time to start playing for the 2016 draft.. get a high pick, try to draft a Suggs replacement.. and whatever you do.. DO NOT DRAFT A WR. open some cap space and buy a Smith Sr. replacement.. and a #2 while you are at it.. don't fire Pees until the end of the season.. pretty sure the way the Colts are playing that we may be able to get Pagano back for next year. seriously.. this team is bad, very bad. nothing done now can salvage this year. it's time to start building for next year early.

Steve Smith Sr. is a beller and came to play like always!!! Its the defense and stupid penalties that continue to let us down. And well the Bengals once again embarrass us

I don't envy br.com's job right now. Good luck putting lipstick on this pig for another 14 weeks. Seasons like this are why you get paid for your job.

The old man SSS played his heart out, as if he was a decade younger. Came through time and again in the clutch. It's a heartbreaking loss for the whole team for sure but I feel the worst for SSS. I witness SSS scrap for every yard in his desire to win, then see SSS go take a breather or get an IV on the sidelines as he has to watch his defense give the lead away again. SSS is amazing but refused to focus on his accomplishments today to the press. Losing the game was what was on SSS's mind and I know his dream of getting to a Super Bowl in his retirement is fading fast at 0-3. I appreciate and marvel at SSS and will miss him badly next year. SSS kept it close and he gave everything he had.

No doubt the NFL can score at will on this defense. From top tier to bottom tier Pees mind has been picked over, especially the critical fourth quarter.

All of these problems were evident during preseason. Nothing was addressed, maybe coaches believed their own hype or "the play of the day" that we were often shown. Now reality is knocking as we wait for our first win.

Defenetly the worst thing of watching this team play so bad is that triple SSS is giving his all, and not gettting help from nobody

Difference in this game is the difference in last 2 games with Cinci. I believe the stat was Flacco 13-1 entering today in September home games. Only loss being last year, to Cinci, now 13-2..with 2 losses to Cinci.

The difference is Cinci sucked for so long they have virtually a all first round pick Secondary with Pacman Jones, they brought in. Kirkpatrick, Reggie Nelson, etc all drafted. And a All first 3 rounds picks LOADED offense for Dalton to play with...Aj Green,Tyler Eifort, Sanu, Marvin Jones, Gio Benard, Jeremy Hill etc... Something Ozzie has NEVER given Flacco.

They took Boldin away, they took Jacoby away, they took Torrey away, and never replaced them with equal or better Talent. Joe is stuck once again to make chicken salad out of chicken you know what with Steve Smith sr and a TE or 2.

The Offensive Coordinator is terrible - who runs off tackle twice on 3rd and 3 and then throws long to Williams on a 4th and 3 in double coverage with the game in the balance? I'll tell you who - Trestman. Go read the Chicago Tribune coverage and tell me why they fired him in Chicago. And while you're at it - give Dean Pees his pink slip and start over. These guys are clowns.

It will be tough to rebound from this start - to state the obvious.

It was nice to see Boyle and Williams making some plays as well as Camp.  Hopefully we'll start spreading it out more.  Aiken needs to get open.  At least it got to be entertaining.  Thought for a while there it was going to turn out being a slaughter.  Would like to try Waller at db; can't be much worse.  Fire Pees.

Thats why this offseason, I say no way Flacco can get a 20 mil extention... He needs to get a team friendly 15 mil area extention, because if he wants more Rings he needs more weapons on offense, then just 1 legit WR and a couple TEs.

And obviously defense needs to be addressed through draft or otherwise

How many times coaches are going to let AJ Green abuse them? Tired of seeing this over and over again. Is too much to expect a jam at the line, and double him on the field.? Why is Hill rotating to the opposite side of AJ Green? Just head scratchers. Who is evaluating the talent? Fire Pees

It is a shame we could not get the win today with Ben Rothlisberger going down today with the knee injury. We may have been able to get to 2-2 if Ben is still out with the knee injury.

I'd caution people from getting confused about our outting against Manning and holding him without a TD. If you go back and watch that tape you can see that he had chances deep and even made the right reads, but had his arm not been spent he wouldn't have floated some of those passes that could have gone for touchdowns.

So really what we have is a matter of coaching not getting through to players during the week, and playcalling that shows an apalling lack of situational awareness on game days.

I've defended Dean Pees up until now, but right is right. It's time to move on. Maybe hand the reigns to Monachino.
