Looks like the Bengals are proud of their accomplishment without resorting to badmouthing us. Glad to see it. They played well. They're 3-0. We're 0-3. Those are the simple facts.

Well, reading the joyous Bengals reactions to defeating the Ravens again was about as pleasant as a root canal without Novocain.

Time to shake things up and look to the future. Flacco better not be difficult with his contract. 15 per season is fair and hopefully he agrees. If not maybe part ways with him as well.

bengals have done a great job drafting for several years now. big physical receivers that are actually good and pan out unlike our front office that sucks at drafting receivers and has had some bad picks in the early rounds lately aside from cj and perriman we shall see. i still believe the fo should offer a 3rd or 4th rd pick and trade for a receiver better than useless aiken and brown or a pass rusher

What the Bengals Said After the Win:

"We own the Ravens, and this is nothing new."

We should be able to win the next against Vick and the Squeelers. If not, then we're definitely done for the season for sure.

All these teams are class organizations they know that on any given Sunday that they can be beaten by any team. However Marvin Lewis has got the blueprint for beating us and I'm sure on the inside he is doing his happy dance knowing he beat us 4 in a row!!!!

Man up it's as simple as that. We shouldn't cry about spoil milk. Another divisional game on the road. Eventually it will all fall in place . Chin up head held high and PLAY LIKE A RAVEN.!

"Play like a Raven"

*lol* the defense is playing like little chicken. Seeing our boys get stomped while tackling A.J. Green en route his 80 yrd touchdown hurt a lot.

Do appreciate the article as a football fan. It's just too bad it couldn't be the Ravens taking the high road after a victory. However, the bottom line is the Ravens are once again having major problems in the secondary and the reason is probably a combination of the FO and the D/C not doing their jobs. Not only is that D far short of being playoff caliber it's not even good enough to be of .500 caliber.

The 1st quarter of the season is almost over. The question is do we go 0-4 or 1-3. Although it would be one game if we won, but that one game could help our morale. It's the Steelers, we go in there and win that game it would be huge for us. I'm not counting us out yet. I still think we can make playoffs, its time to put the blade to the grinder, and do this like its Jan. If we don't come together now as team we can kiss this season goodbye. Can anyone tell me how long it takes for a guy to learn a defense? Supposedly that's why Jason Babin isn't playing. I tell you what, he'd better get it because we are going to need him against the Steelers. We cant go out and get beat by a fragile Michael Vick. God forbid Vick gets hurt in this game, but who else do the Steelers have at QB? Come on Baltimore Lets get it together.

WR Mohamed Sanu:

(on the last touchdown to Green)

%u201CWe had it. He [Dalton] changed protection. We had our routes locked. ***They played man across the board, and when you do that, you%u2019re susceptible for it not to be in your favor.*** - *** They played man the whole fourth quarter.*** They were ***trying*** to throw exotic blitzes on us to slow us down.%u201D

Here's Mohamed Sanu basically saying what we all have been saying and know:

1) We cannot cover these receivers man-to-man, at least not in a soft man format;

2) Not only could we not cover their receivers man-to-man on that play, we couldn't do it the entire 4th quarter (Sanu sounds almost SURPRISED that we stayed in man the whole quarter;

3) Trying to get cute/exotic with blitzes doesn't work when you are giving a huge cushion and your scheme is so obvious that Andy Dalton can sit back there and KNOW what is coming, adjust his routes and protections and we just sit back, make no adjustment, and lose the game.

Sickening.

Marvin Lewis has the blueprint for beating Dean Pees. I got really good at that blueprint yesterday, who is the opposing team going to throw to that will catch the ball, I was about 95% accurate if I picked the receiver who the defense didn%u2019t play at the line. I wish I was bad at that blueprint because if I%u2019m good at it, so is the opposing QB.

WR Mohamed Sanu on touchdown to Green - “We had it. He [Dalton] changed protection. We had our routes locked. They played man across the board, and when you do that, you’re susceptible for it not to be in your favor. They played man the whole fourth quarter. They were trying to throw exotic blitzes on us to slow us down.”

Sanu is basically saying the same thing many Ravens fans were saying "Where is the double or over top protection on Green?"  "Why are safeties too close to the line and not back further in proper positions?" Exotic blitzes can work on linebackers while safeties work with CBs on Green and medium to long passes on other receivers. It is crazy not to respect that Dalton can do serious damage if safeties are not in proper positions. That is on Pees for not working up blitz packages without the need to drag the safeties closer to the line. QBs can easily see what is going on when safeties gets closer to the line most times but can only guess on what linebackers and defensive front will do. Plus when a team has a duo like Dalton/Green, it is nuts to play with fire trying to get fancy by bringing safeties closer the line, the QB only needs a few seconds to call an audible when he sees safeties out of position. QBs salivates when they see that. It is on Pees for not positioning the safeties out of fear of damages Dalton/Green can do.

That's why I have high respect for Marvin Lewis and anyone in the NFL who respects an opponent after a win.

Jim Schwartz as new DC?

Not a bad idea, I forgot about him. I would support that.

On 2nd thought 20 mins later. Probably would not happen because Jim Schwartz and Jim Harbaugh nearly got into a fight after a game handshake a while back.
