If you could tell the Ravens one thing, what would it be?

We all have many things to complain about I am sure(that is why we have the Vent thread), this thread is more about narrowing it down and giving everyone a chance to voice one complaint(or whatever you want to tell the Ravens really) about these past 2 games. I am sure we all have differing opinions on what our biggest issue is but we have plenty of threads to debate how important each one is, this is more about saying what you feel is our biggest problem.

As for what I would tell them, I only need one word but since it isn't always that easy I thought I would be nice and give you more than that. Either way, here is mine: Finish

Could leave it at that but I will explain my reasoning. As bad as we have looked at times, we have been in both games till the end. We were driving against Denver at the very end and were on their 16 needing a touchdown to win. We were up on Oakland by 3 with 2 minutes left and Carr needing to drive down the field. The Ravens couldn't finish the drive by getting that TD to Steve Smith against the Raiders. The defense couldn't take advantage on field position and let Denver burn the clock down on their last meaningful possession, a 3 and out there would have been huge.

Now we can play these what if games all day with a bunch of plays that could have made the difference but my main point is that we were in both games and a couple plays being different in the end could have been the difference in the game. If we want to do anything this year, we are going to need to win close games at some point. The defense is going to have to learn how to get a stop in the 2 minute drill for once(when is the last time that has happened) and the offense needs to learn to finish drives at the end. We face our divisional opponents the next 3 games. Odds are that they are going to be close. We need to learn how to turn a close loss to a close win, it is what separates the bad teams from the good and it makes all the difference come playoff time.

Now that I have that off my chest, feel free to add what you would tell the Ravens and give your reasoning if you want to or don't if you don't want to. Either way, no team has started 0-3 and has gone on to win the Super Bowl. If we want to get another ring, we need to get our act together now.

I'd tell them to ignore Ravens Talk.

(and ask for all the autographs and free merchandise I could find)

Don't panic and stay the course! By season's end this can be a good football team. Right now, we're

not!!! There's no such thing as the status quo. We can either get better or worse. Which will it be?

I will agree that the Ravens need to "finish" the game. After getting behind 10-0 at the get go yesterday, I would add that the it would be a nice gesture to "start" the game off strong also. And, oh yeah, let me add, to play well in between the start and the finish might be helpful also.

No more 3 man rush while playing 10 yards off the WRs it is killing us play man with Jimmy if you need to send help with Lewis on Webb's side do it let Will check the TE and blitz a little please

Stop playing 15 yards off every WR corps you face......especially when they only need 10 yards or less. You're ceding the first down. Mkaythx

I know Flacco has always been the one to throw a few balls a bit high but this season so far he is over throwing everything. It all stems from not being able to set his feet and feel comfortable. So i would say get the O-line in order ASAP. This way we can at least score more efficiently.

Joe said he'd be disappointed if the team won only 10 games this season. At this time, ten wins does not seem likely and may not be good enough to make the playoffs this season. Amazing how a 17 week season can come crashing down in the first 2 weeks. smh

Settling for Justin Tucker field goals will not produce wins. Score touchdowns or sit at home in January.

Stop throwing those high rainbows, Joe.

Step into your throw and toss the ball more on a line than an arc.

Yeah i agree .He certainly has the arm to do this.

Maybe someone can help me out. If its 3rd and 5 and our CB are playing ten yards off the WR how do you logically defend a two step drop? I don't understand the reasoning.

we obviously don't start off very well either. Seems like we never jump out on teams during the regular season.

My words would be "wake up".

Me either but it makes a ton of sense to Pees. It's impossible to defend
