Be great to see Williams tear the Steelers secondary a new one given how they wanted him too.

Would probably send them further into denial.

Is there a bigger disappointment in the league than this team right now? A VERY popular preseason Super Bowl pick. This is reminding me of the Saints season in 2012 (0-4 before finally winning in week 5, 7-9 finish).

This "emotion" will either make him play out of his mind, or he'll crumble and play even worse.

We'll see...

Let's hope it's the latter. We paid him a lot of money to be so. But honestly, I have no doubt in my mind Jimmy will turn it around. He has the skills and has proven it. It's hard for me to believe he just lost it all in one offseason.

This article right here shows why Smith Sr. is so important to our team right now.  I am hoping his locker room speech and private talks resonate with this team and they come out tomorrow night showing why they were a popular Super Bowl pick.  I am excited to see an emotional and desperate Ravens team tomorrow, they still have time to salvage the season and all they have to do is take it 1 game at a time!

Thanks for sharing this article. If any 1 person can get through to teammates, light a fire and help screw heads on straight, it's SSS.

No problem! It really makes you appreciate his fight and desire to win, especially when he could just look to pad his stats for the HOF since he is retiring.  Tomorrow night we will find out if his words stuck or not with this team

What are the odds that if we beat the Steelers and look convincing, the same people demanding we trade Steve Smith, fire Harbs, tank the season turn around and say "SUPERBOWL CONTENDERS11111111?"

Temper expectations, but have hope. If we win, we're back. We have a chance to make some history and fight for the division.

I just want our team to show-up as a whole and play. I know right now with the Ravens record its hard to be positive but I know we got great players on this team and they just need to put it behind them and come together as a team. I along with a lot of other fans have said things on these boards the last few weeks just purely on emotion. Going to always pull for our Ravens.

this.

The next four, Pitt, Cleveland, San Francisco, and Arizona will be huge for us. If a miracle happens and we win the next four, I'll have high hopes we can compete for the division since 6 out of the next 9 will be at home. But that looks bleak so 6th seed would truly be a blessing.

I can honestly see us winning the next 3, but Arizona...nahhhh!!

Lol! Wishful thinking. It would be a miracle if we won that game, seriously.

Monroe, Gillmore, Canty, and Perriman all ruled OUT for tomorrow.

Monroe is now out a 3rd consecutive game with a first quarter week 1 concussion.  Wow

Monroe being out is the worst out of the 4.  Hurst has been terrible these 3 games.  What if we kicked KO over to LT and had Urschel fill in at LG until Monroe returns? Maybe a lineup switch will help ignite this line and get the ground game going

We're all pissed that Monroes not back, the sad thing is Monroe's not even good.

This is why I'm not losing sleep just yet.  Arizona doesn't look winnable but the other three are.  But look at the next four games in the division.

Steelers - vs Ravens, @ Chargers, vs Cardinals, @ Chiefs

Bengals - vs Chiefs, vs Seahawks, @ Bills, bye

Browns -  I don't really care.

Can anyone really see the Bengals or Steelers sweeping their next four weeks?  Pittsburgh without Ben and Cincinatti with a QB who's destined to stumble?  I can easily see either of them losing at least two.  And if the Ravens go 3-1 as they can, that puts them at 3-4 or 2-4 at worst with the Bengals sitting about 4-2 (as I expect them to lose at least 2).  Honestly, without Ben I can see Pittsburgh winning 1-2 so that's 4-2 also.

The division isn't lost yet.  Too many games left.  Of course we need changes to be made.  Like the defense stepping up and anybody replacing a "#2" that can't get a catch

I think if we win the next 3 we will have the momentum and confidence to beat Arizona. I believe that's a prime time game too right? That will be the game that thrusts us back into contention. (And obviously put us back above .500) won't be easy but if we start clicking on both sides of the ball and get some guys back from injury , Monroe , canty, Perriman, etc. it will certainly be doable. But we gotta win tomorrow night before we can even think about Arizona.

Really hoping for a beat down without Ben but I get the feeling Vick will actually be decent. I think we win but not in the dominate fashion everybody is hoping for. I think Le'Veon gives us some problems both running and receiving and AB get's some timely 1st down catches but ultimately our offense scores enough to keep them at bay and squeak out the first W of the season.

Yeah we need to wake up NOW. But the division definitely isn't lost yet, not at all.

Yeah, Steelers won't go down easily but a blowout in our favor is what our team needs. That would be huge and truly a confidence booster, though I doubt it will happen. I just want the win honestly.

I wish people would quit underestimating our opponents. I know we don't actually play the game but it makes us look mighty silly if and when we lose. Whether it's Vick, Landry, Brown or even Mike Tomlin, I'll always worry when we play the Steelers.

But also be fair to us. Yeah, we're missing important players but so is Pittsburgh. They're without Shazier and Big Ben.

Agreed, I fully expect this to be a close game, I think expecting any sort of comfortable win let alone a blowout is setting yourself up for disappointment after these last 3 games.

Honestly worried about the defense, how sad is the state of that unit that even without Ben there is still some doubts about getting stops Thursday. People keep saying "corners, it's the corners, I hope ____ can play corner", imo it's more about the the pathetic pass rush. Za'Darius Smith has been useless, McClellan has been useless, Upshaw has no pass rush moves whatsoever, we are sorely missing Suggs. Opposing QB's have had all day to throw, no hurries, no pressure, of course they're shredding the secondary, these QB's are getting outstanding looks at their WR's and don't even have to worry about pressure. I find it funny how the narrative has been all about the corners and not the pass rush. Please give Babin some burn in Pittsburgh, the guy can flat out pass rush if nothing else. I think the main reason Doom was even able to strip sack Dalton was because he was so comfortable in the pocket he didn't even sense the pressure.

I think the game will either be a mutual shootout or a defensive brawl. I don't see any one team running away here (lol, pun intended with Vick). The defense also significantly concerns me as well. It's hard to have faith in them.

The only good thing we have going for us is we've ironically done better in Pittsburgh than at home. Hopefully that steak continues for only this game.
