[News] Jason Babin Inactive vs. Raiders

39 posts in this topic

I would like to see Za'Darius Smith in this game. Let him get his feet wet against an opponent we should be able to beat. It will let us see what we got and give Babin another week to get up to speed with our playbook on defense. I think it may be a good move.

Defense is a little concerning... not sure if the can pressure the passer consistently with out a pure pass rusher...

Huge mistake to start some rookie over experience. I don't know much about Z. Smith, he may be good later down the line, but there is no way I'm not starting Jason Babin in this game. Not one sack in this game. I am very displeased with the way we look right now. Terrell Suggs gone and you can tell our defense is feeling it right now. I'm willing to bet we start Jason Babin next week. All that hype about J. Babin and he doesn't start. I'm just a fan, but this sounds crazy to me.

We got to give it up for Joe, Steve Smith Sr., Kamar Aiken, and a offensive line who seems to be playing better without Eugene Monroe. you guys don't hear it much, but way to freakin go offense.

our secondary did great last week against peyton because he was old as dirt slow as all hell they got picked apart today and the raiders oline destroyed us. very pathetic game

They let Oakland roll them for 37 points. What will Ben and Dalton do with AJ Green and A. Brown? How about Rivers, Palmer? Defense looked good last week cause Manning wasn't trying/capable of taking shots down the field. Even if Ravens scored a TD, with over 2 minutes, I felt like Raiders was going to at least tie. I just want to see improvement week to week. 33 point should be enough.

1st week the offense sucked and now the defense. What is next...both side will suck next week, come on!!! Sorry to say it, but they need to get it together. Where is that philosophy "next man up" cuz i don't see it. It is embarrassing and i am tired of excuses from the player and coaches.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH ROFLOL! Are you serious?! We just lost to a team that some project to be dead last in 2015. WOW!!!

Good news though, we'll get an early draft pick in 2016, hopefully we'll draft a WR who can last longer than half a practice. I'd say let's draft defense, but we pretty much lack players at all positions on defense so no one knows where to start on there.

But in all seriousness, Ravens can't consider themselves even a playoff contenders with these kind of performances. damN BROWNS ARE AHEAD OF US IN DIVISION. This is pathetic.

Ravens looked shaky. Like they lacked confidence. They really need to get over that and find an emotional leader to take over where Suggs left off. This game was all about the defense...blowing it. The offense scored points, tho they didn't feel solid either. Work to be done on both sides. But the word that lingers after two weeks of regular season : SHAKY. Find the strength to play with confidence -mainly @ the defense, but offense as well. There's no real anchoring player that instills confidence, Will Hill did give some excitement/hope tho. But we needed a touchdown off the interception, not field goal *rolls eyes* and then hold the Raiders to no score after, or only field goal.

We have no defensive line. They thought B.Williams & Jernnigan...wait.. first of all idk who bumped their head and thought that Jernigan was a good replacement for Ngata!!!!, but they thought Jernigan and Williams would fit good but the fact is they are too small. This is the worst defensive line I've seen us have since.... forever.

Trestman calls plays not to turn the ball over,4fgs looks more like Cam Cameron,I guess Kubiak ruined US. Peas couldn't get a pass rush and Carr has live arm. Bengals beat this same team 33-13 so this year looks bleak. if we go 4-2 on the road and 6-2 at home both Steelers&Bengals make the playoffs. Manzel looked good. Babin couldn't have hurt.

too bads we activated Trestman.

And in retrospect looks like Babin active might have been the better move? Maybe there was a specific reason they didn't activate him. Kinda wished they had now...cause you never know, could have made a huge difference in close scoring game as this.

33 points and 380 plus yards throwing by Flacco should win us games, but when you have a defensive line, and a DC who doesn't understand that a 3 man rush didn't work in Denver, and it didn't work in Oakland....We are supposed to have a good enough secondary to throw exotic blitzes at teams, and i saw none....just venting......
