[News] Who's Practicing, Who's Not vs. Raiders

"The Raiders have a 4-3 defense, but can get similar pressure with defensive ends Khalil Mack, Justin Tucker and newly-added Aldon Smith." Not sure how I feel about Justin Tucker ligning up on the D-line for Oakland :P

Justin Tucker is a defensive end for Oakland? We have a cornerback named Ladarius Smith? Was someone at happy hour when they wrote this article? :)

perriman needs the time to heal, theres no point focusing on him till he can play. in the meantime, is there no one who can be brought in to fill the gap? I'm genuinely curious/ asking, harbs and oz never considered if he were to be injured and we needed someone else to stretch the field? are there other players that were to do so and are also injured? pardon my ignorance

I am wondering if Monroe is injury prone...how many games did he miss last year? The year before?? Is it technique related, or toughness related?

Your still wondering????

Monroe could not practice if he wanted to, from what I read if you suffer a concussion on a Sunday, the first day you can officially practice is Friday.

Just sayin', from what they've put out there, Perriman had some type of sprain or bruise like a month and a half ago. Ok. Dez Bryant broke his foot and was given a 4-6 week return time. Broke. Not sprained or bruised. Broke.

Something to think about.

I wonder exactly what you are wondering.....

Monroe didn't miss significant time because of injury but he played banged up for the majority of his time at Baltimore. Most of his injuries were bad luck like this or when he got rolled up on. But it leaves me to wonder why hes always in a position to get unlucky?

Whether we like it or not, Monroe is staying here for this season and next because of the contract he signed. We don't need Monroe to be he next Yanda or KO but seriously bro carry your own weight and contribute like the 8 mil man that you are.

O there is something going on, definitely. Some of it has to do with being first round pick which he definitely was not worth it. Why? because you have 4 years and you just lost one year of development so by the time he does (if he does) become what you thought other teams are throwing money at him.

I'm still calling it now, IF he can stay healthy, and IF the Ravens actually give him a decent amount of carries, Taliaferro has the talent to play his way into our #1 starting role eventually. Forsett is the man right now, but there is not reason that Lorenzo could not be the man of the future.

Come on guys. Justin Tuck. Not TuckER. Editing has been getting sloppy lately.

Glad Taliafero is back. Buck looked good too. I have a feeling there is something fishy going on with Perriman. Truth will come out eventually.

So if Taliaferro and Forsett are both able to play, what do we do with Terrence Magee?  I doubt we keep 4 running backs on the active roster if the other 3 are healthy.  We could use a 6th corner or maybe Jeremy Ross gets called up.

Tucker lining up on Oaklands defense, Perriman sighted in a T-shirt on the west coast, cats and dogs living together, Total Mayhem!!! LOL just beat the crap out of Oakland Sunday and come home :) GO RAVENS!

Ya, something is up with Perryman. No real injury report to speak of. Maybe they're just keeping Brashaad under wraps till mid season then bring him out so no one has any tape on him. It's either that or he's a 1st year bust (Kindle). Not an uncommon thing but it sure would be nice to know if we'll ever see our investment actually on the field some time this season.

Depending on the injury, sometimes a soft tissue injury can be more severe and difficult to recover from than a broken bone.  I know that sounds strange but it has to do with blood supply.  Bones have good blood supply whereas tendons and ligaments less so.

Very often bone will heal faster than a softer tissue problem (sprain). It would still be nice to get a definitive statement about what the actual injury is on Perriman (or did I miss that). Good to have Lorenzo back, maybe we can pound it to Oakland this week so Joe's not dancing for his life again.

Perriman must have some type of stress fracture that we aren't being told about.

We were told it was ligament damage which can take longer than bone damage to heal from.  See my comment below.

You have to ask yourself why did Jacksonville give up Monroe for a pick? McKinney was fat and lazy, but at least when called on he performed. As for Perriman, we continue to wait. Hope this man just blows us away when he does get on the field, again I say when or if.
