I can see it go either way. If we pick in the top 15ish, I think he'll be a Raven for sure if we want him. You have a point on him and make good reasons why he could go high, but it depends on the teams picking at the top, what they need, and other players who certainly get hyped up. Lol you know how it goes.

Yeah it's far too early to say with any certainty of course, but I do think he has elite level talent and that's what keeps him up there, whether that be at CB or FS.  I think he could be one of the top guys in the league at either position.  He also has all season to prove me wrong and make me look like an idiot lol

As more people are interested in Ramsey, I just can't help, but feel what's going to happen on draft day if he ends up going to a team we dislike....

If he goes to the Steelers, I'm quitting as an NFL fan to start following baseball. And I don't even know what an EBI is, so it won't be an easy sport for me to take up (despite how much I've tried in the past).

Kendall fuller

He got abused against Ohio State's Michael Thomas. Also have you noticed how he REFUSES to turn around for the ball?

And honestly, that Hargreaves guy isn't much more promising. He's a thin short CB who plays 10 yards back. Everything we hate. We need a CB to be at least 6 feet so he can press.

I was listening to a talk show featuring Daniel Jeremiah, one of our former scouts, talked with GMs and front office staffs around the league. Daniel asked which was more valuable an Elite CB or FS.

The answer ended up being a toss up depending on scheme.

Ya that was an interesting convo and makes me wonder which we value more, though I'd guess FS. That's a great podcast he does too

Kendall Fuller had knee surgery and is done for the year. That's a shame. I wasn't completely sold on him and was looking forward to watching him this year.

What happened to him? I didn't even know he was hurt.

I may be alone, but I don't think he was going that high before the injury. I don't think it's a secret I really like Fuller, but I was pretty confident Ramsey would go before him.

I expect Hargreaves to be the very first DB selected. After him I think Ramsey will go. I see Ramsey as the second DB off the board and he'll go in the 10-16 range.

Matt Miller has Su'a Cravens coming off the board before our boy. I know it's only Bleacher Report (and a reasonably old mock draft), but his is one of the few opinions I respect on that site.

I was thinking something similar. You never know if he has some ungodly season at CB or if teams see him as an Eric Berry or Earl Thomas, but the Vaccaro/Reid/Clinton-Dix/Pryor range sounds about right. If we finish with a top-half pick I'd say he's a realistic shot.

Now let's talk CB and get off the FS topic. I want one of these guys on this team:

Zach Sanchez, Oklahoma; Cameron Sutton, Tennessee; Eric Murray, Minnesota; Brandon Facyson, Virginia Tech.

Those are the guys who stood out to me when I watched games from last year (and other years) and from the few games I saw this year. I need to watch them a bit more, but I like these guys quite a bit.

Sanchez is probably my favorite of the bunch and he impressed me a lot when I was watching my boy Aaron Colvin a couple years back. I also like Sutton quite a bit. Facyson could be in for a big year after they lost Fuller and I think he's a pretty good player in his own right.

I think we should trade up for him if we end up in the early twenties if he's there. We're willing to trade up 10 spots so I think we could trade up to as late as 15 if he fell there.

i never said i thought fuller goes before ramsey, i said with teams valuing cb's so much higher than safeties that there is the chance that ramsey is the 4th db off the board after the 3 top cb's. i think hargreaves goes first, while ramsey and sutton is a crap shoot for 2nd. i never actually thought ramsey is legitimately the 4th db to go, just wishful thinking

grim it looks like we have the same bandwagons this year. im a big fan of sutton in the first if we end up in the late teens early 20s range, and im a big fan of sanchez if we end up in the top 10 of the 2nd round.

I am big on Sutton as well, I think given his skill set he has a viable chance to be a top 10 guy. He has been really good the past couple of years and with his size/speed/physicality combo I would not be surprised if he is the first CB off the board. Easily a top 15 pick to me.

I really wanted Eric Murray to come out last year so obviously i like him, he seems to get downplayed a lot.

Tra'Davious White is an interesting one to watch, I have my issues in that it looks like in his back pedal he is on his heels a lot, he crosses his feet a lot in transitions, and he seems a little handsy after five yards which could bite him in the NFL. Looks raw but talented, not sure if he will come out or should come out.

Will Redmond is another guy I like, seems balanced and active in the secondary. Handled Dural well in the LSU game, iffy to say this though as their passing game is very skeptical and probably not the best example of good talent on good talent. Got abused at times on the Ole Miss tape on draft breakdown. Looks like he can get caught flat footed at the line and once a WR eats up his cushion and breaks he is in bad spots, could be slow footwork. Like him though.

Oh I see. I think he'll be the second or third DB selected so I think we agree here anyway. We seem to just disagree on something that's now irrelevant lol.

Much of the same players, that's for sure. I recall we liked similar players last year, too. Yeah, Sutton and Sanchez are two of my favorites. I like Sutton a lot across from Jimmy, but Sanchez looks like he could be a great fit for the defense as well. I'd love to double dip at secondary, but it's hard to say where these guys go. Sanchez would be a nice get, though. He outshined Colvin when I watched them.

Eric Murray is going to make some team very happy with their sleeper pick

I know, right? I really like this guy. If we can't get a CB in the first round, I'd like to get Murray somewhere on the second day depending on where his stock is.

I would really like Will Redmond from Miss St. but goodness the guy can't tackle to save his life, even by CB standards he's a liability from what I've seen. His teammate Calhoun is willing to get in there and tackle though, don't know enough about his coverage skills to judge how good his is right now.

Sutton is my fav. CB. I don't think we have a realistic shot at Hargreaves and Sutton is def. a player any team would like, with that said I really want a FS this year. Ramsey would be such a great pick but I really think he goes top 10.

Ravens didn't steal Mosley. In that draft the Steelers picked Shazier over Mosley in the first round, since they had an earlier pick. Maxx Williams is who we stole from them.
