Its not the end of the world, just a bad start, this team has triumphed many times in the past, where everyone ruled us out but we still prevailed. We need to stay undefeated until the bye week. Come home, find ur footing and start winning.

He should come down on Ozzy and the coaches their the ones who picked and train them. O you can do that to the coaches their relatives.

John: the best defense is the offense. Get the football, keep the football and make smart patient plays. Who is calling the offensive sets and plays? Why not have a two back offensive set to give Joe an extra count or two to make a good pass. The entire team looks out of sync most of the time. Settle down and do the simple plays for positive yardage. Be a little more creative on defense, please. If you keep giving the opponents all day to pass, then they will eat your lunch. Lastly John, show some spirit on the field. The entire staff and players look flat and unmotivated. That is your job to lead this Ravens team. Show us you have something still in your tank and the players and fans will react accordingly.

Calling out everyone except the real problem. Let go of Pees Harbs. It is time.

Let's start a petition to get him out of here. I know Harb's is not happy with...#PRESSBOXPEES! :wifey:  :argh:  :ravensquote:  :link:  :tombstone:

Again, as I suggested before, put McClellan in Sugg's OLB slot. He will play well and get sacks. Have faith coach...he will do much better than Z. Smith did. Why would a rookie get the nod over a veteran 4th year player?

Any channce we can push Ed Reed's induction up to next week and get Ray Lewis and Sizzle to come out to our sidelines as well? If we can't haveum on the field let's atleast go all hands on deck on the sidelines.

0-3 may not technically mean we're down for the count, but emotionally it'll be a body blow.

Fans and Media may not be the Directors or the Producers, b6t they know a bad Movie when the see one.
Some Fans have seen what good defensive schemes look like, and the Never come in the form of a prevent zone defense.

I agree that Pees is a huge part of the problem. But another part of the problem are the players on the field. Some just aren't as talented as we've been led to believe. Webb is done. Jernigan plays stupid, Canty is old. Williams can't do it by himself. Hill looks like a decent pickup but the jury is still out on Lewis. He looked lost.

I'm questioning some of the personnel decisions Ozzie has made with the draft and free agency. I think he believes all the hype and thinks he can sign anyone on the cheap and they'll turn into great players just because they're Ravens now. There's a reason they're available.

McClellan was already out there on several snaps, usually on run downs, but also on a few pass plays. He is markedly worse than Suggs in both situations, though better than Z.Smith vs the run.

Upshaw is not a great pass rusher, which is why he usually goes out on pass downs. With sizzle out they could lean more toward Dumervil. Not much push in the middle to help the edge guys either.. I think Babin will help with this, rotating with upshaw like he usually does with Dumervil

Like I said before the year started, we aren't making the playoffs- Ozzie didn't do anything with the secondary (Webb has got to go), and he let our two speedsters walk away- for what? An unproven rookie who can't even put his cleats on the grass until next month.

We are unfortunately going to get beat pretty good by the Bungals this weekend- they've improved while we've regressed. With a clear 0-3 start this year, we're not making the playoffs. You'll probably see Bisciotti make Harbaugh get rid of Pees at the end of this year. It's not his fault because we should've improved our cornerback situation, but we didn't. Look at what the Jets can do with a couple of great cornerbacks, they can win even with an average cornerback. But I know that won't be the case for us because we have to give Flacco so much money next year- we're screwed.... Torrey - we miss you.

Would've, should've, and couldn've... the fact is that we're 0-2 now, and we will be 0-3 after Sunday- there's no way we beat the Bengals.  I call the fiasco of this season, the Torrey Smith Curse.  He was a leader, and Ozzie opened the door for him to leave- we don't have any real leaders on this team now that he and Suggs are out.  Steve Smith is a leader, but he's 36 and on his way out.  Otherwise, who is our next oldest receiver????  How could Ozzie leave these young receivers to be exposed like this?  Steve Smith can't mentor all these young receivers....Terrible move, Ozzie... 0-3 due to Ozzie not doing anything with the cornerback situation too.

every time i see the ravens play the prevent the ravens seem to lose. just ask new england. i am a ravens fan for the defense and flacco as qb is a bonus. but, the lack of aggressiveness late in the game was made me seat on the edge of the seat too many times to be healthy. i can never say "it's over" knowing that the prevent is coming. the ravens give too much whether it is in yardage gained by the other team or yardage given through dumb penalties.

Besides his early fumble I think Aiken played a decent game considering it was his first time in a bigger role. He was under thrown for what would have been a TD and he had that huge slant and YAC, maybe I'm forgetting other plays.

This game was lost due to horrible defense, ZERO pass rush and lots of busted coverages.

Even the great Jimmy Smith was manhandled by a rookie WR.

Something has to happen, we've got a tough stretch vs CIN + PIT. If we go 0-4 it looks kinda bleak!

As long as we finish with a 4-4 mark at the mid point of the season I could care less about this loss to Oakland. Ravens have been down before and pulled it out and they will again. When I looked at the schedule, I predicted a 5 or 6 loss season. I must admit, this game got away from me. At the end of the day if the Ravens are 4-4 at the mid season break we are in there like swim wear!!

As soon as I saw that babin was inactive I was pissed an I new that it was gonna be a long day for the defense. I mean who did the coaching staff think was going to rush the passer other than dumervil(who u new was gonna get doubled without sizzle). These types of coaching decision drive me nutts. Zadarius smith is a fourth round pick that needs years to develop. He hasn't shown any pass rush skill since day one an upshaw is upshaw. He's good against the run an that's it, a good player but come one John....smh!!

Watching the Colts lose and joining our dilemma was not expected.  During that broadcast the network noted that no 0-2 team made the playoffs in the SB era.  I find that hard to believe and with our crew I hope it becomes locker room material.  We are not used to mediocre play by our team.  That Oakland game will catalize the Raiders and puts us in a corner at home.  We have to take this Bengals game rather than take what they dictate to us. Perhaps Babin will stir up a bees nest on the D line.

I bet the players are not looking forward to today's practice....Harbs is going to unleash on players and coaches if they don't put out maximum effort.....I will say no one hates losing as much as Harbs....Which is a great thing....

Speaks to the D cord...if the lack of pass rush was because Carr was getting the ball out quick, why would we have our CBs playing 10 yards off.

The question for Pees is why use a 3 man rush if it didn't work in Denver.....Because we played Da Raiders, did he think that scheme would work??? on 3rd and long you bring it, not play prevent defense....Ravens D= Being aggressive, and Fearless...

I've noticed some tension with Pee's and Harbs since the beginning of the season, calling his bend don't break motto. Could very well be a short year if not his last full season here if he doesn't turn things around this week.

Saying the defense lacked effort says it all from what I've seen and heard thus far. I'm not sure if its our passive coach or the players lacking that aggressive nature but these guys don't look like a Ravens defense. I thought upgrading our DB's by bringing in some vets would add that swagger back but.....no.

Strongly missing Suggs and the defense of old....
