[News] Breshad Perriman Returns To Practice

69 posts in this topic

I think we should let it play a couple of series just to let him run the route and maybe use him as a decoy. That may keep the Bengals off balance and open up other routes for the receivers and Joe. Also that will give Breshad a chance to see the speed of the game and then turn him loose on Thursday.

He won't play against Cincinnati... But against the Steelers I can see it. I can't wait to see him play in person against the Cardinals. He is going to be the steal of the draft. He made Bortles look good. Bortles wouldn't be in the league if it wasn't for Perriman.

I sure hope he has a great year.  I just can't understand the "so called" Ravens fans who labeled him a bust b/c he was injured. Kind of pathetic if you ask me.

I highly doubt he plays this weekend, and next week is the worst time possible for a Thursday game. It would be nice if he could get a full week of practice in before playing against the Steelers. Anyway, the fact that he's on the practice field at least shows that his return isn't too far off.

Yeah, I think calling him a bust because of one injury that only keeps him out a few games in insane. I think some people let their emotions associated with the current moment completely override any sense of logical thought.

Our fanbase can be quite fickle at times.

Not till Thursday night. We were planning to play Cinncy without Breshard so let's follow through on it. I think it's still too soon to go up against NFL opponents who would hit him hard just to say "welcome to the NFL rookie". I wouldn't want him out for another long time. Sunday is a must win, but not worth injuring our no.1 pick.

I just hope this guy can produce, for that is what we need production, now, not to take anything away from Steve Smith Sr. because Steve has been holding it down for real catching balls like crazy, but he does need help so they won't double team him like they do, if we have another threat for a catch or a touchdown they couldn't double team him!!!

He just got to practice late, Harbs probably made him run home from Oakland to get his knee in shape......:)

He is desperately needed on the field, but don't push him into the Bengals game if he is not ready. Even though going 0-3 is not a good thing, making sure Perriman is able to play the remainder of the season is. With the Steelers powerful offense and weak defense having Perriman this next Thursday is critical to the Ravens chances to beat the Squealers. Although this isn't meant to be an homage to the late Yogi Berra, the only way the Ravens are going to beat the Steelers is to outscore them. Yes, I know that is obvious, but the ability to outscore the Steelers is drastically improved with Perriman on the field.

I'm not sure, if the impact of this rookie will be as big as we hope, but our WR corps clearly isn't as talented as we once hoped/believed. BP would give Joe that speed to keep defenses honest. I just hope Joe stops being scared of his own arm strength. No more underthrows, atleast not for our speedstar!
