what got me so upset yesterday was one play in the 2nd quarter%u2026 Forsett had a nice hole but runs up the middle, and gets tripped up for a 3 yard gain---when any other power runner easily breaks that tackle and picks up 10 %u2026 after the play, Forsett jogs off the field, slaps up a defender on the Bengals on his way off, and smiles jogging off the field%u2026.ARE YOU SERIOUS FORSETT!!!! SSSr. and Gilmore are the only ones playing with heart and soul each game in and game out, i literally feel bad for them that guys are going through the motions like Forsett. we need a real running back, and the play calling? don't even get me started Trestman- how about you take a few shots down the field%u2026 idc we don't have a deep threat right now, everyones loading the box bc your play calling is so predictable Helen Keller can see your run plays coming from a mile away.. 0-4 here we come, Steelers will absolutely steam roll us THURSDAY%u2026 Anyone recommend any good tv shows on Thursday i can watch after the 1st quarter? Several times in recent pressers Joe has been blunt in assessing the team stating, "we just aren't very good". Although the comment may be true and a reality check, I wonder if this belief, that they aren't good enough, is translating in to a lack of confidence and a lack of belief in themselves to rise to the occasion. I have heard Joe say "we aren't very good" at least 3 times. That's a different message than talking about not executing, etc.. These guys can't start succeeding unless they believe in themselves enough to hold a lead or march down the field and take the lead. I just hope some players and coaches find some ways to instill a winning mentality back in these players. Regardless of the current losing streak, the team cannot afford to feel inferior or incapable and make this defeatist attitude a self fulfilling prophecy. I see heads hanging and hear the discouragement. Hoping some vets can help these younger players especially get back on track mentally, then bust their butts in practice physically. Coaches need to also put them in better positions to be successful as well.

The Steelers and Ravens always bring out the best out of each other. Maybe this upcoming game will help the Ravens get back on track and starting winning games. I know this team has what it takes and I believe they'll find their identity on Thursday night.

Thus far the combined record of our opponents is 8-1. 2 of them are 3-0. Every single one of those games weren't lost until the final 2 possessions of the game within the last 2 minutes. So you tell me -- are we capable of being a 13-3 team?

We have to fix our secondary (safeties). Will Hill needs to study tape more or we need to find a replacement because he is really hurting us. Kendrick Lewis is a very good tackler but I haven't seen much in coverage yet.

Can these group of men we have get their heads focused and win out for the remainder of the season? I wish Ray Lewis would come back just to get these guys motivated with a speech.

Babin better be active and playing, Perriman too even in limited packages or decoy downfield and redzone. ITS NOW OR NEVER TIME!

No more waiting around theres not enoufh talent on this team as is. GAME CHANGERS are needed on both sides of the ball. Hell if by Miracles they can pull out this game, then the next game v Browns... Right now What a Luxary it would be week 6 to have Pitta come back... Throw him in the slot and all of a sudden the offense is semi legit.

Flacco: "We also have to get our minds in check and make sure that we want to go out there and win a football game. But, only if you feel like it, Average Joe. I know you don't make much money. Webb: "Ben, he's a great quarterback. He extends plays". Unlike your own QB. Flacco could have walked for a first down near the end of the game. Wide open field and two wide open WR's. Really. Watch the film.

Consider this. Our last overall win came without any of our current starters on the field on a last minute TD by a QB who is not even on the team anymore.

I feel bad for Steve Smith... no matter the level of effort he displays and no matter what he racks up in terms of scores and yards the team lets him down.

Dude for real Joe Flacco needs to step up and be a voice he has never been and is the time for him to be an ELITE QB that steps up and push's his team for greater things. Flacco WILL NEVER BE ELITE until he can pull together the team as a whole. Until then we will continue to have noone to be the Rock on our team. Complete Trash. Jimmy Smith hope you like the millions you're getting for dropping games for us. I thought he was supposed to be a top 5 Corner? Why can't you not get beat by speedy receivers.

