[News] Game Recap: Bengals 28, Ravens 24

Folks keep putting the blame completely on the defense...While the defense deserves a lot of blame, our offense deserves just as much..Its the same pattern EVERY game...Our offense struggles, gets down by two possessions, forcing our defense to stay on the field the entire first half, and then once the game is on the line, the offense lights up the field and our exhausted defense gives late td's in the waning moments of the game...If the offense could score AT LEAST 10 points in the first half, we would be in decent shape going into the second half of these games

That's because when we're down in the second half, we spread it out and play a faster tempo, and that's when the offense is at its best. At the beginning of games, we usually line up in power run formations and try to force the run game, and as much as fans and even coaches love to say that we're a "run first" team, all it does is hold us back. In Oakland, we came out with a spread, aggressive offense from the start, and the offense didn't struggle at all that game.

Anybody notice the exasperated look on Harbaugh's face the entire game? It was almost as if he was channeling the fans. The only thing is he's the head coach and can actually do something about the poor play and poor coaching...i think.

Amen @RavensBaltimore, they continue to try to force the run the entire first half.... And thats why they get down by multiple scores. They are best when uptempo they seem to score and move the ball almost at will

We are spoiled as a fan base however we do have some issues that need to be addressed and quickly but in no way do we need to clean house. We lost all our games but not by multiple touchdowns like some of these other teams. We just need to be able to finish and close out our games.

You're 100% right. Harb's has spoiled the Organization and fan base. Harb's could have multiple losing seasons (consecutive or not) and I still would not call for his head.T

This team is putt together so bad that it will take years to get back. A Ravens coach what's credit win a SB with out Ray and company. There just to any paycheck collectors on this team that don't want to earn it.

I don't envy br.com's job right now. Good luck putting lipstick on this pig for another 14 weeks. Seasons like this are why you get paid for your job.

I predict a wow look at Nick Boyle's 5 yd hurdle and stiff arm article, followed by a Flacco's hair looks great this year fluff piece.  At least pre-makeover Flacco was a winner, technically.

It's way to early to throw in the towel for the season, let alone giving up on the seasons following. Streaks including losing one's, are meant to be broken.

As much as I hate Harbaugh's method acting on the sideline every time we start to lose a game. I don't put the losing at his feet, I know it sounds crazy. The bottom line for me is that Pees, Trestman and Joe are letting him down. Why Joe? The panic throws. The intentional grounding was a panic throw. The short arm pass to S. Smith up the middle towards the end of the game was a panic throw. Also, the last throw of the game was a panic throw. These were all throws in which had Joe took a half a second to think he'd have made better throws or a better decision.

IN RESPONSE TO RAVENSBALTIMORE, You have to keep in mind we were playing an Oakland Raider team whose secondary was extremely banged up... Charles Woodson was playing with shoulder that was dislocated the week before..Again the Offense went quite on several occasions in that game that allowed the Raiders to gain a 10 point lead on us twice..Also, at the end of the game, the offense failed to score a touchdown which would have gave us a seven point lead as opposed to only a three point lead which obviously cost us the game in the end

Let's not forget we lost Torrey and Mcphee to free agency and traded Ngata . The Suggs injury now looks like the final nail in . We've consistently lost top players and this year it caught up to us . Now with poor play calling a porous secondary and an overrated O line and its easy to understand why we are 0-3 and season in jeopardy .

Note to our new Offensive Coach: Somewhere out there in this great land of ours there lies a law firm that is in need of a barrister, a lawyer or solicitor of the lower courts. Go for it, Mark. You may be the next Clarence Darrow. Coaching football is not the vocation you want to truly persue.

OMG. Just watched video of a portion of Harbaugh's post game interview. Some one asked him if Kendrick Lewis covering A.J. Green, Green scored a TD, was a blown play. Harb's said it was not. It was a designed play. Said it was zone coverage. 3 Deep Zone. Now, I know a coach or two on the defensive side should be fired. It is one thing to be dumb it's another to design stupidity into your game plan.

By the way Kendrick was given this assignment after going through concussion protocols. Are we serious!

Our spread offense has been successful against everyone, not just Oakland. We just didn't run it until the 2nd half in the other games, and not until the last possession in Denver. Our offense didn't go quiet in Oakland either. We had 0 3-and-outs, and we didn't score on every possession, but we consistently moved the ball and put points on the board all throughout the game. As far as today's game, Flacco even said in his press conference that we wasted the first half trying to run our offense. Look at every game this year. When we line up in power run formations(our so-called identity), usually at the beginning of the game, we are awful. When we spread them out and pick up the pace, we move the ball and score points on the vast majority of our possessions. That needs to be who we are, just like when we won the SB. We can't keep wasting possessions trying to fit some outdated mold.

can we pleeease cut kyle arrington or trade him? I feel like he's still on the patriots payroll with the way he plays

Another way the Patriots cheat. I love it. That's funny. All except the fact our coaching staff put, that incompetent Arrington, in the game. The Patriots are probably in the locker room, with their coaches, laughing out loud and busting their guts while saying....they put Arrington in again....         hahahahahahahahahah ahhhh hahahahah!

Our secondary is trash watch they make Vick look like a pro bowler again on Thursday night.

I'm sure they will, we made Batch look like a hero when he took over for Ben in our house no less

Just like I said, we're 0-3.

Why? Like I said again, Ozzie didn't properly address the secondary again this year, when everyone knew it was a problem last year. Additionally, he let Torrey Smith and Jacoby both walk- at least they stretched the field.

Do you really believe other teams are afraid of Campanero and Aiken? SSS had a great day, but as he did last year, he will fade toward the end of this year. I think some blame also has to go to Ozzie for not properly addressing these skilled positions.

At least, I think we can win next week with Big Ben out- thank, God. But our season is still over- I'm sick of Pees prevent defense at the end of games- and I'm also kind of sick of Harbs making excuses or yelling at Refs- he looks desperate.. Thanks, Oz, for doing nothing. This will be a down year for sure, but at least we'll get a higher draft pick next year. I just hope that Ozzie doesn't waste it on another safety (terrence brooks and matt elam, for real Ozzie?) or another middle of the road 'Bama player from his alma mater.

We now know of one Ravens DC that will/should not be a HC in the NFL. And the Ravens vanilla offense in the pre-season because we didn't want to give anything away, looks just plain vanilla. It doesn't look like there was anything to let out of the bag.
