Not true. James Harrison was cut by us way back in the day and he went under the radar for a while until the steelers gave him a shot. Get your facts straight  #FACTS

 

Lets be real here man you talking about a receiver that only looked good against defensive players that most likely are not evening playing in The NFl right now, you talking about a guy who had all training camp and ota's to impress the coaches but never got the opportunity to play on the first team with Joe Flacco throwing the ball and etc but yet you believe he's ready to be  a starter right now and would be better than Aiken?

 

You mention James Harrison  whom was cut by The Ravens and then was cut by NFL Eurupe  team called the  Rhein Fire in 2004. He actually was cut by The Steelers first before he became a Raven and this what his former Steeler  teammate had to say about him "Harrison was so green early on in his career that he would simply give up on plays on which he was struggling and even would ask the coaches not to play him when he was struggling.". The Steeler teammate at the time even said  "He was a knucklehead that didn't know the plays. We'd be in practice, in training camp, and he might not know what he was doing so he'd just stop and throw his hands up and tell (the coaches) to get him out of there. We thought the guy was crazy."

 

Harrison did eventually become a good player and the same can be said about Daniel Brown  but you can't technically call Harrison underrated. He was a player with potental but wasn't showing anything early on his career for teams to keep around until he was cut three times. It seems like  Harrison just was immature young guy at first and it took for him to get cut three times to humble him enough to take the game serious.

 

You speaking like Harrison was good  already when he was with The Ravens but that's not true. Daniel Brown could be a good player but obvious he's not good enough right now for The Ravens because if he was then he wouldn't have been cut by The Ravens twice but can he eventually become a good player? Yes but just wasn't good enough right now and if he was good enough to be number 2 receiver right now then I think teams that are in need of receiver help like The Panthers, Browns and etc would have signed him by now.

In case you didn't notice , Joe's offense put up 33 points on the road .

And still managed to under throw players multiple times and throw an awful ball that got picked at the end of the game. Like last week.

Lets be real here, were talking about the Raiders secondary, beat up, inexperienced, and supposedly one of the worst in NFL. You guys who really think Aiken is going to be something are just people who go whichever way the tide is going. No offense man, were fans of the same team.

 

And plus, look at Aikens rap sheet. He bounced around practices squads and active rosters for the pats and bears just to be cut days later. So it is fair to say that he had years to show what he could do and he didn't show up. He's only with us because of the TD grab he had in the playoffs against the pats. I am not a hater at all, I just hate to see us make the wrong moves. Seasons ago I said that Bernard Pierce (who is a very cool dude) wasn't a good running back and we should have kept Bobby Rainey over him. Exact same scenario, Bernard was 2nd string and Rainey was an undrafted guy. There is favoritism for the spotlight players and not the underdogs in our organization, I still love this team but it is the truth. Daniel Brown came out the cage making plays, hate all you want but when his name was called he showed up every time.

If our offense scored 40 and still lost you would still be complaining about Flacco .

You have to understand he is the QB he will get the most love when things go right and the most hate when it doesn't. But him underthrowing wide open receivers is getting pretty old. Like I don't understand why he lobs almost every pass, even across the middle of the field.

of course it isn't mathmatically but if we are 3 games behind the Bengals after three weeks it will be very difficult, but no impossible to catch them.  I still think they get themselves together and win the next two.

Seriously? Hadn't been posted in in over 12 hours. Why ask?

I am going to answer ^^ then lock. We have just started locking game threads this year because people make silly comments, you know who you are. We had kept them open until Tuesday for people that have been to the game to post their thoughts/ review or people that have had to work or live in a different time zone and are watching delayed can post.

Our posters self moderated/restrained from posting so we did not have to lock the threads.
