I feel good about this one...home game (finally) bout time! And we need to forget those past 2 road games and just play our best football. GO RAVENS!

The only game I got to go to a game last year was against the Bengals. I was sitting in the endzone where the infamous Hail Mary lost us the game. All fans were stunned and heart broken at that loss. Time to serve up a little pay back from the Ravens. I am watching from home this year and I hope to hear the fans at M&T as loud as ever through the TV showing their support for us to help the team take this win. Hope the roar is so loud that Dalton can't communicate so the defense is able to get Dalton on his backside and pressured, physically and mentally, all game long.

Well we will find out today just what we have this year. I am really concerned that the week 1 defense was not as good as we think and if so it eliminates the comparison and a potential bright spot. Given Denver's performance against the Chiefs last week I am inclined to think that the defensive showing week 1 was just as likely a by product of Manning still struggling with his new offensive program.

The first 2 games could have gone either way. We are looking more like the Giants than the Patriots.

Right now I am wishing we could have all the Broncos who used to be Ravens (including the coach) back with us.

I saw a "Low Hanging Fruit" segment on TV showing how well coached the Patriots' rookies on the offensive line are looking. If our OL can't get it going, we need to examine what has changed since last year.

What? The defense "shut down Peyton Manning"? Really? Oh, the defense that let him keep the ball for 11 4th quarter minutes instead of pressuring him and taking away the run, which the Broncos used each for down for 8 yard gains to eat up the clock. That defense? What a crock. Manning couldn't hit the broad side of a barn more than 10 yards away. He couldn't run. He folded like a knapkin when pressure was brought, yet the Ravens let him take all the time in the world in the 4th quarter. When you rush 3 men, drop 8 into coverage, and still give up massive yardage, your plan isn't working.

I think they will want to shut down our run game early so I would like to see us spread the ball around like we had success doing last week and hopefully Gilmore can pick right back up where he left off last week. I would also like to get Juice and Maxx Williams more involved this week. If we can get the passing game going early, then we can turn Forsett loose. The Bengals are not going to start this game allowing us to run the ball and I do not want to have a bunch of three and outs, get the defense winded, then have them strike first and us playing catch-up for a third game.

Hopefully it is minor and he just decided to shut it down as a precaution.....I am trying to stay positive.

me too. He didn't seek any trainers after it happened and continued catching passes so it can't be too serious, but it's definitely not a good thing regardless. I'm gonna be even more nervous when he starts takin hits to that area.

Hensley said that he looked better running every time he saw him lately. that was an hour ago so maybe he was getting to the limit of how much he wanted to push it and did shut it down as a precaution or was just a lil sore. which does happen with recovering joints that have been braced or immobilized

I sure hope that the one hi-lite of this game is not the A-10 flyover. It's hard to envision the defense stopping the Bengals today when they could not stop the Raiders last week. The Offense is going to need to light it up big today if they are going to win. Unfortunately, this is the only game on local TV at 1:00 today.

we all knew he wasnt playing today we just dont want him to aggravate the injury to be out a lot longer than the "october return"

Well there is going to be a  J.O. tribute video... so not just the A-10 flyover

That seems like a good stategy for a win today. I would love for us to execute it for 4 quarters. Maybe even against Dalton's backup ;)

I know one thing to watch is the pass rush, because without babin I don't see us generating enough of it. I don't ce if he knows the defense or not all he needs to do is rush the passer an he's got to be better at it then upshaw an zadarius smith. Eugene Monroe being hurt all the time drives me crazy, an perriman looks like he won't be playing for another month based on he hurting his leg again. I really wish the front office would trade for somebody who can stretch the field.

I'm trying to be positive about this game today but I just don't know. I'm about to lose it!
