Week 3 - Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals

He did. And Osemele cost them. Not Flacco.

Flacco definitely contributed when he threw the ball too low after SS's drop. That would have been a first down and that mess at the end might not have happened... or more likely it would have happened later.

I am fed up with this defense. Something's got to give. If it's Pees, so be it. Something needs to change NOW. Can't replace the majority of the defensive players so replacing the DC may have to be the only short term answer.

Dalton outplayed Flacco.....seriously that is an end of the world indicator to me.

Flacco really outplayed Dalton. Dalton has prime #1 receiver and a good receiving core while going against our secondary. Flacco has Steve Smith who is 36 years old and has retirement plans while going against a pretty good bengals secondary.

Dalton's clutch gene is called : an green, sanu, Jones, hill, eifert, benard, top OL. He has play makers and protection

And we have a old man playing who is the only receiver who can make plays. Team is trash.

The reason why we didn't advance to the AFC Championship last year was because Jimmy was out.

The last 2 games, Jimmy hasn't been that special and the entire secondary is playing poorly.

We do not have a free safety. Hill is good, but not over the top. He has the be in the classic SS position to be effective.

Flacco isn't as bad as most make him out to be, but he is also nowhere near worth the contract he got. That was just amazing timing for him.

I used to think that Pees was great. Now instead of bend but don't break our defense is just break... Defense isn't defined by one game said Pees and this game added to your resume....

Why did we bother to pay Flacco so much? He is not worth half that money. Here is my list of people that haves to go:

Dean Pees

Marc Trestman

John Harbaugh

Joe Flacco

Justin Forsett

Ozzie has a bad habit of paying players after just 1 good year.

Grand ma'

Is that you ?

Very true, but then so has everyone else... especially in this game.

Also not just on our side of the ball ... Penalties in this game were vast; I feel the Refs were trigger happy (didn't affect the game immensely) but still were a factor.

The offense again put up decent numbers for what we got...  defense again....  Let's us down...  Something has to happen this week.

Pees goes???  Secondary coach goes???

Yes to both. I'd be calling for Smith's starting position too, but it's not like there is anyone better or even remotely close.

and can we just point out the personal foul called on jeremy zuttah earlier in the game, when he made a routine football block? he is blocking upfield on a designed screen play, and blocks a would-be tackler with helmet contact, and its a personal foul for unnecessary roughness... im sorry, is this not football?

I just don't know that we go into heads rolling mode at this point, however, people are being put on notice and a search for alternatives are likely on.

It's 4th and 17 Flacco shouldn't be in that position anyway. Don't understand how you guys blame it on him

Because it's all they have. It's sickening and shows how bad a fanbase we can have.

He still found a way to win. That's all that matters. Yes Flacco has always lacked tools, but even when guys are in position to make the play...both sides of the ball...they have failed. Flacco got outplayed. The throws off the back foot, missed open WRs and INT.

Ahh very true.

That's two games in a row that a lineman just had to screw up the perfect play.

And it might have been three, but I didn't see the first game. In fact, I didn't actually see much of the second game either.

Since they play so many West and primetime games, I'm going to be spared a lot of their losses it seems.

Right. He had won the game for us in the 4th. Then the D gives up 80 yds in one play. Then we score again and The D is fooled once more. Then we are in 4 down territory...get the 1st and KO screws us! But essentially the loss is on the D. Their play the entire game was Horrible. Jimmy gets a F today too. Zuttah had killer penalties too.

With the core players that made this team work all gone now, they are playing vanilla football. Time to rebuild!!!!!!!!!

On the bright side, we still have 13 games to go, and the AFC is looking pretty wide open right now.

On the bad side, we're pretty bad on both sides of the ball.

I'd pretty much concede the AFC to new england 3 games into the season
