[News] Late For Work 9/28: Patriots' Jonathan Kraft Enjoying 'Sweetheart' Ravens Losses

Little Kraft has all the charm of daddy Kraft. Those two really sum up how I view people from Mass. Sickening to look at and even worse to listen too.

These are the times when fans show up for a team. Criticizing your team and clamoring for improvements only shows that we care, not that we’re fair-weathered. If we were fair-weathered fans we would just check out and not even bother.

A reminder to myself first and then to Ravens Nation, it’s times like these that add genuineness to moments of greatness. When Bisciotti is up on that Super Bowl stage being handed the Lombardi and he starts by thanking the greatest fans in the world, he’s not thanking us for being around when all is hunky dory. What makes fans great is that they stay connected, stay concerned, but above all, stay supportive of their guys when things look their darkest. True support isn't always praising people. Genuine support means being honest when things need to change.

We’re not a team that’s getting blown out. We’re a competitive team that needs to make some adjustments to finish on the right side of games that are all coming down to the last few minutes and seconds of the 4th quarter.

To anyone that’s part of the organization reading this, the fans are still here. Just keep trying your best.

The lack of motivation and poor work ethic of younger players are the direct result of void in leadership. Both veteran players or coaches can be those leaders, but we have none on either side. And this is purely the fault of FO. 2nd and 3rd year players are not capable of being mental and emotional leaders of a team. Oz was way too optimistic thinking they could.

We can hate the Krafts and Pats all we want. Fact is, they have the right people in place to win games. Their contracts rarely sink them. Their coordinators are very good at calling games. They draft well, even with last pick every year. They may have spent the summer dealing with controversy, but when it comes to football, we're the ones with egg on the face.

Yeah, there's no one person to blame and really there's no one unit to place the blame upon as everything is off. I will say though that I personally am most disappointed in the Defense. I'm devastated and can't believe what I witnessed yesterday.

Oh so that explains this sense of being blacklisted. I noticed this preseason moving into regular all the damaging articles on us. So the Patriots want payback from deflate gate by trying to damage our reputation? All I can say is...what goes around comes around "Krafty" your time is gonna come...and soon ;) Karma. Huh, works both ways.

Despite AJ's great day, 36 year old SSS playing lights out, puking, IV's, balling, trying to take the offense on his back for the win gets my vote for offensive player of the week. You cannot ask any more from a human being/player than the effort and heart SSS played with.

"Sheesh, what did Baltimore do to the football gods?" You know what we did and when we refuse to accept it and face it head on so we can move on, these are the results. Play like a Raven always

Fair weather fans need to stop kicking your team that's down. The rest of NFL franchises will do that for us..,why add to the hate fest? Be....a...fan. Support....YOUR...team...Ravens need you.

The real question should be how many teams have made the playoffs after having a 3 game losing streak during the season - regardless of when it occurred. I think that's the more accurate representation of what our chances are. Our schedule is front loaded, the beginning was always going to be tough. Granted we're playing like garbage, but while playing like garbage have had a chance to, and maybe should have won, all 3. If we can start playing with some consistency, and the D can make just 1 4th qtr stop we can turn this around. Maybe Babin's pass rush, and Perriman's deep threat will be the 2 missing ingredients. IDK - trying to put a positive/hopeful spin on things today.

RAVENS NATION, its time we speak positive and speak the best for our team. Its clear things haven't gone our way this year. We need to speak encouragement, we need to join in as fans to be supportive of the members of this team. Truth is we can only hope they win on Thursday. Every or anything we say negatively does not guarantee us a win. Therefore, as fans, we need to be hopeful and cheer for our 0-3 team. Win or Lose, we love our Ravens and we should continue to support them. Not neglecting mistakes but RAVENSNATION is needed. Speak positive, speak life into this team. It begins with us!

two things:

1) kraft is a pampered priss that can make smug remarks when he is not face to face.

2) at this point in time the ravens young bloods need to get quit playing soft and start putting in work. there is a cancer in that locker room that needs to be removed. it may be a coach, player or ,the most dangerous thing, perception of entitlement. harbaugh needs to regain the reins and straighten this team out. too many dumb penalties. too many missed tackles. receivers not getting separation. no run game.

i am starting to wonder if the ravens stayed in california and sent the raiders back

oh man Dan Pees is still our DC if we loose Thursday night and have an abysmal defensive performance he is gone. Will give our New DC a chance to talk to his players for the extra days

1. Dear Kraft, since when have the Ravens ever been labelled as "sweethearts" to anyone?

2. The "bend but don't break" philosophy surrounding the D is only but so good. I fail to understand how our corners can lock down Peyton Manning in week 1 and get routinely torched since then.

3. Nice to see Steve Smith playing lights out, and Flacco to an extent (362 yards and 2 TDs to 1 pick ain't bad).

4. I like our selection of tight ends this year.

5. Our run game is horrendous.

6. Take away a few of those penalties and this game ends differently.

The Ravens have overcome mediocre to poor coaching on Defense for years since Chuck Pagano left with superior talent on the field. Now that Dean Pees has to actually coach and devise schemes the weakness of the Defense is exposed; remember that bend but don't break nonsense? As far as I'm concerned there is no position on Defense where the Ravens sorely lack talent. Harbaugh might have to fire Pees to get that Defense going.

I agree with Ultimanick, and add...lets turn our hate towards people like Kraft and others out there that have already counted us out. And are laughing at our misfortune, lets hate them and send our positive energy to our TEAM and help them get back on track. We are tough. I still see our team playing tough fighting each and every game despite all that's going wrong they are playing to win. Do you think anyone in NFL who are not Ravens notices our resilience? Doubt it.

Speaking positive was fine after the first loss maybe even the second but after 3 straight close losses NO I cannot be positive about the team. The fact is their is a coaching issue with the Ravens week after week the Ravens coaches try the same thing that fails and expect different results( definition of insanity?) This defense has been looking bad or 2 years now playing consistently off the ball for 7-8 yards allowing QB's to pick apart the secondary and not changing anything to get them uncomfy is a serious coaching downfall by Dean Pees ... Straight up this is what it is. I drank my fair share of purple koolaid and had my blinders on but i have stopped to see what is going on... Look at other teams games they make in game adjustments they evolve their scheme in game ... they produce with players no one has ever heard of why is that? COACHING we are not doing that here.

The 2012 Baltimore Ravens won the SB after having a three game losing streak during the regular season. We actually lost 4 of our last 5 that season.

This has got to be one of the worst cases of settling for mediocrity I have seen. Hear him, "things haven't gone our way..."; no pal, we have not played well enough to win. Own your failures instead of putting them on something other than you. "...We can only hope they win on Thursday"; really? The final line is so cute, "Speak positive, speak life into this team"; you're adorable! Guy, this isn't Pop Warner.
