I don't see how we contain the Bengals or the Steelers offense without an efficient pass rush. Their offences are too good and they both have way too many weapons.

If we somehow win this game. We will be back in the division race.

Heck if we win and everyone loses we tied again.

But if we lose, we have such a huge hole. If it wasn't already bigger.

Can someone make me feel a little optimistic about this? We were just forced into a SHOOTOUT with OAKLAND and we LOST. This is way worse than the Bills or even the 2013 Broncos game. I'm thinking sub .500 right now.

Did you mean he wasn't ALL bad? Because cooper ate his lunch on the first drive. He then gave away fifteen yards for unsportsmanlike. And he held cooper to stop him from getting behind him.

So he was a little bad.

I have my doubts about this penalty after they didn't show a replay. Usually with a hold, the defensive player is seen chasing the wide receiver, but Jimmy was on top of Cooper and in perfect position to make a play on the ball.

At least we should be underdogs for the rest of the season now.

Yup.

Back under the radar baby.

This team is in trouble. I mean the next game is against a team that swept you, and then a Thursday Night game against the #1 passing attack in the NFL. You can't sugercoat it.

0-4 and you're pretty much done.

Agreed...but it's basically guaranteed.

At this rate he'll be done by week 6.

Its too much for a player at age 36. Hes great, doesn't play like hes 36, but at some point your body wears down. Hes our #1 guy, grabbing all the targets and returning punts....Idk man...it can wear a guy down. We all saw last season, he wore down, it might happen and again and when it does, well...lets hope Perriman gets back by then because he could be the #1 option suprisingly enough.

If serious changes don't take place we're very much on our way to 0-4. Maybe we'll get to enjoy some home cooking against the Bengals, if this team can get their act together. It would take a ridiculous miracle to be able to beat Pittsburgh in Week 4; the way I see it, 1-3 is the best scenario, if we get lucky against Cincinnati next week. Very disappointed and surprised with what this team has given us so far.

The problem with this is, before the game against the Raiders, i think the consensus was we were going to be ok until he got back so when he actually hit the field, it would be a bonus and not a need to perform.  Now, its clear that he will need to perform right away and be a playmaker, now he has pressure on him which can make or break a rookie.

The problem imo is we just dont have the personel to make the changes needed to fixed these issues.  This is only one game with out Suggs so maybe there is a chance for the pass rush to adjust, but i think its clear that some, if not mostof us,  underplayed the impact of losing him for the year, i know i did.  Not having Suggs in Pitt is devastating and with the way the steelers are playing on offensive, this could get extremely ugly.

Prediction is we win every game until the bye week.

Then we lose to the Jags.

Then we find ourselves in a must win situation in week 17 against the bangles plus we some other team has to beat the chargers again.

Bengals next 4 games : @Ravens, vs Chiefs, vs Seahawks, @bills.

Steelers next 4 games : @Rams, vs Ravens, @Chargers, vs Cardinals.

Browns next 4 games : vs Raiders, @Chargers, @Ravens, vs Broncos.

Ravens next 4 games : vs Bengals, @Steelers, vs Browns, @49ers.

Winning 3/4 should put us in decent shape considering the difficulty of each teams schedule. Beating both the bengals and steelers would be very nice.

I could never be proud to predict a terrible record for my own team. There are 31 other teams I can be brutally honest with. Can't say I blame anyone I guess after losing to Oakland but damn football just got here. 0-4 echoing before your team even plays? SMH

Let's get some momentum with a divisional win at home!

Im really concerned about Steve Smith workload right now. He needs some help.

Aiken, camp and Marlon aren't starter material. Neither is Forsett and ferro.

Steve was absolutely dominant just like this last season at the start of the season. But like yesterday, he had virtually no help.

Aiken, Marlon, Waller and Camp scammed the fans. They showed up acting like they can do the job, then shriveled and played like complete chumps come gametime.

Pretenders needs to go home. We need to find someone who can be a weapon in the field.

We just pretty much made this Week 3 game a must-win.

Dalton and the weapons the Bengals got him (poor Joe, never gets weapons) will tear up Pees soft defense.

Offense needs to put up 40 or better to win most likely.

Bengals play us expecting to win. No answer for Dalton and the bengals offense. Our offense struggles against the bengals. Doesn't look great.

Winning 3/4 is very doable for this team.  It all starts this Sunday at home vs the Bengals.  I expect Pees to dial up pressure and have our corners jam Green and Jones at the line more.  Saw Mosley injured his knee in the Raiders game, hope he is good to go because him and Hill will be tasked with covering Eifert.  I think we win this game because our backs are against the wall, but I may be optimistic

One thing i havent seen mentioned is that we will have Babin this weekend, i would assume that has to make a slight difference.  Maybe he is going to make this defense step up

In ten days, we will either be riding a huge high with a real contending team who has shown their true colors, or we will be counting down the days to the draft. I'm hoping for a switch to turn on out of nowhere, like last year against Pitt on Thursday night. Bengals look good, but we can definitely beat them. Both sides have to play well, though. I hope they have each given us their exception to the rule already and play up to their capabilities the rest of the season.

The season is still salvageable ladies and gents. We are in one of the least predictable divisions (outside of NFC East) we can beat Cincy. And if we don't I will cry because all the dumb Bengals fans won't let me hear the end of it.
