A couple thoughts...

1. The front office and coaches put way too much trust in players like Aiken and Brown. Both were undrafted for a reason and neither have shown playmaking ability. They definitely deserve spots on our roster, but not in such a large role. Lost in all of this is how invisible Aiken is on the field.

2. The bad news is that we are 0-3. The good news is that we had late leads in all 3 of those losses. We aren't getting blown out in these games. We just aren't disciplined enough to close them out. All in all, we lost 3 straight games. Whether it happened in weeks 10,11,12 or 1,2,3. Win Thursday, and then take care of the Browns, and we are 2-3 heading to SF.

3. Our pass rush needs needs to be addressed this offseason. We can't rely on Suggs and Doom for eveything. We need young depth. Players with fire and energy. We had a few, but unfortunately they went on to larger roles and contracts elsehwere.

4. Perriman is going to be a player for us. I don't understand why everyone is upset with a player for being hurt. Misleading injury updates aren't his fault.

5. Camp needs more snaps. He has Julian Edelman written all over him. Short passes with YAC is where this league is. I'm tired of watching Marlon and Aiken run long routes in slow motion with the corners right beside them.

Good points and as soon as Perriman comes back, our guys will get open more.  Aiken and Brown are just possession receivers so we are missing a top off guy.  Perriman will take care of that if he can stay healthy.

People are jumping on Periman's criticism cuz of his injury.  Hopefully, he can stay healthy....

What we lack is the running game; we shouldn't use Forsett too much cuz Talifero and Allen are running better with Trestman scheme....

Considering our secondary is basically the autobahn I'd be surprised if he has under 250yards

We've given up 2 consecutive career days, why not a 3rd?

I expect several Vines of 2004-like Mike Vick on Thursday.

I know you guys are down on your team right now…but i never go into a Steelers/Ravens game thinking, "we got this." I expect a close, grind it out game decided in the 4th quarter. Ben out certainly improves your chances…Vick is a turnover machine and only has 3 days to work with receivers. Ten days later against the Chargers will be a different story.

Who is the back up QB for the Steelers, after Vick? I could easily see him getting knocked out of the game.

Landry Jones.

Doubt it, Ravens are awful at rushing the passer, steelers have a good O-line plus Bell is a great blocker.

The news articles after Thursday's game will be either one of these:

"Is the Ravens' season over?"

"Without Big Ben is the season over for the Steelers?"

lmbo at the very accuracy of this statment.

Well I certainly hope THAT isn't the case. Ravens only hope is to have at least a 3 score lead into the 4th! Our defense likes to give up multiple leads in the 4th quarter.

This is the worst possible scenario for the Steelers - losing Roethlisberger and having to play a TNF game against a division rival.  It will take quite a lot of work for Vick to get up to game speed in just three days of practice.

That being said, he could just dump it off to Le'Veon 30 times in a row and manage to fool Dean Pees' defense.

No it's not!  Don't fool yourself!  Sure, there is no Big Ben but the Steelers are coming off a 2 game win streak, their playing at home and they'd love NOTHING MORE than to stomp the Ravens even deeper in the AFC North cellar by dealing them an 0-4 start on primetime, Thursday Night football!  You know why?  Cause the Ravens would LOVE to do the same to them if the shoe was on the other foot!

The Steelers are also known for rallying around a back-up QB. Plus, it's Jerome Bettis night and we're traveling on a short week. I think there is no disadvantage for the Steelers.

Exactly M3!  Exactly!

"Smith spent much of the day matched up against Green, and the fifth-year cornerback was visibly upset after the receiver torched Baltimore's defense for 227 receiving yards. Smith spent several minutes sitting on a stool staring into his locker. A few teammates came over to offer words of encouragement.

Several players had already showered and left the stadium, but Smith was still in full uniform sitting on the stool. When he finally showered and changed, Smith was still too upset to face questions from a group of about two dozen reporters.

"I'm too emotional to talk right now," Smith said quietly. "I'll talk with you this week.""

Good!  When you get torched like this for 2 weeks straight you need to sit by yourself and figure this thing out!

Vick is fairly likely to try to run so maybe if a Raven remembers how to tackle we might see Landry Jones.

I've always said this about Vick!

Bad news for the Steelers. Apparently Big Ben has a bone bruise. We all know how those go. He'll probably miss the rest of the season.

This would be great for us if we had a good team. Beyond ticked off. The one year our division rival looks vulnerable and we look even worse. Edited by Cillmatic

I'll tell you what....game #4.   Possible 0-4.

We better play the best game of the season this week.   If our players and personnel cannot stop themselves from being a mistake free, and give the 3-0 Squeelers the best shot at Steelers on week 4?...RAVENS player doesn't deserve to be in that purple uniform.   I don't care a hoot if every single one of them gets the can.   This is a game I will watch alone, ready to throw the tv out the door if [crap] hits the fan.

WIN this game.  I don't care if we go 1-15.   JUST WIN THIS GAME!!!

Why didn't we snag Jared Allen? Sheesh

High priced and not very good. Also has been a pretty poor fit as a stand up 3-4 rusher.

We're better off without.

Crockett Gillmore not on the field for Ravens. Chris Canty, Breshad Perriman and Tray Walker not on the field either. Guess that Perriman re-injury might've been more serious than some thought. We need Gillmore back asap.

True, but it was just a glorified walk-through. Won't really see much actual "practice" this week with only three days off.

This reminds me of the time in middle school where this girl challenged me to an arm wrestling contest. As a boy, I was expected to beat her, and winning wouldn't have meant much. However, had I lost, I never would have heard the end of it.

This is kind of how I look at this coming Steelers game. I would much rather play a difficult game vs Big Ben than completely humiliate Michael Vick. If we beat Vick, then there will be much less enjoyment because that's what we are supposed to do. If we lose, it will be completely humiliating.

I lost that arm wrestling contest btw. Please don't lose this game, Ravens.

This is encouraging...

Uhh, yeah maybe, but Big Ben going down is still a big loss for the Steelers.  I'm not saying whether or not its going to allow us to win the game, just that the timing really sucks for Pittsburgh.

We have Babin waiting to play, lol. I'm actually, wondering who becomes inactive so Babin can be activated?

This game is going to be different without Ngata, Suggs and Big Ben. It's time for new faces to step forward.

First one in a long time without Polamalu, too.
