Week 2 Discussion (Other Teams)

So weird seeing corners playing close to the line of scrimmage. Lol

To be fair, it doesn't hurt when you have Revis and Cromartie lined up and a pretty ferocious pass rush up front.

Wasn't saying it as a shot at the Ravens. Outside of the Ravens I don't sit down and watch too many other teams, so it's legit weird to see. Given our guys give so much space.

Is Cromartie playing? I thought he was injured.

Yeah, I get what you were saying. It's like watching other teams with a reliable go-to WR. Another really good press CB to team with Jimmy is kinda my dream, haha.

Wow for the second week in a row, the Colts are pretty much showing Luck is the team and if you stop him, then you can easily beat the Colts, even with Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Based on their resume's so far, I wouldn't.

Winning two road games against two teams that were viewed as quality teams is far more impressive to me than beating the Bears on the road and even beating Seattle at home.

If I go purely based on resume and what I've seen from watching the games, NE looks like the class of the league right now.

The Patriots beat the Steelers at home when the Steelers had no Le'Veon Bell (arguably the best running back in the league) and no Martavis Bryant. That's two players that accounted for a third of Roethlisberger's touchdowns and a quarter of his yardage. That's really impressive when you consider that Gillette Stadium is considered to be one of the biggest home field advantages in the NFL as the Patriots rarely lose there when Brady and Belicheck are together.

They then played a Bills team with a first time starting quarterback that was playing against Belicheck, a known defensive genius. Tyrod then proceeded to take eight sacks and throw three interceptions, but somehow the Bills crawled back from 37-13 to make it 37-32 at some point. And considering going into the game that Brady was 23-3 against the Bills and had seen plenty of Rex from the Jets days, was it truly a surprise that they won? Probably not.

The win for the Packers against the Bears may not have been extremely impressive, but neither was the win against the Steelers for the Patriots, but the Packers beating a team that came off of back to back Super Bowl appearances, ranking number one in total defense and rushing offense, is far more impressive than the Patriots beating the Bills, a team they nearly always beat.

They do not look like the class of the NFL to me

I like watching this Jets defense. Makes me feel a bit better seeing Luck struggle with Dorsett, Johnson, and Hilton as weapons. Even though they're going up against a good secondary.

It always helps to watch other good sides struggle. ^_^

Luck has always been overrated. Good, but people were already putting him on par with Rodgers. Nonsense.

And the Colts are at HOME. They should be playing much better.

4 teams started both games on the road this season, if I'm correct. 3 are 0-2 (Us, Lions, Seahawks), and 1 is 1-1 (Dolphins, who lost @JAX and beat @WAS).

I really like this Jets team led by Bowles. One of my better predictions to be the team to challenge the Pats.

Bowles is a really good coach. If they ever get a real QB, watch out

I could definitely see that, maybe even three. Four if the Colts lose tonight too (I think they make the playoffs irrespective of their result tonight unless Luck gets injured for the season or something ridiculous like that).

Man, how crazy a season would that be?

Teams who start 0-2 have an 11% chance of making the playoffs but it has happened with one 0-2 team in each of the last two seasons.
