[News] Breshad Perriman Returns To Practice

69 posts in this topic

Great news! But, really fellow fans, let's keep a dose of reality here. With all the frustration that's built up over his situation it's going to be easy for people to expect too much from him right away and look to him to be our "savior." I certainly hope we fans can be smarter than that. He just took his First step back into our practices. Now he has to get himself in game shape, and we have to remember that he hasn't even had the time necessary to adjust from the college game to the NFL. We just Can't expect him to hit the field and look like a Dez Bryant, Julio Jones, A J Green, Odell Beckham Jr., or the like. I still believe that he has that kind of potential but, given this Very untimely injury, it's most likely going to take a while and I look for him to be a Totally different receiver Next year than he will be this year, even though I expect steady improvement over the course of this season. I just urge all our fans to give him the time he needs, support him, and pray that he can stay healthy so that his progression does not get interrupted again. I, for one, am very excited about the potential this guy possesses. Good luck, Breshad!

I sure hope he has a great year.  I just can't understand the "so called" Ravens fans who labeled him a bust b/c he was injured. Kind of pathetic if you ask me.

I've been saying that throughout his whole injury caused absence. And, apparently, from the number of positive votes your post received, there's quite a few fans that feel the same way. Reading some of the posts directed towards this poor kid has been appalling. I've been kind of shocked over it. Rather than "bust", I still believe that this kid is the real deal and if our fans will just give him the time it takes Most receivers to adjust from the college game to the NFL's, I think that they're going to be Very pleasantly surprised. Good luck, Breshard, Don't put too much pressure on yourself, and make very sure that you're ready to play before being rushed into a game. We need you for the long haul.

BP should not play unless cleared an a full week of practice on the field. My thought on this subject! I trust the offense & defense along with the coaches , and fans to be up for the match's ahead as a hole.Go Ravens

He has a long way to go before I start caring if he is on the field. Ravens miss out on the best wide receiver draft class. Joe has had not ONE pro bowl receiver in EIGHT years. OZZZZIEEE!

Look the kid had a big time knee issue, so he is not going to be as fast as the day he showed up and by the time he is back to some what of a decent level this season it could be too late to even matter.
