How about a shot to the arm, FO? Offer up a fifth rounder to Miami for Kenny Stills. Face it. We're not going to see Perriman this year and Aiken/Brown aren't even close to WR2s. You already gave Miami a draft pick for a DB who was inactive yesterday. What's another pick for a player--who can actually ball-- and suit up?!?!!!

We are stuck with free agents because we failed to draft well for defense recently.  Elam, Brookes, Kindle, Cody, A Brown etc...  In recent years we have struck out in the draft.  Of course we can yell at Ozzie and blame him but when the team picks between 28th and 32nd just about every year, slowly but surely your draft picks are going to be of suspect quality.  We did do well with Brandon Williams who is starting, also Mosley, Carl Davis, Webb, and Smith but mostly we have FAs because we have done horrible in the draft save 2 or 3 players.

Yep. timmy jernigan was also a good grab. But omg was Elam a bust, and Terrence Cody who was a 1st pick omg!!! And our other guys like brent urban & company can't even stay healthy for a game smh.

I said during the offseason that we should cut Aiken and replace him with Daniel Brown. But oh noo, don't tell harbaugh and company that. They knew for sure that Aiken should be our starter SMH! freaking boneheads, I wonder if they have the GUTS to cut Aiken and get Daniel brown in here and on the field. I don't see how it would hurt.  At least Daniel Brown could also block as well.

I'm going to assume Perriman is a wash for the whole year. I think we need to stop kidding ourselves a little, here. Also, I expect our guys to fight for some wins, this year. I'm expecting and assuming that they want to get rolling along and start winning some games, especially the Pitt. game. We have received a big break, due to Big Ben's injury. Of course, I wish he didn't get hurt, as I'm not one to like anyone to get hurt, but it's a break nonetheless. We need to get rolling along. We lost 3 games during the S.B. run, in Dec., so we can do it this year. Frankly, I just want to see us get to 9 or 10 wins, that would be close to playoffs anyway. So we could try to win 9 or 10 of the next 13 games.

I'm not a big fan of Aiken, I've seen him drop a few balls that he should have caught, but M. Brown has been good in the past, I don't see why we can't give him more targets. I mean, Smith Sr. has put everything into this year and I hope he stays healthy, but especially around the goal line, we need to take adv. of M. Brown's height advantage. And, if we're throwing near the end-zone, we need to try to put it in the end zone and not short of, like yesterday, settling for stupid FG's doesn't help when the other team is getting only TD's, just like in Oak. and yesterday.

If we can't beat the Steelers with Mike Vick at QB then I'm afraid we are done. This is a perfect set up for us to get some wins. Big Ben is out, we got the Browns next, and then we have the Niners. Kaepernick threw 4 picks against the Cardinals and they have no home field advantage because you can barely hear the crowd at Levi Staedium during the Niners home games. If we do what we are supposed to do, this will put us 3-3 before we face the Cardinals on monday night. The football Gods are helping us Ravens. C'mon let's go!!!

The 2012 Baltimore Ravens won the SB after having a three game losing streak during the regular season. We actually lost 4 of our last 5 that season.

Thanks, I needed this pick me up today.

Looks bad, but if Ravens can figure things out, there's still a way out of this mess. I just hope what Steve Smith does on the field is infectious. But Kraft talking about karma... that just makes me mad. I wish that football karma smites him like a ton of bricks. Seriously, is he saying Ravens starting badly is karma for telling on his team that they're cheating? Unreal!

We need to manufacture a receiver from somewhere. Carolina trades for a good pass rusher when they need one. Ours, that we got, hasn't even learned the D system . jeeesh!! Find a receiver!

#1- Screw Jonathon Kraft! #2- If folks in New England believe the Ravens tipped off the colts on deflategate is that an admittance of guilt?

#3- Breshad Perriman, a wasted draft pick?

#4- Zrebiec? If you say there is enough talent on the Defense to work with then of course people are going to blame coaching (Dean Pees) for the winless start.

OK enough venting for now. Go Ravens!!!

This team has no motivation to win. There is a huge lack of leadership. The makeup of this team right now is mostly free agents unfortunately. We wen't from having a defense that we fully drafted to having one where most our guys are either free agents or rookies stepping in immediately. Will Hill & kendrick Lewis - Both free agents. Daryl Smith, Lawrence guy, Elvis Dumervil. All guys from free agency. Think of our SB run, Pernell Mcphee, Arthur Jones, Ngata, Suggs, Cary Williams, Jimmy Smith, Ray Rice, Danielle Ellerbe. Bernard Pollard was a free agent pick but he fit perfectly with a bunch of guys that were already Ravens by blood. This season our staff went to heavy in relying on free agents to carry this team. Thats where I feel the motivation and leadership lacks when it comes down to it. Ozzie and the crew wanted a more explosive offense but they forgot that this team and most importantly baltimore city which is a blue collar city is a defense city. Keep Flacco intact, and just build on our defense and get the RUN game back!!

