@Purple Dawg, just stop it. Facts are Defense haa blown multiple leads and organization as a whole let go of to many playmakers and never replaced them. As for Flacco.. Hes got 4/4 TD to INT right now, a overall 82.2 rtng with 65.5 % completion thats with 2 straight weeks v Raiders and Bengals of 350 yrds 2Tds to 1 Int, a 102 rtng and 92 rtng. And both games he put us in position to win, either gave us the lead or had final drive. Only bad game was Denver 0 TDs to 2 INTs.. So its not Flacco take off your HATORADE.. Hes doing it with no run game, no defense, and no weapons outside Smith sr and sometimes a TE

Watching the remaining schedule, and considering we are capable of losing to Oakland, I think 4-12 is more than generous result for us. Wins against Browns at home, Jaguars, Rams and either against Chargers or 49ers.

 

4-12 should land us a comfortable draft pick around 4th-8th pick. There we now have couple of good choices, but I think DB would be the way to go. There will be some elite CB-s and S-s who are projected to be top 5 draft picks, but could slide if QB-s, WR-s start moving up the board. I'd love to see us grabbing a starting CB so Jimmy could play 2nd CB where he suits better. Then we MIGHT be capable of not allowing 2 100+ yard receivers in every game.

Joe isn't cutting it any more and to keep blaming other players is getting old! Count the INTs going back to the pats game! Bring facts instead of the red button!

While I agree that the bad Joe shows up at some point every game with bad decisions and INT's, to solely blame him is just ridiculous. The offensive line is not doing it's job in run blocking or pass protection. Except for SSS, the receivers are not getting open enough and when they do, (insert Marlon Brown), they drop the ball. And do we really need to single out the QB when the defense holds leads like a colander holds water.

Why not just say the team isn't very good right now.

Babin on bench. why? we have an entire secondary that is never ready to play and they are on the field. Cannot understand HARBS anymore. It appears that he is handicapping the team more now than ever. We acquire talent and then he appears to be afraid to put them into the lineup. Aren't these guys pros? Put Perriman on the field. If he can't cut it then get rid of him. who else is going to sign a no-load who cannot prove his worth? It's crisis time now and Dean Pees should be on the field doing his job instead of sitting in the booth being a spectator. Who is really running this team? And Flacco, shut up and just play. We don't need to hear all of that "we need to play better" BS. Just do it. The CFL actually looks good to me right now. They play football. Not this sissified brand that the NFL is now shoving down our throats. In the Ravens case, we are seeing more yellow flags on the field than points lately. NFL officials are a freakin' joke and they are ruining the game.

P.S. from my son - Without a doubt Steve Smith will go to the Hall of Fame and when he retires we will all miss him.

tell your son he's exactly right and SSS is putting this team on his shoulders and we keep letting him down.

SSS was awesome. Maxx Williams had some good plays (omit last Hail Mary throw). Defense did better but would have liked to see Babin in to help. It was a close game against a very talented team that tends to beat us more than we beat them anyway. I'm looking forward to Pittsburg, Im not disheartened by what I saw yesterday. Oakland was a shocker but this Bengal game went better, and by no means are Ravens playing their best but...not worst either. Their fighting, and the effort is seen. On to next week.

SSS, It's too bad there aren't 5 of you on the offense. Because you're amazing!! You have more gonads than the O, D and ST combined. If only our secondary had your heart and will to win. Because your teammates SUCK

SSS is an alpha male and Harbs has acquired a lot of beta males to the team these past years, which is great because beta males are supportive team players. But Harbs hopefully knows you still have to get more those alpha males (like SSS) on team too even if they butt heads with coaches and cause some friction (not Smith but others have), they still overall elevate the level of playing for entire team. Case in point: Ray Lewis. Total alpha male and I think in his mind considered himself the real coach of team. Probably not Harbs favorite situation to contend with that but the alpha males take care of team while on the field, so we need that. Don't just go for players that support you. I know in theory it sounds like a good team unit, but we are seeing that the lack of fire is result of not having enough alpha types. They seem to have been weeded out from the pack...well, time to get some back. A coach is only as valuable as his team performs.
