Trump was prepared with an answer but he took all the fun out of getting blindsided by the question. Someone in the media PR Trump campaign machine probably caught wind of the Flacco debate and he didn't want to look stupid. It's all politics folks. Maybe Trump firmly believes and does know that Flacco is elite. It's also possible Trump had no clue who Joe Flacco was until his PR guy gave him a cue card to read on camera. Either way, I think it's extremely funny that the Flacco debate has turned in to an "important" topic on the national campaign trail.

Who cares what Trump thinks about Average Joe? He is not even close to being elite. I think most NFL fans already know that. Those who refuse to acknowledge that, well, they chug too much purple kool aid. It takes a lot more than a strong arm to be elite. Ask some Bear fans.

Well keep Joe in the shotgun with Forsett by his side and three WRs so everyone can see how "ELITE" he is! LETS DO THIS! Take more than a 0-2 start to ruffle these feathers!

No, Flacco's not elite. Although he is a good quarterback and did win a Super Bowl he is not Elite. An elite QB to me is someone who can pick apart a defense like a surgeon no matter the personnel. They raise everyone's play around them and their clutch. That's not Flacco. Let me tell you I would be so glad if he was but have been disappointed time and time again. I thought for sure this year was going to be great. I had seen poise and a new maturity in him and just felt like he was going to do it. Not! How can you under throw and over throw a 6'6" WR? Please for the love of God end this debate. If you have to ask he's not.

I haven't seen any other QB in the league throw that many lob passes in the end zone as he has. If this is what Trestman is coaching than it needs to change.

I love Flacco but after he and Steve Smith blew a chance to possibly put that game away right before the 2 minute warning, well lets just say it's not the week for elite talk...

REMEMBER FOLKS....  THIS IS A FUN THREAD,

NOT A POLITICAL ONE!

It's not fun or political.  Jump ball Joe has turned a 2-0 raven start to 0-2, all by himself.

How about we not get into politics or what stupid politicians (or people that play at being politicans) think? Let's stick to football. And the fact is, Flacco can be called elite when he starts playing like it in the regular season more consistently. It's his eight year. Underthrowing or sailing passes, and throwing game sealing INTs that everyone including opposing defenses can see coming, are not excusable.

We never should have been in that position to begin with...  Defense let us down yesterday.  Not one play or another.  We couldn't stop a runny nose yesterday...

Funny how folks saw the humor in the sign during the first episode, and all of a sudden "it's not funny".
