^ injuried skinny 5'10 CB that lacks speed vs. Explosive lockdown CB AND safety?

Hargreaves may not be built big, but that doesn't mean he plays like it. He's pretty tough and physical. Size doesn't mean a lot as long as you play bigger than your size. I take it you wouldn't want Chris Harris Jr. from that 5'10 statement who is about the same size as Hargreaves. Its not about height, its about playing big. I don't really see a speed problem for Hargreaves, he's pretty athletic. I really like Jalen Ramsey, I just feel that Hargreaves is a bit better.

Harris is a rare breed, fast and he's got A LOT of muscule on him for a 5'10 CB, AND he can press consistently. I haven't seen the potential for Hargreaves to reach those levels.

If we don't get Ramsey in the first, I really like FS Vonn Bell from Ohio State. The guy can ball, has range, speed, and eyes for the football. I am actually surprised nobody mentioned him around here. He would be a perfect fit here.

Hargreaves can press and displays physicality. Its not about size if you can't play big. There are guys out there who are big that don't play up to their size. Hargreaves plays bigger than his size and displays the physicality against bigger recievers numerous times.

So the remaining members of the ramseywagon are me and cill? Eh, I'm ok with it

It's hard to find a bandwagon to commit to until we at least know where we'll be picking in the draft, but I'm not going anywhere yet.

No. I love Ramsey. Why not be on multiple wagons? Lol.

I've just seen Hargreaves dominating most conversations on here lately lol it looked like he took over. I'm still firmly on Ramsey's wagon

I'm split. I can see both sides.

Hargreaves is an amazing CB who is too criticized by someone around here in order to clearly promote their guy in Ramsey. Both can be great picks for this team. I think Hargreaves is a far superior CB, but Ramsey is clearly a special safety. Ramsey also can play CB, which is an added benefit, although I suppose that's like saying Oher could play LT--it's not something you ever want to see.

With that said, nobody mentions Vonn Bell from Ohio State, but that guy is damn good! He's got the makings of being a dominant FS. Please watch him.

For what it's worth, I remember seeing a pre-draft interview with Phillip Dorsette in which he said Ramsey was the best DB he played against all year. Obviously didn't play Waynes or Peters but that does include Darby (who's having a good rookie year) and Fuller. Just a thought.

waynes and peers were the best db's of last years class, Ramsey is a special talent and safeties of his caliber don't come often.

I'd be more than happy with either Ramsey or Hargreaves. I think both could be elite level players at the next level. I'm just not sure if I'm willing to compare them directly because I'm sold on Ramsey as a FS rather than a CB.

Yeah agreed on pretty much all of this. I guess I need to see some Bell film as well lol

Yeah I feel Hargraves has a very thin frame which is a concern for us, especially with how injury prone Jimmy and Webb are. Granted Bridgewater had a small frame as well

May have to consult the correction officer on that one

Multiple wagons are allowed, though a primary one must be stated

Rob Rang has us picking Tredavious White, I'm not too sure about that one. What do you guys think about it? Its possible Tredavious is the only CB left for us to pick, Vernon Hargreaves and Jalen Ramsey are viewed as top ten picks and could go before our pick.

If the Ravens pick in the top ten, which they probably will, then I'd consider White to be a reach. He'd be fine if they were picking between 12 and 20.

I agree, I do consider him a reach anywhere in the top ten. I still think there is enough time for him to make his case, but as of now I'm not convinced.

Depending on where we draft Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU may be an option. While he has some major technique issues, to me he looks to be one of the best quick-twitch athletes out there, with great explosion, and I think his hip flexibility is up there with the elite. His ability to flip his hips is impressive and he can run in positions that many CBs cannot. He seems to be rising up boards and I don't see it slowing down at any point before the draft if he enters.