Now we're considered underdogs instead of super bowl contenders. The Ravens tend to have plenty of success when being the underdog. We'll see

Vick can find open receivers, and with our weak secondary, he is not to be taken for granted. Meanwhile, Pitt has beaten us in the past w/out Big Ben. No one should see this game as a shoo-in. But--with Pitt's weak defense, I think we have a good chance.

Listened to Harbs' post game presser again. Either directly or indirectly, Harbs keeps coming back to the play calling more so than player execution failures. Harbs is apparently not a happy camper with the defensive play calling. Hope Harbs gives Pees an ear full and I pray that substantial changes are forthcoming with these defensive fiascos.

we beat ourselves, scheme, our defensive scheme is what beat us. We have man corners, a roaming FS and a run stopping SS. Why did i see our SS trying to play coverage down the field when our FS was playing the blitz or run stop? Im no DC but our FS is faster than our SS, and alot of those deep passes are because our SS didnt have the closing speed or just couldnt read the QB. We signed a "playmaking" free safety for a reason why isnt he back there on the crucial drives?. we saw it last year and the year before. Maybe its not the players on defense, maybe just maybe its the dang coordinator....

I am not totally ready to give in that the playoff is lost just yet, I don't care if the percentage is .001%. Until we are mathematically eliminated, we keep fighting. Even if out of playoffs, keep fighting to win games. So far we have a very nice ride, albeit, a fun/nail biting/nerve wracking see saw ride into playoffs/SB win for a long time and many NFL fans would trade to be in our shoes for last 8 seasons in a heartbeat despite an 0-3 start this year. We lost 3 straight games in 2008 (Weeks 4-6) and made it to AFC Championship game. We lost 3 straight games again in 2009 (Weeks 4-6) and made it to division round playoffs. No losing streak in 2010, 2011. We lost 3 straight (Lost 4 of last 5 regular season games) in 2012 and became SB Champs. We lost 3 straight (Weeks 6,7 and 9. 8 was bye week) and lost final two games in 2013 (No playoffs). Last year was 2 straight and we all know what happened in playoffs. Point being is, we made playoffs 3 of 4 times after 3 games losing streaks in same season. Granted, it is better to have that in middle of season instead of start but nevertheless not impossible to overcome. Each time Ravens had losing streaks the past 8 years, so called fair weathered fans quickly consider the season doomed. Real Pros/fans don't give up, no matter what. I have been a fan of sports for over 50 years and have seen my share of come from behinds in sports. People call it miracles, there is nothing miracle about it, just professionals refusing to give up and clawed that extra inch, pushed themselves more, willed themselves to never give up, encouraging teammates to fight on.

If America had given up losing a few battles, there would be no America. If teams falling far behind and then win it all would not win it all if they gave up when things are bad. Never is a time to give up in sports, even with a losing record. I have tremendous respect on teams with a history of losing seasons that never gave up. There is a long list of losing sport teams who never gave up and played hard every time. There is a long list of fans who endure no Championship ever and still wear team colors and encourage them on. The O's have not been Champions since 1983 and people still wear O's colors and cheer them on. That's real love, if you don't have real love for your team when things are bad, then you don't deserve to wear the team color when things are good. Name calling of players is nothing but a low form of not being intelligent enough to articulate in sensible manners. There are ways to get upset without resorting to name calling, ways to voice our displeasure while still loving the team. There is no vacancy for fans who gives up on the team or does not give encouraging words when your team is knocked down. Nobody likes to see their team knocked down. Real fans go down with them and encourage to keep fighting back. Life is not about cherry picking when things goes good or bad, life is about taking a hard fall with the good and keep marching with your head held high as long as your heart and mind is in it all the way through thick and thin. Now let's go try to kick some butt in Pittsburgh and come home with a W, if not, I still will wear my team color. Go get'em boys!!!

downvoting this cause our secondary isnt weak... our DC needs to be changed. his mind set or just go and find a new DC to do the job and make the proper play calling