Williams, Graham,  and  Pollard.   3/4th of the Super Bowl winning secondary were free agents.  And outside of Rice Flacco and Smith, there were a bunch of free agents on that starting offense.

Sure it would be nice to see more homegrown talent on defense,  but since the Super  Bowl  the team has lost a lot of guys to retirement and guys being overpaid as free agents

Yes, there have been some bad draft picks,  but you made a good point,  its hard to draft stars when you are always drafting at the end of each round.   But the 2014 draft was probably one of Ozzie's best.   It probably ranks just behind  Ogden/Lewis draft and the  Flacco/Rice draft.   And if Perriman and  Williams become the players everyone thinks, this draft could be right behind them.  Add in Davis and Boyle,  and this was a solid draft.

Really just comes down to poor draft picks the last few years. They have been mostly busts and haven't contributed at all. I think out of the 2012-2013 we had 18 draft picks. Of that number 4 are starters and 8 are on the roster but have never played. Gotta do a better job and that is all on Oz.

So it's ok for the Krafts to get defensive when there is "no proof" of their wrong doing but they'll go on the offensive themselves when there is zero evidence that the Ravens had anything to do "tipping off" anyone. What a punk, he'll get his karmic justice too some way or another.

My grandmoma always told me it is the "sweetheart" that gets taken to the dance.  Next time we meet, Jonathan Kraft, whenever that is, just remember those words...they might get you left on the doorstep alone.  Grandmoma never liked ugly!

I hate but respect pittsburgh. I have absolutely 0 respect for the classless pieces of ____ (fill in the blank) in new england. Lack of character and total arrogance when they dont have the right to gloat.

When T Suggs went down in the first game, I made the mistake of reading the comments on the NFL website article on it..... However, the only really trashy comments came from Patriot fans; most Pittsburgh, Bengals, and a few various other teams made completely positive comments about how terrible it was for him and our team, and what a great player he is......Some Steeler fans even bashed Patriot fans for their nasty comments, it was refreshing to see....... I developed a greater respect for Steelers fans that day......

Usually I shoot down suggestions but if Miami was looking to trade him I think Ozzie should think about it.   He would come relatively cheap,  considering he is still signed to his rookie contract.   And unless  Perriman is put on IR I think he will play this season.   Stills just gives Flacco another weapon while he is out, and next season when Smith retires.

So you think cutting our basically 4th and 5th corners who were thrusted into starting roles BECAUSE OF INJURIES is called "shaking up the defense"? Not buying that at all.

I'd consider 2013 a bigger shakeup, when we actually benched starters for poor play, not backups who shouldn't have been starting to begin with.

Does Sarah Ellison really believe that Kraft would be upset with the Ravens because what may or may not have been said about Deflategate? She must be crazy! As much as we "dislike" the Bengals and the Browns, no other teams make Ravens' blood boil more than Steelers and Patriots. I know that they really hate when they play Baltimore, because it's always a dog fight, and more than any other team, the Ravens hit the Pats in the mouth in their house. So forget Deflategate, Sarah Ellison... it's so 2014. Kraft KNOWS that if there's a Ravens-Patriots playoff game, not many other teams have gone into Foxboro and showed up to play as we do.

See that's more like it.

Gotta find some hope to cling on to. I've waited too long for football to come back to give up on this team 3 games in.

Most of the ingredients are there... We just have to start clamping down. Blown coverages, missed tackles, bad matchups, stupid penalties, poor decision making, untimely drops, etc.... Are killing us.

The bad news is 3 games in a row makes a trend. The good news is that theoretically all of those things can and should be corrected. And all mashed together on top of just poor play - we've arguably should have won against 2 top AFC contenders.

If at our worst were losing last minute to Legit SB contenders.... Then with even decent play we should be able to right this ship.

Those with class do not advertise their happiness when others are struggling. We should be focusing more on the steps we need to take to resolve the issue versus articles on who is happy that we are down in the dreggs.

Having a variety of articles is good. And it's good to be reminded how much some out there hate the Ravens and work against us to tarnish us...thus the more reason for us to focus and play our best ball, shutting them up!
