i agree

it never looked like they were going to touch carr today..he could have had a 30 min power nap and upshaw would still be 2 meters away

Meters? We play this game by the English system... yards, son... yards!

I find it hilarious that there was actually a thread a few days ago sayin this was the best defense since 2001 and 1 game later it's the complete opposite. Everybody was praising pees last week and now they're calling for him to lose his job. Wild stuff. It really is a game of inches. 2 plays pan out differently and we could have easily been 2-0 , and heading back to baltimore. and now were 0-2 with the season already slipping away. It's just typical ravens man. The raiders. I tryed to act like this wasn't a possibility and that they wouldn't let themselves lose back to back games like that but I knew it was well within the realm if possibilities.

Oh yeah, and where the hell was camp?

James Jones is only good with The Packers.I think by the time Eddie Royal and Stevie Johnson was signed The Ravens still had Ngata on the team and not alot cap space. Crabtree on the other hand could have been had but there was alot concerns about his healthy or his ability to play well again because he look bad last year .

I mean, we stuck with Webb despite his health issues (and that's looking like a bad decision), we could've given Crabtree a shot.

I'm certain once Melvin comes back and hopefully so and can do what he did in the Preseason, would take the starting job from Webb.

I really don't like to kick a guy when he is down  but I feel your pain. Maybe you can understand a bit more as to why I'm so negative on this team. There are so many personnel issues and nothing is a quick fix. Get ready for an 0 and 4 start and right now I'm not really sure Cleveland will get us in the win column.

Hate to say it but I think it's time for Harbaugh to go.

I don't think Harbaugh is the issue. If he was a former offensive guy or defensive guy I'd understand where you're coming from but he is a Special Teams guy. I think he relies more heavily on his coordinators in that regard than say Rex or Pagano defensively or Chip offensively. That is why we can't keep hiring mediocre coordinators and then refusing to see the mistake and keeping them around.

Trestman has only had 2 games with us so I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. The Pees experiment has more than run its course however.

Hurst held up at tackle.

O-line held up pretty solid. Run blocking could have been better but whatever.

Also have we EVER , EVER. Won the Time of Possession?

No sacks today by the way.

Whaaaaat!? I'm shocked! Bbbbbb-uttt Dean Pees was our defensive coordinator! There is no way! Didn't you see last week!? He's perfect!

Calling for Harbaugh's job? LOL. Even if we finish 1-15 he's safe.

Pees has to go though. Trestman isn't safe either.

Not in agreement with the last statement just quite yet. I think we underestimated the Raiders and that their offense is actually pretty good. But Harbaugh can go 0-16 and be safe. He'd be snatched up on the open market faster than an in his prime Peyton Manning

Dean Peas can't do the same thing if it doesn't work. I'm sorry but three man rushes just doesn't get us to the QB. It doesn't help out much and neither does putting your CBs 5 yards out, I thought NE exposed that HEAVILY. Especially when you have a talented YAC WR like Amari Cooper!

Not buying that the Raiders offense is good. This will be their best offensive showing all year, bet on it.

This.

Harbs is awesome but he is only as good as the people he surrounds himself with. Pees is a firend, like cam was, so... we know how that goes

The Ravens lost both games out west by a total of 10 points. I'm not saying the roof has caved in yet, but if the Ravens get ran out of M&T Bank stadium next Sunday against the Bengals

The next two games will decide how the season is going to play out

Harbs is a motivator and disciplinarian so we need solid Xs and Os guys. But we dont have any

I am disappointed but not stressed. It's a young season. There is a ton of room for adjustment and improvement. I am not stressed.

That said, unless I am quoted I am staying out of this thread.

I've never been a fan of Dean Pees.  No, we cannot blame him for mistakes the players make but he can only call two really good games every year.  There is a reason he hasn't moved on to a head coaching job like the ones before him and its because he sucks.  Personally I am not too concerned just yet about being 0-2.  There are 14 games left.  If we end up 0-4, then I will be.  We are still a good football team that are a little rough around the edges, we'll get it going.

It's quite possible that we did  have interest in Crabtree and it was reported that there was some interest but The Raiders must have been offering more money.  I can't blame The Ravens for not wanting to put  more money up for a receiver that could be the current Hakeem Nicks due to injuries if was indeed true that they had interest in him.

harbaughs not the problem. And flacco is not the problem. He put us in the position to win last week and this week. Sure he made some mistakes- but giving up 37 points to the raiders is unexceptable. If anybody has to go it's pees. However I'm still gonna give it until Atleast week 4 before making any rash statements about people deserving to lose their jobs. We need to find our identity and fast. I'm holding on to a thread of hope that we can win the next 2, but right now we just gotta take it one game at a time.

You can't let a team like Oakland get a 10-0 jump on you in tag first quarter and expect good things to happen. Had we pounced on them their confidence would've been shot and it would have been a long day for them. I blame that on jimmy getting burnt by a rookie and Aiken. How many times are we gonna get off to a horrible start and have to climb our way back into games ?

Really starting to wish we could have gotten Marcus peters in the first round. Hoping perriman comes back and sets the world on fire though.

Well IMO where we are right now is directly related to the coaches who got us here. It doesn't matter the mindset of the coaching staff -  it's all about results. Did you listen to Harbaugh's post game press conference? To me he clearly seems like a guy who is completely out of touch with reality.

Or he's said he has no interest in being a head coach... that could be a big reason

All of this was said about the game vs the Raiders after that Denver loss.  The Ravens are just not that good!  I believe that the Bengals will come to town salivating cause the Ravens are 0-2 and in the bottom of the division and they have the opportunity to keep us there with a win.

And, just like the Ravens PR people love to hype up and mention what the Ravens did to their present opponents in the past with vdeos and articles....I'm pretty sure the Bengals will be showing footage to their fan base all week long of how they have had the Ravens number the last few games that they played....including in M&T.

You might think so but the same was said about Jim Harbaugh. Even tho that whole Niner fiasco was rigged from the beginning I for one am ready for a clean slate. I can promise you an 0-16 record would get Harbaugh fired. He is not untouchable.
