree, you watch NFL football w/purple blinders on while chugging purple kool aid. Neg all you want, the plain, simple honest truth is tough to take, huh? Flacco could have walked to a critical first down at the end of the game and what does he do? Watch the game film. He's a very large part of the problem. Fact. Everything opens up when you slow down a pass rush, move the pocket (watch Carr from Oakland if you don't know what that does) try a pump fake once or twice a year, heck, maybe even run!! Maybe a screen pass or have a RB throw? I know, I know......I must be crazy. Or maybe it's because I watch and pay attention to what good QB's do, what good coaches do in other games. The Ravens, aside from a small group of players, need to rebuild and start drafting well again. I'm also not a fan of either coordinator. Harbaugh could/should fire them both. Might as well, they're just jockeying for a draft slot from here on out. I'll continue to watch the games, then switch to watch a real game, w/real players and real coaches. I feel bad for SSS being stuck w/this team on his last year. He deserves better.

Nice thought, but I'm sure the Union will laugh at that idea. It all starts w/coaching/discipline or the lack thereof. Ever notice how every year we see the same thing?

Alarmism and extremism.  We lost three games.  We lost by a grand total of 14 points.  We have been in every game, and we came up short of one big play.  Firing anyone at this juncture would be foolish, unless you happen to know of better coordinators and quarterbacks that are out there looking for a job that, for unknown reasons, no one has hired.  Give me a break.

Yes Perriman needs to go on IR and the Ravens need to sign a vet receiver this guy is a huge disappointment and as i have said before will be no help this season. Hopefully Gilmore is not gone for most of the season, would be nice if Williams could step up, but the Steelers wont allow that.

No doubt, go get Alshon from the bears

Maybe if we're lucky, we'll see Flacco throw a few more (underthrown)fades, lob passes and rainbows to a 5'9" SSS in the endzone again Thursday, while Flacco stands still like a frozen statue. All while Waller stands on the sideline watching. He's every bit as fast as Perriman, but all we hear about is we have no one fast enough to take the top off of a defense. Maybe it's because he wasn't a #1 draft pick, so he can't possibly be any good? Yeah....continue throwing underthrown jumpball rainbows to a 5'9" guy. That works.

Just keep chuggin' that kool aid. See where we are in a few weeks.

I don't think Peas has the right personnel to play his normal soft style of defense... time to re-examine his style or try a new D.C. On the other side of the ball the O.C. seems to have no clue yet as to how to get the ball into the end zone when it comes to nitty-gritty time. The team needs a good shake-up or to start thinking about their draft position for next year.

I agree IR Perriman and sign at least another receiver who can at best be relied upon to catch the ball. Trade away a low level pick but just find Joe someone else "reliable" to throw to besides SSS, he won't last at this pace, he's 36 for goodness sakes. The defense simply must play better, they haven't play like Ravens since the last quarter games of last year. Maybe time for Harbs to start looking at his coaching staff.

Then ravens shoulda went after Emanuel sanders when he was a free agent. I really thought he was the best an the most underrated wr on the market a couple years ago. They need a younger wr like him that runs routes jump balls an can still beat you deep. We've never had that!! Most of the good qbs in the league have at least two weapons that can win when you need them to. Until our front office figures that out we will be in the same boat. Smh

Remember last year when Odell Beckham missed the first 4 games of the season with the bad hamstring? Remember how many people were already calling him a bust? What happened after that?

Im not saying that Perriman will be that same type of player but how can so many people write him off already? We just dont know yet. He's not the first player thats been in a similar situation and he definitely wont be the last.

every receiver starts out as somebody nobody has ever heard of.

your absurd and nonsensical rant basically presumes that every receiver in the league is completely talentless.

( i wasnt going to address the whole thing, but...)

a pump fake with a bunch of mediocre possession receivers in the secondary and James Hurst at LT = a sack.

to paraphrase the sentiments of one Giselle Bundchen: a quarterback cant block for himself in 5 different places AND throw the ball at the same time. So i fail to see how its Joe's job to slow the pass rush. again, look at your second year Left tackle.

Moving the pocket requires effective pass blocking...which again, isnt Joe's job.

Joe has 87 rushing first downs, and 633 rush yards on his career.

We threw screen passes. We throw screen passes. problem with that philosophy is that it really only works when the opposing defense is blitzing. They havent had to.

Im not quite sure how a Running Back throwing a pass qualifies as "what good QB's do" since a running back obviously isnt a Quarterback. you're not even talking about QB play, that's play calling. and no, a trick play is not something you audible into...

plus...Forsett is only 5'8", you GOTTA be kidding me. Also, in order for that to work you ned a) a reason for the Defense to pack the box, and b] somebody who can get open down field. you think Flacco is inaccurate? wait till you see an NFL dwarf in forsett attempt to throw a contested jump ball from behind his toweering 6'+ wall of linemen to receivers he's never had passing practice with before. lmao. Personnel matters. you cant just run anything you see somebody else do...

you gotta make at least one TINY sliver of sense if you're going to write this much.

Waller isn't as fast as Perriman. Waller is in the 4.4 range and Perriman is a 4.2 guy, but I know what your saying. Waller could open up the field if only used as a decoy. The problem with Waller is hes fast but not quick. You'd think finding a 6'5" target in the end zone would be easier than finding a 5'9" SSS, but SSS gets open and Waller doesn't.

Let's close our eyes and dream for a moment we took Aaron Rodgers in 2005 instead of Mark Clayton. We picked Clayton 2 picks ahead of him. How many SB trophies do you think we'd have right now? Look how he took James Jones from the guy no one wanted to making him look like a pro bowler. Must be nice.

Waller, Campanaro and Smith should be taking all the snaps at WR. Aiken and Brown are playing terrible. This offense can't run the dang ball so they are screwed. They get shut out until the other team is up by 2 TDs. Then the other team loosens it's defense and we start to move the ball with Steve Smith and Gilmore who is now done. The defense can't play well when the game is on the line.

They will be lucky to be 8-8. I would cut Perriman and let him recover on the street. He's worthless, damaged goods. Get rid of him and bring back Butler. Perriman is just one aggravation after another. A complete bust. Get it over with and cut him. Maybe that will help him recover.
