My exact thought when I get the notification. I doubt his job would have been that much more complicated than "sack the QB" so I can't figure out why he's inactive again. Especially after all the "he could play this week" talk leading up to the Raiders game

I'm REALLY starting to question Harbaugh he either has NO comprehension of time or he just has poor judgement. First the BP drama and now this. We already KNOW our current pass rushers stink and we're about to play a good O-line. Edited by Cillmatic

I don't know who to blame. I mean obviously he's not ready or he would be active. I'm sure he wants him out there More than anybody. It is a little odd how he was supposedly almost able to play at Oakland but still not ready for the home opener a week later. Oh well. Another setback. Still nothing we can't overcome.

I'm very disappointed that Babin isn't ready yet

Likewise, especially since the Bengals OL is one of only two units to not allow a sack through two games.

This might be through three games after today

We're gonna break through that stat today...  Ravens are gonna get a sack...  AND cause a turnover...  Will Hill is ticked off over that bad call on his INT last week.

Harbaugh raved about how smart Babin was and just needed to know where to lineup basically. Here we are another week down a pass rusher. The sad part is we don't even know if he will have an impact, but we need all hands on deck to stop this "Owen" start.

The Bengals seem to be content with only sending their front 4 at the passer on most plays (they were 27th in the league with 21% of defensive snaps blitzed last year, among many other 4-3 teams). Stacking the box doesn't really make sense to me unless we put out a heavy formation, considering Trestman seems much more inclined to pass, even when a run would be much more prudent.

Of course, he probably could stack the box if he wanted to, considering we don't have a receiving corps capable of taking advantage of thin coverage, mainly because we lack a deep threat.

They did exactly what i stated blitzing is totally different than crowding the LOS. The Ravens WR's arent good enough and Flacco still doesnt play well against zone coverage
