[News] Who's Practicing, Who's Not vs. Bengals 9/23

I hope we can keep up with Cincy. for 4 quarters. If we score a touchdown ever quarter, I think, plus some FG's or Special Teams scores, I think we'll be o.k. I worry about Cincy. scoring 40 points on us, though. Not optimistic, as they have the complete package on offense, for sure.

We better have a kliller running game because we are going to have a miserable time getting any passing rhythm against Cincinattis DBs without a deep presence. This is seriously highly irritating that Perriman is still out like this. Magic Johnson got through Aids faster than Perriman and his knee

Perriman will be back in a couple more weeks. Unfortunately by then we could very possibly be 0-4. Magic Johnson has HIV, he never developed full blown AIDS.

I hope Melvin has adopted the habit of film study because he is very physically gifted and has a knack to make plays. The playoffs were tough on him but I really like his style and physical play! let's rough those receivers up at the line! and let Will Hill lurk the secondary. I also wouldn't mind seeing Terrence Brooks get some snaps at FS. I think he has some real talent if developed. He's fast, physical and a good hitter.

I see a big Will Hill hit coming this weekend with Melvin back because being physical at the line of scrimmage will create those things.T-Brooks should get some snaps too.

Can't say Perriman is a bust just yet, but he is sure making Ozzie look bad for having drafted him. But then again, Ozzie's drafts haven't been anything to write home about for the last couple years and I'm tired of him trying to fill hole on the cheap. I

Don't need to rush anyone because of the 0-2 start! Ravens should have won in denver and that's it! They will come home and "REPRESENT"!

My friends are starting to call Monroe the "part time Left tackle" since he only seems to play part of each season. GO RAVENS!

Perriman getting hurt and missing a few games does not make Ozzie look bad in any way. That can happen to any player. Perriman stayed healthy in college, so there's no evidence that his knee injury is anything but bad luck, and there's no reason to believe he won't return 100%. There has never been a GM in the history of the league who could predict a fluke injury, and even if Ozzie did know that he would miss the first month of the season, I'm sure he would have still drafted him anyway if he can become the player that they expect him to become, which obviously remains to be seen.

This entire secrecy issue about Perriman including no interviews with him is strange, unusual and unlike what we are offered by the PR office.  Just because he jogs on a field does not necessarily indicate he is game ready.  Timing factors abound. I was hoping Waller could suffice and that is not so.  Aiken and Brown are desprately needed to attain the grit and determination of SSS.

When this Sunday arrives, I hope Sanu does not have a lights out day like Cooper and Crabtree demonstrated.  Our D must dictate the game and with Melvin back that is good.  Joe needs time to get the ball to reliable SSS and Croc..  I believe we win because we hate to lose and hate to lose to those guys.

You have a realistic opinion.  I do not know why some members gave you negs.

Perriman out since July, did he break his leg?

Since its a greater mystery that the holy ghost, I tend to think its a ligament issue.  The PR department isn't teeling the fan base (and opposing teams), so its all conjecture from us

It's been stated for a while now that its a ligament issue. No new revelations here.  He has a strained PCL, Posterior Cruciate LIGAMENT.

I just hope Monroe is OK, I know that concussions are no joke and he has already been out all last week.

I hope he's ok too because I hate to see anybody hurting but, you know, he's hurt a Lot. Hurst had a horrendous day when he replaced Monroe in Denver, as did Wagner, so don't just complain about Hurst alone. Hurst played Much better against Oakland, protecting Joe very well. Remember that he played very well last year, as well, when he replaced Monroe when he was hurt that year too. Monroe has been a disappointment, and I am not so sure that with a bit more experience Hurst might prove himself to be, at least, as good as Monroe, if not better. Monroe, heal, and then it's past time that you start earning the big money you squeezed out of the Ravens. You need to play up to your contract.

So what again caused it tripping over the white line?

757 I knew it. I guessed it was a ligament injury  Good intel.  You must have a good source as I did not find that on forum or post regions.  Honestly, I did not see the description of his injury.  Thanks. BTW> Someone actually negged me  I typically de-neg people as I think it is an asinine feature.  They should modify that to like only

Maybe he's just Camera shy like Marshawn Lynch.

I'm starting to think that the reason behind everything was harbaugh was trying to avoid a sense of urgency and with the state of our inexperienced wide receivers he didn't want anybody to panic and think the sky was falling. Which is why initially he said day to day... Then a week or two ... Then before the end of training camp ... And so on. He just kept kind of stalling and buying time so the narrative before the season opener wouldn't be a "weakness at the wide receiver position" type of thing. If that makes any sense ? Anyway just a thought. Obviously things didn't go according to plan and things starting to unravel as I'm sure he didn't imagine us starting out 0-2
