The Defense will be fine the Offense gotta put some points on the BOARD PERIOD! Gotta keep slinging that Rock period point blank! Defense has carried this team for years and doing a pretty good job this season if you ask me just should have beat denver and holding peyton manning under 20pts isn't easy but they did! Offense gotta open it up and carry this team they owe it to the Defense! LETS GO

The defense will be fine!?!?!? I Honestly can't believe that I just read that! If we had watched our defense play three games like it played one game, the one against Denver, that statement might actually make some sense. But, that's just not the case. Our defense has looked lost, horrendous, and forgettable in our last two games. If our defense continues to play like it has been this season is going to be extremely painful to watch. Our last two games the offense has put up 30 points, or more, and we have lost both of those games. And you say our defense will be fine!?!?!? If our defense doesn't play well enough for us to win when we score 30 points, I say our defense is so far from fine that it isn't even in the same stratosphere. I can't even remember the last time our defense made a stop on a drive late in the game to protect a lead our offense had given us. Our defense is NOT fine, and unless some Very Serious changes are made, like firing Pees to start with, I don't believe our defense Will become "fine."

I've been saying this for a long, long time now. Our offense is notorious for starting so slowly. Very rare is the game that our offense shows up ready to play. It's been an ongoing problem that's needed to be fixed for a long time. Pees needs to be fired and I'm talking like immediately. Trestman is extremely suspect himself. I think he was a bad hire. I know he's not interested in the job, but the best thing that could happen for our defense is for Ray lewis to take over as our Defensive Coordinator. And Ed Reed should take over as our defensive secondary coach, and I think he just might be Interested in taking that job. What a dream scenario that is. Ray Lewis, Defensive Coordinator, Ed Reed, Secondary Coach. I think we would actually see immediate results. If nothing else, I guarantee you'd see our intensity level sky rocket immediately. Of course, we all know that Harbaugh's ego would get in the way of that happening. What a pity. Just curious, if our choice was between Ray & Ed, or Harbs, how many of you think we would, or should, be in the market for a new HC? Again, just curious if, indeed, that choice presented itself.

 

We think somewhat alike.  I think Ed and Ray Ray would be great for our defense no matter what positions they coach at.  This team needs some serious leadership and motivation.  I think it would go a long way even though we don't have much depth in the secondary right now and are hampered by heavy injuries.  As for Harbs, he's not going anywhere this season, and probably still would have a job even if we have a losing record next year too (at least to the end of the season).  I think we need to give Harbaugh a chance to right the ship.  He's earned that much.
