[News] Who's Practicing, Who's Not vs. Raiders

Can't help but wonder what benefit the Ravens have in being so secretive about Perriman's injury? There's no doubt at this point that it's intentional.

All I know is it's rather difficult for Flacco to complete passes while laying on his butt. That protection needs to be strengthened and soon. It looked like 2013 all over again last Sunday.

Justin Tucker rushes for the Raiders and we picked up a new cornerback named Lardarius Smith. Usually I am not too rough on these guys but Mink has made a number of just plain basic writing mistakes in his last couple articles.  Last article Suggs had an ACL injury not an Achilles injury.  I write myself and know how things can slip by, but these are names of the players of the team that you cover.   Clearly something is on his mind, but it sure isn't writing articles for the Ravens.

WHAT IS HARBAUGH hiding? I don't get. WHat is really going on with our #1 pick- Breshad Perriman?

Why put it on Harbaugh?? He can only go on what the player is telling the trainers and vice versa. Hiding?? C'mon Man smh Think.

"The Raiders have a 4-3 defense, but can get similar pressure with defensive ends Khalil Mack, Justin Tucker and newly-added Aldon Smith." Not sure how I feel about Justin Tucker ligning up on the D-line for Oakland :P

Yup, he'd thump this Swiss cheese line

Monroe could not practice if he wanted to, from what I read if you suffer a concussion on a Sunday, the first day you can officially practice is Friday.

Correct. I would think they would have another plan in place by moving KO to LT and Urschel at LG

Yet another in a long list of poorly written and obviously not proofread "articles" by one of the Three Musketeers. It's been going on for years, yet they keep their jobs. An eight year old can write better. What a joke. Surely they must be related somehow to the Owner.

Typo for Tucker instead of Tuck. Made for some comical rebuttals. I'm pretty sure there was no loss of life due to this mistake.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find out that Perriman has had some kind of surgery and its being kept from the public. A sore knee for almost 2 months ? C'mon man.

Would you go around tell everyone you bought a lemon?

Ya, something is up with Perryman. No real injury report to speak of. Maybe they're just keeping Brashaad under wraps till mid season then bring him out so no one has any tape on him. It's either that or he's a 1st year bust (Kindle). Not an uncommon thing but it sure would be nice to know if we'll ever see our investment actually on the field some time this season.

Love to think that but I'm afraid they found something more serious wrong with him. It would explain a lot.

On Perriman, it's probably one of those situations where if the knee isn't healed and they force him playing it could cause permanent damage, so they would have to be absolutely certain he is fully healed before the go ahead. Why toss your investment away by being impatient? Better to be safe than sorry.

i want perriman back when he is 1000% healed and ready to go full throttle but until than trade for a receiver or give waller or jeremy butler a shot if marlon and kamar do not improve

The Perriman injury just seems like deja vu and I am just referring to him now as Sergio Perriman.

It was pretty obvious from day one thsat Kindle would be out for at least a full seson once he took  a nosedive down a flight of stairs, with the definite possiblity that he would never play a snap of football again - so, there was no continuous frustration, because we knew from the outset that we won't get him back for the season. Perriman, however, was first said to only miss a couple of days - and that's why it's so frustrating that he's still out.

perriman most likely has a severely sprained knee which takes a long time to heal

It's already been taking a long time... but what can we - or he - do but wait patiently...

With the Raiders and Bengals these next 2 weeks, allowing Monroe to heal would be ideal imo and be ready for the Steelers. Hurst could use the reps at left tackle or bump Osemele to lt and see how he handles it these next 2 weeks and Hurst moves to guard. not saying these 2 gmes are gimmies but our chances are pretty good.

I hope Melvin can heal up soon, I was hoping to see this kid continue to get snaps and improve... Webb was on skates last week more than a few times.

Nothing against Forsett but I never envisioned him replicating his magical season last year especially once Kubiak left. While a strong year would be welcomed, I believe eventually either LT or Buck Allen will take over as the dominate ball carrier this season...

I thought that we were getting a better LT than it looks like we did in Eugene Monroe. It's not just the number of games that he's missed due to injury which, at least in My opinion, has been significant. I just thought he was going to play at a higher level. I realize that quality LTs are few and far between. They are a rare commodity, and I never thought that we were getting one of the best out there. But, I did expect him to play better than we've seen. I've come to rate him as almost just a functional LT, not really a good one. I'm not so sure that in time Hurst might prove to be just as good as Monroe is. Now I certainly realize how good the Broncos' rushers are. They've got two excellent ones in Ware and Miller. So, I'm not saying all this based on just this past week's game. My gosh, Wagner didn't exactly have a day to be proud of either. I do believe that our OL will play better as the season continues. But, I don't feel as warm and fuzzy as I did coming off of last season's performance. I thought our OL was one of the strengths of our team. But, now, some doubts are beginning to creep in about our OL looking forward. After this season, we have already known that both our guards will be without contracts barring something changing that. And now, I'm thinking that we could really use a serious upgrade at LT, and that is truly hard to find. I wish I felt better about this.

Raven Maniac#7-

I've been saying it since we signed Monroe. All I saw was a serviceable left Tackle not a good one. The last good left tackle we had was the big guy that Harbaugh didn't care for but we won the Super Bowl with. I would have thought after getting our receiver in the first round of the draft and then maybe after the coveted tight End, surely we would have looked hard for a Left Tackle. Well no need to say more. Here we are, and no there is no warm and fuzzy to be felt about our O Line at this point in time.
