Watched this guy from highschool just happens , I'm a Ravens fan in Louisiana, this kid is a proven winner starting from his highschool days. And his whole career he's played alongside good LSU backs holding his own. Run's hard and also play's hard. Also wore the coveted # 18 worn by LSU players, who teamates elect for showing leadership in locker room and out . Maybe he can make the practice squad. Also in my opinion he outplayed Buck. Ok I'm done venting..!

I feel your pain. I wasn't aware of the info you just shed on Mcgee, but I can relate because I had high hopes for the team to swap out Aiken for Daniel Brown. Honestly we really don't have an elite RB right now. Not good because we need to run the ball to get wins this season.

Can we cut Pees and put him on the PS??? We all know he would clear waivers... :)

I mean what would you expect?, we lost Ngata, Mcphee, and now Suggs. Not much he can do without leadership on the defense.

They're trying to stack up on CB's now because of that Raiders game. there going quantity over quality. Not good, we just didn't have leadership on our defense against the Raiders. Someone has to step up and be a leader on this defense.

Cannot let the other team strike 1st! The Ravens got away from the pass because Joe use to get crazy numbers like I said before he barely break 200yds while big Ben and Antonio Brown breaking records! Every WR on the sidelines need his chinstrap fastened and ready to roll and don't get off the gas! Triple " S ", Marlon, Kamar, Campy and Co. are ready so LETS GO! Run every 5 to 6 plays to take control of the game and start this WIN STREAK!

I didn't know that there was a spot open on the PS, although the article said that Magee would be a candidate for one. I hope that there is a spot for him because he impressed me this preseason. Buck has started to look a little better than he did in preseason. I thought that Magee definitely played better than him in preseason, but that doesn't ever matter. They're always going to keep a 4th rd draft choice over an UDFA. I, even thought Magee looked fairly good on the few punt return opportunities they gave him. I wouldn't be surprised if he finds a job somewhere should he not land on our PS.

Look how many players NE loses per year, and they still dominate, because players either play within the system, or get cut....They don't change their system, and it is no excuse for Pees not to find ways to get to the QB, even if you have to play a 4-3 at times to rush 4, but rushing 3 on a lot of 3rd and longs is a joke....His blitz packages are the same and predictable, nothing exotic about them....

Lets be honest. We have no real o-fence. No deep threat, No line of any sorts with the exception of Marshal Yada and Joe is the most over rated QB. Toss in a play book that was written up by high schooler's and you have a D- attack. So either it's lack of talent or lack of a real plan or scheam, or just poor coaching. You tell me??

I agree it seems as if the only time we get pressure is if our OLBers win their one on one situations. If they do not the whole defense is shattered and falls apart.

It sucks for any young player to get cut and not live their dream. But let's be honest. Forsett is the present, Taliaferro is the future, and Buck Allen is an interesting question mark. So long as those three guys stay HEALTHY? We do not need to be carrying a fourth RB on the active roster.

No joke... I think we overhyped our corners in the offseason. Jimmy Smith is our only decent ones and the others are day and night. But I disagree with your other post saying that Pees has nothing to work with when Suggs, McPhee, and Ngata are gone. Sure Suggs hurts a lot, but you still have two pro bowl caliber inside linebackers in CJ Mosley and Daryl Smith, along with Dumervil who is one of the best pass rushers in the game. Then on top of that you have an elite edge setter in Courtney Upshaw who called the plays in the Super Bowl a couple years ago for us as a rookie. There is leadership. I feel like Pees has no faith in the players on the field so he has our corners play 10 yards off the cornerbacks to give them a head start and then they get burned because of it. We have a solid core to our defense and we are not using it properly. Take more chances it will lead to more turnovers and getting turnovers win games. I honestly believe if Flacco didn't throw that pick six to Talib, which is one of the few throws Flacco has thrown that has made me face palm, we would have won in Denver. Defense needs to play more aggressive. Our safeties can stop the passes up top, the corners just need a decent shot at covering the ball or they are going to just get short throws for a lot of yards after the catch.

Europoljuice - Step back from that ledge my friend - Its not as bad as you think. 1, we had 2 road games to start the season out west, which I have never seen in 44 years of watching NFL football. 2, we could of won both games which makes it even more frustrating. The offensive line did better in Oakland and Hopefully we get Monroe back this week. On the ravens last drive in the Oakland game they should of run it twice to run out the clock, I'll give you the coaching had a hiccup their, but they did go for it on fourth down earlier in the game and made it. As for Joe being over rated, when you put up 30 points and the defense can't hold the other team that's not Joes fault, just like in the New England game when he threw 4 touchdowns last year, if the defense had held we would of won the game played the Colts, and Joe probably would of been asked to go to the Pro bowl.

theres a lot more he can do like rush more than 3 and stop having our CBs play 10 yards off

You are right about us having very good ILB's with Mosley & Smith. But as much as I have always vouched for Upshaw he hasn't really shown any ability to set the edge yet. Most of his top plays were because of Suggs & company opening lanes for him to run through. But we need more production from our DT's. I did make a mistake when I criticized Za'darius Smith. After watching the tape, he actually did get some pressure on Carr. Just not in time to keep Carr from completing passes.
