[News] Who's Practicing, Who's Not at Steelers

Seriously, just IR the kid at this point and sign a kick returner to run 9 routes instead. No shame in an unpreventable injury. Kevin White is out all year too.

I'm just saying,we always have injuries on this team. I understand that injuries will happen but dang we seem to have it all the time to key players every week. Perriman not being able too suit up is getting on my nerves.

I am just going to be patient and when Perriman comes back, then I'll see what he can do at the NFL level, till then, patience. It is not Perriman's fault his knee is not 100% yet. I am sure no one wants to play more than Perriman right now. If the Ravens don't have viable backup receivers who can help the team out when Perriman is injured, that is on the coaches and front office. I do hope to see him soon in Oct, all the complaining is wasted time, it is after all, an injury in training camp and training camp only, has nothing to do with his past because I think he played all his college games with no problems, nothing we can do but wait.

Brandon Williams is the next Pro Bowl player on this team. I think Jimmy Smith is still on his way back from that injury but he's making some plays... come to think of it, we have studs all over that Defense, the problem has to be coaching. I did not see any play where the pre-snap Defensive formation confused Dalton or Carr the week before into calling a time-out. That shows that Dean Pees lacks creativity. Boy I miss the Ravens Defense!!!

Oh man, not Gilmore. I hope his calf injury is not serious. I am bummed because Gilmore has really come through for us and has such long term potential. Hope Gilmore is ready to rumble soon. Love this guy.

What concerns me more is after he returns to the playing field, will this injury be something that may just pop up from time to time during his entire career.  How reliable is he going to be?  Let's hope this is the only time and when he heals, that's the last time we hear about this and any other injury.

I think I like watching Crockett more than any other player.  Watching him run through and over defenders.  Can you say wrecking machine.

Here's an idea, how bout you activate a guy you just picked up to provide a pass rush! I dont think it would be that hard to send in a guy on third down and tell him to go get the qb smdh. Whats there to learn seriously, I'm a firm believer that Pees needs to go at the end of the season. Its almost to the point where as a fan you hope that we dont make the playoffs cause if we do, they keep him smh. But go ravens either way

They need to just put Perriman on IR and be done for the season. I agree with Flacco... don't bother him (or us) until he's actually coming back. They need to stop running the ball straight ahead and downhill. Our line is not that dominant that they can create holes - Forsett is stuck in the mud. Is this the real Forsett, or is our line that bad? I don't think that Monroe coming back helps them either. He is the most injury-prone O lineman that I can remember. If they can run the ball, the opposing defenses have to stay honest, and other receivers can make plays... it can't be SSS all the time. Dude is going to wear down physically. Mentally, he is a feisty beast.

Yes Perriman needs to go on IR and the Ravens need to sign a vet receiver this guy is a huge disappointment and as i have said before will be no help this season. Hopefully Gilmore is not gone for most of the season, would be nice if Williams could step up, but the Steelers wont allow that.

welcome back.I hope that you can help Ravens to win the first match this season. Why we always lose in the last minute ?????There is player called Andy Dalton from Cincinnati team. This man played few minutes and he passed the winning goal in the last minutes. We proud that we have Joe Flacco who is doing very well like the maestro but this maestro needs his band .The question is where are they?

Ravens Defense: hit hard early; cause turnovers, tackle through ball carrier, blitz Vick.  Ravens Offense: stack back field with fullback & halfback, short comeback routes, X-Go deep.  Ravens Coaches: get this team up or stay in the locker room.   Ravens fans: Ravens will eat Vick's lunch with timely blitzes, solid play - enjoy "Yes, that's Ravens football!"   Ravens writers: nail the positives, spread the purple blood and cause a mean fever - it is time to UNWIND! As always, get the football, keep the football.

not having Perriman the defense can stack the line this is why there is no running game Aiken cannot beat man coverage Forsett can't run there are no running lanes with the D condensed at the line of scrimmage or extra man in the box daring Flacco to go over the top with no Perriman there best other than Smitty is Campy who Trestman is not using well at all but Crockett is who we thought he was tough rugged TE with an outside threat this offense could flourish. oh yea give Jimmy Smith some time his legs are not fully under him yet

Perriman, to this date, is an injury bust. To try and bring him back prematurely could derail a career before it's even started. Get it over with, IR him for the year, and bring him back healthy next year. Hopefully, it's a lesson learned and they bring in qualified speedsters to cover exactly this type of problem in the future.

A Monroe sighting, wow. He has been a disappointment, an injury prone disappointment.

I wonder if there's a shaky video to go along with the sighting. We should start calling Eugene "Bigfoot" cuz he's rarely ever seen.

I understand everyone getting mad that Breshard hasn't played yet and calling him a bust. What we really need to realise that it just might not be our year. I love our team and will scream at the TV just as loud every week win or lose, but it just seems like we are ment to lose. I think it will do the team some good, we need to fire both coordinators and last time we drafted so high we got CJ. This time we need a true lockdown corner, someone that can at least slow down AJ and AB. Waller, Perriman and Camp will be the future of our WR corps and we all know we are set at TE. Win or lose I'm excited for the future of this franchise.

If the Ravens don't win after what Kraft said, then maybe he's right. Die hard Ravens fan here but c'mon we're playing horrible and are a laughable stock. Oakland showed other teams how to beat us, and Cincy pretty much played similar to what Oakland did. If Ravens don't get their defense and run game together before Thursday we could pretty much be 0-4 and possibly start off 0-5 or 0-6 this season.

A lotta fans are mad that perriman is still injured but it's not his fault he got injured. We have to wait till he's fully healed so he can come back period. At least he has a chance to come back he could've tore his acl an been out for the year like some other rookies did this year. Some fans comments on here are ridiculous.

My beef with the front office is I felt they didn't add another speedster or playmaker to the offense at wr. They added multiple te an that was kool but for them to think Steve smith is not going to wear down because he is 36 an to think perriman is all we needed blows my mind. I think we should've kept Jacoby jones because he wasn't expensive an we didn't save much money by cutting him. At least we new that jones could beat you deep an him an joe had chemistry. So what he had a bad year but players other than him had bad years as well.

Flacco is a play action deep ball thrower that needs a running game an that's it. It is what it is an he needs weapons around him to make him look good. Our front office has let all of his weapons walk out of the last couple of years an haven't replaced them. They draft Waller in the six round an he has all the measurables but you can't much out of him this year or maybe you can't expect anything at all. Campanaro looks like he will be a good but they don't use him enough an you hope he can make it threw a full season healthy. The other wr are possession guys at best with no speed.

It's time the ravens add some real talent at the skill positions!!
