Any opinions on Trajae Sharpe UMass WR

Can catch in traffic and supposedly runs the whole route tree. Also reports that he is humble and coachable.

Watching some of the online tape looks good, has speed, but is thin....

Impressed in shrine game and invited to senior bowl, but missed the game with Quad injury

Might be a later round WR that Ozzie takes a chance on.

Im not sure what to think of him, he's kind of an anomaly he only dropped a few balls the last 2 years but he has hands that are under 8 inches, which is the smallest I've ever seen for an NFL prospect, and hand size is a pretty huge factor for wide receiver.

Tiny hands, so he'll be off the boards of a lot of teams

Charone Peaked is a six-three 215 pound receiver out of Clemson who can do most anything you would want. Catches screens and accelerates quickly. Is good in space with the ball in his hands and is a legitimate deep threat.

there is a history of injuries but this is likely a guy who starts to ascend post combine. absolutely a guy I would take in the fourth but he's likely to be gone. I would consider him round three but won't be surprised if he works himself into second round consideration. Not a ton of film on him but certainly his performance vs. Syracuse is worth checking out.

Treadwell will not run at combine, 2nd round maybe?

I think that's an awful decision.  Makes it seem like he has something to hide, as in he's not going to be very fast.

I agree, that's a pretty big mistake. Hopefully we will be able to see him at a pro day.

Is he just not running the 40?

Treads camp must know what he runs already... And it's not good

I think my bigger concern with him not running is that the excuse is that he's not ready.  I can understand if he was coming off of injury, but if you're "unprepared" for the biggest job interview of your life, I have questions.  He's had a long time to be prepared.

I'm not all about 40 times, but this is a case where I think it's important because the tape shows a lot of struggles with separation.

I agree. Unless he's hurt, he should run because otherwise it looks like he's afraid of running a bad time. I don't like guys like that. Makes him not look like a competitor.

Would this be enough of a reason for him to actually to actually fall to the 2nd? I know there has been a lot of talk on other posts pre-senior bowl about moving up in the 20s to grab Spence. If he makes to the 20s is he someone that it would be worth trading up for to get?

Yeah not running is not a smart choice for him. I don't think anyone was expecting anything great but now people are going to be left to draw their own conclusions.

it might. I don't think he was considered that much better than the other top receivers in this draft. Not running could cause Coleman and Thomas to be picked ahead of him. I think the Chiefs would still take him if they get the chance, but if not he could fall to the 2nd. I'd be willing to trade up to pick 30 or 31 for him, ahead of the Titans and Browns who'll probably be looking for a playmaker on offense too.

Treadwell is one of the few receivers in this draft with the resume to play these kinds of games with the combine and keep his draft stock intact. Either way it certainly doesn't come across as a vote of confidence. It doesn't help that 40 times typically get padded at pro-days, but every professional scout in the league probably has their own way around that.

My question now is how he proposes to make any serious improvements to his 40 time and splits in the remaining month or so before his pro day and what it really means if he succeeds. If he can't get faster without dropping weight then he probably isn't going to help himself much, his physicality is a much bigger part of his game then his speed.

Must find a way to get sterling Shepard. MUST!!!!!!! I feel with SSS this will be a critical year for him as far as development, and honestly he is the WR in the draft pound for pound in my honest opinion.

There is so much to love about Sterling but he is this years Lockette. If he can stay healthy 5-10 years in this league I have no doubt in my mind he will be a success, that said, his size makes his long term health a chancy proposition.

Quick question... So I, along with many others, really like Sterling Shepard and definitely see the potential. My question is that, with his size, would he be able to play outside or would he be drafted by a team solely to play in the slot? I would love for the Ravens to address D-line/Jack with the 1st pick and then grab a CB in the 2nd. I know there is a good chance he will be taken mid to late 2nd round. If he falls to the 3rd is he the right choice? Or do you guys have other mid-late round WRs that the Ravens would be better off choosing?

He's about the same size as Antion Brown, so he should be able to play on the outside. I do think there's a decent chance he could be gone before our 3rd round I could definitely see the Panthers taking him in the late 2nd. He'd be a good compliment to Benjamin.

http://draftbreakdown.com/video/sterling-shepard-vs-tennessee-2015/

I had to post this. Im already very high on this kid, but i love this tape of him.

he struggled throughout the whole game nearly yet you could still see him play hard at all times, then with about 4 mins left with his team down by 7 on 3rd and 4, initially he slips on his rote and falls, yet he gets back up and makes a tough catch near the sideline. Then he get the game tying touchdown with .40 to go with an even more impressive catch. Makes a big play in the first overtime and wins the game in double overtime.

Resilient, tough, and a good competitor. Truly pays like a raven.

Sterling Shepard will surpass all expectations. Jalin Marshall will be a clone of Antonio Brown. I agree we must get Shepard and I'd take him with the first second rounder. I truly believe they will move back and around this draft and use their picks wiser then previous. They are making the needed cuts and the sword won't stop swinging for awhile.

I literally just read his draft report on CBS Sports and his only weaknesses are him being undersized and quicker than being fast. Wow.

I understand draft reports aren't the be-all-end-all, but that's pretty impressive I won't lie.

Sterling Shepard is the second coming of Steve Smith... Just saying. And I'm not saying that just because of me being a Ravens fan and Steve Smith is on our team... Steve Smith is undersized.... Not fast but quick..... May also fill a good returner role.

I just wonder why Brown hasn't been cut yet. What gives? He's an obvious bust and any and all cap savings should be made available early. JMO.

I forgot his first name just that fast lol.

I like Shepard as well. Nice route runners and explosives in and out of his cuts.

Treadwell didn't run the 40 because I heard he was going to run 4,7 and it would hurt his draft stock. I heard he's training real hard to get in the 4,6 range at his pro day. At the end of the day he's got a good catch radius and shoulnt go out of the first round but I don't see any WRs in the top 15 picks

Rashard Higgins for our 3rd round pick... Is this possible?

Most definitely. He didn't have a stellar combine and I have never seen him in the 2nd before the combine. Haven't seen much of his game so that's all I can say but he's not going in the second, that I can tell.

He's got some impressive tape, I recommend you watch it. He's a complete package. His tape reminds me of Nelson agholor a lot who I still think is going to be a good wr. I love how refined he is for being a small school guy and how aggressively he catches the ball, his pursuit is NFL caliber and it's not an asset you typically see in college receivers
