I've been telling myself (and anyone else that would listen) all week that our offense looked so bad because the Broncos are likely the best defense in the NFL.  If our offense doesn't light up this Raiders D I will start getting worried

I've been telling myself (and anyone else that would listen) all week that our offense looked so bad because the Broncos are likely the best defense in the NFL.  If our offense doesn't light up this Raiders D I will start getting worried 

Its not so much that they are the best defense in the NFL so much as they are the best defense in the NFL against what the Ravens had.  Offensively they had a good offensive guard play but an injured LT with a pretty good number 1 WR in Steve Smith with the rest of the weapons being average or inexperienced.  Denver has a very good number 1 DB and a very solid pass rush to not allow the rest of the weapons time to get open.  Not many teams can claim to have both of those this season so it was the worst possible matchup at the worst possible time.
